lol...I guess that Bharti's father is portrayed as so desparate because he knows that his daughter has a major shortcoming and that throwing money in the grooms face is the only way to get him to say yes. The fact that irks me is this man has no self-respect or any respect for his daughter. I mean, he's a damn hypocrite, he says he has confidence in Bharti yet he is so ashamed of her stature that he is ready to beg at peoples feet so she can be married. Its so undignified and cheap...🤢. And trust me, her mum is just a show piece, comes and stands in the frame and gives that one classic "rudali" expression and walks off. *yawn*

PS:forgot to mention.OG wears a stole instead of a dupatta.it hasnt started flying yet.
