😛 The thing is, the Bachchans wouldn't come across as so boring and so insufferable if only they weren't so damned smug. They reek of smugness, which others like the Roshans, the Kapoors etc camouflage rather well. We all know they are privileged and blessed and famous and super rich and super beautiful, so when the on one hand trumpet the wonderfulness of their life and then in the same breath speak about how they are just a normal family, it becomes a little impossible to buy it.

Life, for normal people, is difficult, is hard, can sometimes be a downright bitch, is all about sacrifices and compromises and striking a balance. Family life, especially married life, is far from perfect. Which is why the Bachchans' happiness doesn't resonate well with us normal people. We don't believe it because we KNOW that life just CANNOT be that perfect for ANYONE. I'm not saying they should start dissing their family and wash their dirty linen in public, but they could definitely cease to paint this picture of perfection about their family.

I mean, wouldn't it be far more plausible if they say, "Yeah, we have problems too, and we deal with them the same way everyone deals with their problems. At the end of the day, when you know that you love your spouse enough to not let these problems get the better of you, that's when you know you're married the right person, that your marriage is a success" than say "we're blessed, life hasn't changed at all, I love my in-laws to death, we're so happy, we can't get enough of each other, my wife looks spectacular, yada yada"?

KWK first episode was a big bore. Even Karan, to me, seemed lost. Poor guy doesn't usually shoot such bad episodes. LOL.

As someone said in the earlier pages, he compromised A LOT for the great and wonderful and perfect and super awesome and bla bla Bachchans!

when i see shahrukh- gauri, hrithik-or akshay-twinkle...i see succh normalcy. ya they are all rich, so they dont have financial issues. But when they come together as couples, u see them talking about their battles, everyday life which is not all hunky-dunky. Shahrukh always talks about how Gauri gets mad at some of his publicity stunt or his big mouth. Same case with Akshay and Hrithik.

ok am watching...was Abhi forced to say "look at her she's hot"???? Since when guys don't cheat because their wives are hot...and Aish "He's so fun..." ok we get it....you love each other to death...and you're the perfect match...hmmm *rollseyes*
