Did Aham know that the girl in green was Gopi when he started to follow her?

Yes

What do you think? I say No. He did not know it was Gopi.

Nope. They kissed, and you alluded to a husband/wife relationship. If they were boyfriend/girlfriend and he had been 'ripping her bodice' then maybe... I think even young, impressionable minds know that people kiss, and grown ups are in bed together. They may not want the gory details, but then, neither do I. That's what hubby is for.😆
