Mayank and Nupur were going to be parents soon…. Soon as in a couple of days…… As the due date came closer Nupur hormones started acting up and practically everything around her used to irritate her. The doctor had told them that they had nothing to worry and everything was just perfect.
In the morning….
M: Nupur….. utho. Dekho doodh pilo…..
N: Mayank …… mujhe doodh nahi chahiye…….. isme thodi se coffee mila do na..
M: bilkul nahi……. Caffeine is bad for you tumhe pata hai na….. Maine tumhare liye vo kitab laayi thi na pregnancy waali usme tumne padha nahi……
N: Hey bhagwaan…. Mayank kitab ko dekhte hi mujhe neend aa jaati hai … main kya khaakh padhungi…. Ulta tumhe nahi lagta ki kitab se bahiya tum mere liye koi nayi dress late ya gehne kharidte….. Gift diya bhi to kya…. Kitab.
M: Theekh hai baba…….. ab tum doodh piyo chalo….
Nupur makes faces and somehow finishes the milk. She admires the way Mayank has been taking care of her but just doesn't want to let him know.
M: Nupur main college jaa raha hun……. Aaj ek exam lena hai isiliye jaa raha hun. Tum apna phone apne pass hi rakhna…. Kuch bhi ho to mujhe phone kar dena. Maine Amba to bulaya hai. Vo rahegi tumhara dhyaan rakhne ke liye…….
N: Amba……… akhir le hi aaye na tum use vapis…….. main kaha than a tumse ki vo mujhe nahi pasand hai….
M: Haan Nupur… Jaanta hun par tum hi socha jab baby aayegi to tum to poora time usi ko dogi ghar ka kaam kaun karega. Amba pehle se sab jaanti hai isiliye easy ho jaayega na
Nupur knew that Mayank was making sense but then her hormones were acting up and she just wanted to shout at him. Annoyingly she made faces and acted really angry at him. Mayank just went near her, made her face him and kissed the tip of her nose.
M: Apna khayal rakhna ok….. Promise.
Nupurs anger immediately vanished and she just smiled and nodded her head.
Mayank giving an exam to his students…. Suddenly his cell phone rings. He leaves the classroom leaving an invigilator there.
M: Hello…
Amba: Saab….. Madam ko takleef horahi hai … Unhe hospital leke jaana padega….
M: Theekh hai….. main sab intezaam kar doonga tum bas uske pass hi rehna.
Mayank leaves and while in his car calls the hospital and sends an ambulance home. He runs into his house to see Nupur in pain and hears the ambulance. They put Nupur on a stretcher and take her to the hospital.
Doc: Mayank she will be fine. Don't worry.
He is waiting outside the OT when suddenly the nurse comes to him with a bunch of forms. She tells him that because the umbilical cord is now around the baby's neck they have to do a caesarean operation. He panics at the thought of it, but sings the forms. His worries now increase and suddenly he hears a beautiful voice from inside of the OT. The sound of a baby crying.
The nurse cleans up the baby and gets her out. Mayank asks her how Nupur is. She says she is ok and will take time to come out of anesthesia. She then gives the Baby to Mayank…..The feeling of holding your own child in your arms is heavenly and there is probably no other joy in this world comparable to what you feel then. Tears form in his eyes as he realizes she is his daughter……. His Princess……
He takes his daughter in his arms and goes into Nupur's room. He sits next to her holding her hand. Somehow he feels a little guilty that she had to go through all of this herself and he couldn't really help. Nupur stirred in her sleep …
N: Mayank.
M: Nupur…….. main hoon yahin……. Tum aaram karo.
N: baby……..
M: Beti huyi hai……. Meri princess so rahi hai…….
N: Beti…. Meri beti……… kahan hai………. Use yahan lao na mere pass…..
Mayanks picks up the baby and gives her to nupur. Nupur just keeps looking at the tiny hand and feet. N: Kitni choti hai na…..
M: Obviously Nupur…….. Choti hi hogi na…..
Nupur feels the stitches from the operation hurting now…
N: Mayank dukh raha hai….
Mayank immediately goes near her and tries to make her sit up and be a little more comfortable.
M: Doctor ne kaha hai ki thode din takleef hogi . I am really sorry Nupur.
N: Hayee……. Sorry kyun bol rahe ho…….
M: Main tumhari koi help nahi kar paaya…..
N: Chalo……….. aaj ek baat to pata chali………. Mera asar ho gaya tum par…… Filmy hogaye ho bahot. Pagal ho kya Mayank tum meri help kaise kar sakte ho…… Ye to mujhe hi karna hai na…. Ye ek maa ka farz hai……
M: Chalu hogayi meri fimly biwi……… Ab to bachchi bhi filmy hi hogi, but I promise main tum dono ka bahot bahot khayal rahunga.
M just hugs her from the side with Nupur holding their baby and the scene fades………… Mayank and Nupur live happily together forever and ever and ever.
