Standing on either side of the bed, Maan and Geet stare into each others eyes as Sameera looks on. From the looks of it, geet looks confident but Maan looks torn. He observes them for a while and then a smile takes over her as she says âŚ
Sam: tum toh meri poori baat sune bagair hi chale gaye MâŚ
Maan doesn't look at her âŚ
Sam: aur Geet .. tumhare chehre ko dekh kart oh aisa hi lag raha hai ke tum meri baat maan gayi âŚ
Maan is silent and Geet looks away âŚ
Sam: cool, toh kab kare shaadi?
Maan: Sameera ⌠rest karo âŚ

Geet tries to stop her but sameera is like .. no lemme speak âŚ
Sam: Maan Singh Khurana ye .. Maan singh Khurana wo . tum chahte ho, ke log kahe, maan singh khurana kitna great hai, usne ek marte hue ladki se shaadi karli, aur uspe humdardi dikhayi âŚ.
Maan: Stop it! Main tumse koi shaadi nahi karna chahta .. aur na hi karoonga âŚ.
Geet is shocked at the tone in which he has said this âŚ.
Sam: mujhe pata tha ⌠aur yehi baat main tumse kelehelwaala chahti thi âŚ.agar shaadi ki karni thi mujhe, toh main yahan se kabhi jaati hi nahi M âŚaur tab na tumhare zindagi main Geet, aur naahi ye confusionsâŚ.
Maan: (calming down) Sameera ( he comes close to her and sits on the chair and takes her hand) ⌠kaafi samajhdaar ho gayi hoâŚ
Sam: I know .. right?
Maan: aur ab baatien karna band karo .. aur rest karo âŚ
Sameera smiles, Maan looks at her and smiles, and all this while Sameera's hands are in Maan's. Geet looks away, and Maan slowly slips his arm out and says ⌠main bad main au?
Sam: ruko na Guys .. Geet ⌠tum bhi .. please âŚ
Geet turns around and smiles âŚ
Sam: main koi vamp nahi hoon Geet .., jo tumhare zindagi ko kharab karne aayi hai ⌠yes I still love M .. lekin tumhe pata hai ⌠mujhe shayad ab pata chala, ke jaane ka faisla leke maine sahi kiya ⌠agar main nahi jaati, wo tumhe nahi milte⌠aur I am serious when I say this, I am very jealous of you ⌠kyunki tumne M ke life main wo jagah banali hai .. jo shayad, main kya kabhi koi ladki bana nahi payegi âŚ
Geet smiles âŚ
Maan: err.. main jaa raha hoon ( embarrassed) .. doctor se milke aata hoonâŚ
As he leaves Sameera looks at Geet and says ⌠"Geet, I know this is weird, but can I get a hug"
Sameera hugs geet and starts crying bitterly âŚ. " Geet mujhe marna nahi hai ⌠it feels horrible, main tumhe kaise samjhau .. mujhe jeena hai ⌠"
Geet: Sameera .. pata hai Maan sir humesha kya kehte hai ? maan sir kehte hai .. ke kuch faisle takdeer humare liye karti hai âŚaur hume unhe maan lena chahiye ⌠aur fir kisne kaha hai ke tumko aise dukhi hone ko ⌠agar tum humare Hoshiarpur main hoti na, main tumhe par roz kheto main le jaati, subah ki roshni sehat ke liye acchi hoti hai ⌠aur fir hum jharne ke paas jaake gaane gaate, aur paani main khelte âŚ
Sameera looks admiringly at Geet.. and she smiles âŚ
Sam: main dekh rahi hoon M tumhe itna pasand kyun karta hai ⌠tum bahut acchi ho Geet âŚ
Geet smiles âŚ
Sam: accha geet .. tum mere liye ek kaam karogi?
Geet: kya ?
Sam: mere liye shaam ko achaar aur roti laogi ⌠hospital ka khaana khaa khaa ke tak gayi hoon âŚ
Geet: magar âŚ. Aapke sehat ke liye âŚ
Maan enters just then .. and is pleasantly surprised to see Geet and Sameera get along and talk to each other sweetly ..
Maan: chale Geet .. doctor ne kaha hai Sameera ko rest karna chahiye .. aur Sam, kam bola karo âŚ
Sameera makes a face âŚ
Geet waves to her, and hugs her as well, much to Maan's surprise, and as she reaches the door, Sam says âŚ
Sam: M tum mujhe hug karke bye nahi karoge âŚ
Maan looks at Geet though trying to convey, he didn't intend to âŚ
Sam: oh my god! Don't tell me .. iske liye bhi Geet ⌠chalo jao ⌠bhaksh dia âŚ
They leave as Sameera smiles, but tears roll out of her eyes ..
As Maan and Geet come out, Geet asks Maan⌠" doctor ne kya kaha"
Maan: bas ab kuch aur din âŚ. ( maan's behavior doesn't indicate he doesn't like the idea one bit)
Geet: hume sameera ko ghar le jaana chahiye âŚ.
Maan: ghar?
Geet: Haan .. ghar ⌠yahan rahegi toh bahut depress ho jayegi ⌠hume usey ghar le jaana chahiye, taakey use lagey wo apno ke beech hai .. uske liye wo sab karna chahiye jo ussey accha lagey⌠aap samajh rahey ho na âŚ
Maan looks at Geet admiringly wondering how this girl has so easily accepted and befriended someone from his past, while he himself wasn't able to look at Dev in the same light ever since he had known he had been a part of Geet's life.
Geet walks forward and realizes he is still standing there admiring her. Mahi plays. She shakes his head, as though asking him what it is. He says nothing. She walks back to him, slips her arm into his and they walk out of the hospital.
Maan and Geet do bring Sameera home. They do everything to make her happy. They get her, her favorite movies, they take her out, and they do everything she wants for her.
On one night, like this, Sameera calls GeetâŚ.
Sam: Geet ⌠please mere room main aao abhi âŚ
Gauging from the voice Geet thinks its something serious. She rushes to the room, but she notices Sameera all dressing up. She is wearing a party dress, and there is nothing one lying on the bed.
Geet: sameera! Tum theek toh ho na?
Sam: haan Geet ⌠yeh lo dress.. pehenlo âŚ
Geet: ( it's a long skirt and a sleeveless top) yeh? Iss waqt?
Sam: Haan ⌠jaldi ⌠M aata hi hoga âŚ
Geet: Maan sir? Lekin hum jaa kahan rahey hai?
Sam: disco âŚ.
Geet: disco?
Sam: haan ⌠mujhe aaj jaane ka man kar raha tha âŚ
Geet: nahi sameera .. hum disco nahi ja sakte ⌠bahut raat ho gayi hai âŚ
Voice: log disco, raat ko hi jaate hai âŚ
Sameera and geet turn to look at Maan âŚ
Geet: Maan sir aap bhi âŚ.
Maan: darti kyun ho geet .. main hoon na tumhare saath âŚ
Sam: wow ! how cute ( almost bordering on teasing and sarcasm) ⌠ab M humare liye bahar wait karo ⌠hum aa rahey hai âŚ
A while later, Maan Singh Khurana, Geet and Sameera are on their way to a disc, Maan keeps throwing glances at Geet while Geet smiles back and Sameera sits in between and observes them âŚ
Sam: tum dono kabhi baat karte bhi ?
Both of them are embararsed âŚ
Sam: jab se hum iss gaadi main baithey hai ⌠kabhi Maan tumhare taraf dekhta hai .. aur kabhi tum uski taraf âŚ
The car jerk stops as Geet and Sameera look at Maan ..
Maan: aa gayi âŚ.
As they are entering the place, Maan is talking on the phone, and he says âŚ" thank you very much ⌠pucca na? alrightâŚ."
As they enter the place, Sameera and Geet are surprised⌠there is not a single soul âŚ
Sam: M .. yeh kya hai?
Geet looks at Maan, who has a straight face.
Maan: disc hai âŚ
Finally at a corner there is a DJ and he waves at them ⌠Sam smiles âŚ
Sam: baaki log kahan hai ?
Maan: sab ghar chale gaye âŚ
Geet gives Maan a disapproving look âŚ
Sam: ab main dance kaise karoongi .. enjoy kaise karoongi âŚ
Maan: hum hai na âŚ
Sam: M ..!!! I don't believe you âŚ. Hum dono dance karenge .. aaj yahan holiday hai kya?
Geet: Nahi!! Lekin inhone karvaya hoga .. haina Maan sir âŚ
Maan: errr⌠haan .. I mean, tum dono, yahan sabke saamne ⌠aise naachogi toh, I mean, jiss tarah ke log yahan aate hai .. acche nahi hote geet âŚ
Sam: Geet ka toh main samajh sakti hoon M⌠par mera kya âŚ
Geet ( imitating maan): Jab tak tum maan Singh khurana ki zimmedari ho .. tumhe wahi karna hoga jo who tumhe kahega ⌠( she trails off looking into the air)
She suddenly feels a few fingers touch hers, and she is embarrassed ⌠she looks at Maan and blushes âŚ
She looks at Maan .. and he looks at her and smiles .. sameera looks at the two of them and giggles âŚ
Sam: waise guys âŚdance kare?
Maan: haan chaloâŚ
Maan stands up and offers both his arms, left to Sam and the right one to geet much to geet's horror âŚ.
Sameera bursts out laughing and clapping her hands as Geet realizes it was Sameera's hand she is holding âŚ
Sam: OMG !!! Geet, tumhe mere aur M ke haath ke beech ka difference pata nahi laga ⌠I cant believe this âŚ
The Dj starts playing some of Sameera's favorite numbers and Geet allows Sameera to dance with maan on her favorite song as wellâŚ
They order foodâŚ
Maan: Sam tumhare liye itna spicy khaana theek nahi hai âŚ
Geet: haan .. main bhi yehi bolne waali thi âŚ.
Sam: just chill guys ⌠let me eat what I want to âŚ
She orders food of her choice⌠and they talk and chat more. When Sameera looks at Geet and she says âŚ
Sam: Geet ⌠tum M ka khayal rakhogi na?
Geet: Sameera yeh kaisa sawaal hai achanak âŚ
Sam: well⌠its just one of those days, you know .. where I am senti ⌠jaane ka time aa raha hai ....
Geet: please SameeraaâŚ..
Sam: aur haan M ⌠tumhe bhi Geet ka acche se khayal rakhna hoga ⌠in dino wo meri bahut acchi dost ban gayi hai .. and I really like her âŚ
Maan: meri ma .. please ⌠apne senti baatien karna band karo âŚ
Sam: okay one last senti baat ⌠and this one's for you Geet âŚ
Geet: bolo na sameera âŚ
Sam: tum bura toh nahi maanogi na?
Geet and Maan exchange looks âŚ
Sam: rehne do âŚ.
Geet: bolo na âŚ
Sam: alright ⌠can I get a hug from M?
Geet doesn't know what to say âŚ.
Sam: maine kaha tha ⌠rehne do âŚ.
Maan: I know sam rehne do âŚ
Geet: arey nahi ⌠aap dono ek doosre ko itne saalon se jaante ho ⌠aur itna gehra rishta reh chooka hai tum dono ka ⌠mujhe nahi lagta kisi ke galey lagna itni buri baat hai âŚ
Maan feels a little odd, but Sam stands up .. and Geet urges him to stand as well⌠Sameera walks towards maan and she hugs him, he hugs her back and pats her on her back platonically .. Maan can feel sam tighten her hug, but he doesn't say anything, but has his gaze fixed at Geet. He doesn't want her to feel odd or awkward. Geet is only smiling.
As Sam moves away, she almost has tears in her eyes and she leans forward to kiss Maan on his forhead. This is when Geet's expression changesâŚ
Sam: sorry guys ⌠!! yeh cheating tha âŚ
Geet doesn't say a thing âŚ
Sam: anyway, main abhi washroom use karke aati hoon ⌠in the meanwhile get the lipstick off your forehead âŚ.
As Sameera walks into the washroom⌠maan looks at Geet as though wanting to explain to her, it wasn't his fault.. She makes a face, as though she is angry at first, and then she says âŚ
Geet: agar aapko lagta hai ke main iss baat se gussa hoon, toh aapâŚâŚ bilkul galat soch rahey hai ..
Maan: kya? Tum gussa nahi ho? Koi aur ladki mujhe kiss karti hai aur tumhe gussa nahi aaya âŚ
Geet: Nahi ( her expression changing now a little)
Maan: main nahi manta, maana ke tumhe mere pyar pe poora yakeen hai .. par.. iska yeh matlab nahi ke koi bhi ladki mere saath kuch bhji kare aur tum chup chaap baitho âŚ
Geet: ( turns away speaking in a hurry comical) accha .. laga ⌠bura laga .. par âŚ
Maan makes her turn towards him, holds her face in his palms and says ⌠" well, tumhe bura laga ya na laga, par mujhe toh bura laga"
Geet looks into his eyes, as he takes her closer and kisses her on her cheek, She blushes, and hugs him. Both of them finally feel happy and at peace. Geet breaks away from the hug in a couple of minutes and says âŚ
Geet: aapko nahi lagta Sameera kuch zyada hi time le rahi hai âŚ
Maan: haan .. usey gaye toh kaafi time ho gaya âŚ.
Geet: main dekhti hoon âŚ.
Geet walks into the washroom and comes back and couple of minutes later looking totally sad and dazed. She is holding something in her hands.
Maan: Kya hua GeetâŚ.
Geet is shocked âŚ
Maan takes the paper in his hands and opens it .. and reads the contents in shock âŚ

The last few days, have been some of the most amazing days of my life. Tum dono bahut hi acche insaan ho ⌠aur jitni positivity tum logo ne mujh main bhari hai .. mujhe kabhi kabhi lagta hai .. kaash mere pass time hota, tum dono ki tarah fir se jeene ka, zindagi ko ek mauka dene ka .. par afsos ⌠I can feel my time nearing.. aur main tum jaise happy couple ko dukhi nahi karna chahti ⌠I really really love you guys âŚ
Geet main jaanti hoon, tumse acchi mere M ke liye koi ho hi nahi sakti .. aur M .. Geet ko kabhi apne se door mat jaane dena .. kabhi bhi nahi .. wo kahegi nahi, par usey tumhari bahut zaroorat hai .. bhale wo apne pyar ka izhaar har baar kare ya na kare âŚ
Ab .. mujhe aur senti nahi hona hai .. main jaa rahi hoon ⌠main yeh nahi chahti ke tum log mere liye dukhi ho ⌠shayad mera maksat tum dono ko milana tha ⌠geet , agar main nahi hoti toh tum maan ko kabhi nahi milti .. always remember that .. aur agar main M ke saath yeh sab ka karti toh aaj M tumse kabhi itna pyar na karta⌠okay I was kidding about the last bit âŚ.
Oh god! I am going to miss you guys ⌠Par ⌠I guess ⌠jaane toh padega hi na .. please don't look for meâŚ
The last few days that I have, I want to do things I want, I want to meet mom and dad! M , apni beti ka naam Sam rakhoge? Nahi na? I knew it .. I was kidding too ⌠Bye ..
