In the movies she has a whole team of Dubbing artists, Language translators, Speech and dialogue writers.

Well in the Interviews, She is on her own. 😊

Its okay, you know..not that big a deal.I'm Bengali but fluent in Hindi...but loads of my Hindi-speaking friends understand Bengali but aren't so fluent in it,even after having been born and brought up in Kolkata.
It happens.No fuss.

Sridevi used to have her voice dubbed for most of her hindi films. Even after so many years in Bollywood, she still could not grasp the language well enough to say her own dialouges!
And then there is someone like Tom Alter (he was a very popular character artist who used to come in almost every second hindi film back in the 90's) who is a Britisher, born and brought up in UK, yet could speak chaste hindi, without even a trace of any foreign accent!
Language is just an ability like other things, some people get it, some don't!

^Actually, Tom Alter is born and brought up in India. He's an Indian in every sense of the word.

I don't see a huge issue here. If she's asked a question in ENglish she's gunna answer back in English. I don't watch a lot of interviews but hardly do I ever hear celebrities answer back in Hindi now a days anyway.

Oh! Thanks for the info and correcting my mistake!
I always assumed that he was a Brit! In anycase, he has a great command over Hindi!
And yeah, I checked Wikipedia, he is an Indian of American Origin!
PS : I should check Wiki before posting my facts!😳😆
Anyway, my whole point was that being comfortable with a language is a subjective thing...it works for some, it doens't for others!

If she loved the language, she could surely speak it fluently as she lives her for 7 years. She still can't speak the language just because she doesn't like Hindi language at all!
