the only thing here is that the question was why you are not doing performance oriented roles she says I can do those anytime I want then contradicts herself & says its RK fault as far as I know RK films are not performance oriented there was one Raajneeti other than that he is doing the same crap she is doing. IMO she is surrounded by people who make her what she is. I remember she said once that her mom and family would prefer that she do movies like KI over say Chameli. So if the people who are important to her give importance to blockbusters over good movies she will obviously be influenced by them. After that she just makes up excuses - very dumb ones to justify her decision. That arrogance is a turn off really but I think its a coverup for her insecurity.

But i told this to mom and she told "who cares..so what if she's not the nicest person"...those were her exact words in gujju and then she explained that as audience member she doesn't care how insensitive or instable kareena is..as long as she delivers b/c at the end of day to her kareena is an A-list star who knows how to act!! I guess my mom was a valid point, but she doesn't like hearing anything bad about stars..she just wants to pretend all them are sweet and humble human beings!!!

Sorry, just had to make that rant. I'm not quite sure what everyone is going on about though. I don't really see how this interview is different from the interview she had with Anupama or well, any of her other interviews. She still said that her role in G3 is something no other Indian actress has done (because we all know playing a tomboy in a commercial film is such a rare thing for an actress to portray. I mean, obviously Kajol never played such a role in KKHH. And obviously, Kareena herself never played a tomboy in JWM). And as far as I can tell, she always has the air of being one of the better actresses in the industry which well...she is. But apart from the above two statements, I don't really see what's so terrible about anything she said.
