@indn_innocense: yea netflix instant play is awesome. Have you watched peepli (live) yet? Its on instant play too. Thats where I watched both udaan and peepli. They also have The blue umbrella on there....another great watch. We are family was on there too, but bleh.....skipped it....don't have time or energy to watch Kajol and Kareena's OTT melodrama.

Kajol and kareena didn't go OTT in the film. So you should watch it. But if you were ref to the film being OTT I don't think it was either. But yes it was very emotional.

We Are Family!
The Kareena-Kajol pairing is awesome
it goes to show that they both are good actors how easily they can pick up from Pooja-Anjali and slip into the WAF characters!
Arjun oviously didn't have that of a great role, but I think he did good with what he had and the kids are so cute!

Xeta - Don't watch We are Family. *shakes head* Just don't....I understand everyone is bound to have different tastes, likes, dislikes for cinema.....but I fail to realize why such a film was even made. All I remember was....Wahhhhhhh, wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I watched it on TV, and I enjoyed the commercials more. 😍 Arjun was as good as the wooden chest drawer. It's such a oh-we-are-so-purfect-and-stupid movie.

There's no groW*H in the film...it's numbs your brain....it manipulates the weak.

Zainab, your wish is my command. 😆 Watched Step mom like 10 years ago, that was enough melodrama for me. This one has the backing of KJO as added bonus.....I really don't have the knawing urge to look at the screen and pull my hair out any time soon. 😕

Nooo, I haven't seen Peepli Live and Blue Umbrella yet but I did see that they're available on Instant Play, which made me happy. I'm definitely planning to watch these two one of these days. Oh and they have Ishqiya too. Seriously, Netflix zindabaad.😆

Anyway, I also watched Delhi-6 and Pyaar Impossible last week since they were available on Instant Play and I thought that since my family pays a monthly fee to Netflix, might as well take advantage of it more than I already do...even if the movies may be crap. 😆 So yeah, both of them were SO bad!

Delhi-6...didn't really like it. The movie just kept on dragging and I didn't even know in which direction was the movie going. I still don't understand the whole concept of a 'kaala bandar'. Abhishek was okay I guess, but omg Sonam...she can't act! Am I the only one who thinks she gets worse with each movie of hers? 😕

Pyaar Impossible...I'd rather not write much about it since I'm sure everyone knows how bad it was. Even a rating would not justify how pathetic the movie was.

WAF made me go W*F....I watched it in theaters and all I remember is playing Angry Birds on my iphone 15 minutes into the movie. It was such a snoozefest.😆

Saw Love, Sex aur Dhoka.

It's no where near a conventional bollywood film. The film tackles issues that actually go on today, so it's nothing over the top, or bogus etc. I mentioned this in another thread, but I'll say it again anyways...there are three stories depicted in the film, each that presents an issue - one should keep that in mind because one may get a bit confused here and there if you fail to realize that. At times, I was a bit confused as to what was going on..especially in the beginning when you see everything being shown through a camcorder (something you've probably never seen in a bollywood film before) so that's a bit uncomfortable but as the film progresses you get used to that. The actors were amazing. I have never seen any of the actors/actresses before, but they did a great job while playing their characters. No exaggeration or W*F moments in the movie.

I made a thread asking a question in regards to this film, and from the responses in that thread I figured a lot of people have not seen this film...so, I'd definitely recommend it. :-)...It's not one of those films where you'd go, omg I just adored/LOVEDDDDDDD this film (once you're done with it) but if anything, you'll surely appreciate how the director presents the audiences with something new than the typical brainless stuff we see in movies these days. I just feel the film got a bit boring towards the end, otherwise everything else was nicely achieved.

I would give it a 7.5/10.

Guzaarish...I liked the sensitivity of the film.I also liked the fact that SLB didn't put unnecessary focus on Aishwarya's character. The best thing about the movie was Ethan's dry sarcastic humor and his interactions with Sophie. The first half was good but it became predictable towards the end ...I was a little bored too.
Initially, before watching the movie I didn't pay much attention to the songs but while watching the movie I enjoyed them immensely. Jaane kiske Khwaab, Tera Zikr and Udi have been well written and picturized and fit the story and mood of the movie. Overall ...a one time watch.

saw Isi Life Main and No One Killed Jessica

ILM-Its a cute film...WAY OTT though....the cast is meh....Monish Behl was good...but I liked the message of the film....but dont expect it to be like a conventional Rajshri film because its not.....but still an ok watch if you're really really really bored

NOKJ-WOW.....just WOW....I thought seriously the best movie after 3 Idiots (movie wise) and best movie after Rang De Basanti(content wise) lol I also liked how they incorporated RDB into the film......Rani and Vidya...were supberb...I'd give a little edge to Rani because she was kickass👍🏼 lol I loved the way she called herself a b-word and said the f word like millions of times in the movie....it made her seem real.....I actually wasnt that aware of the Jessica Lal case so it was really interesting to see that.....cannot believe the reason behind her murder and the amount of corruption🤢 but seriously a must watch if you havent done so and Rani fans rejoice....she is BACK with a bang
