It was one of those moments of life when something shakes inside, knowing that these moments, these minutes are something you are always going to remember in your life. Just that short length of time, those few precious seconds are destined to shape your life, to decide whats going to happen in future, and to some extent to change your perspective towards things. I felt it from within when I saw my wife looking at him, and I knew for a fact that this is what it would always be. No matter what.
I know there's always going to be another man who loves her more than I do. I know there's always going to be another place in her heart just for him, always. Its something I know Riddhima has worked upon, I have worked upon, we together have gone through, but there are a few things in life that go on, without any logic, without any reason, without any explanation.
Its the way they are meant to be. Its the way they are destined to be. Nothing, absolutely nothing can change that.
And today, I, more than ever believe in that fact. If someone, years later asks me about my wife, I would have loved to tell them that am her first priority, her first love, the only one that ever was and the only one that ever would be. But thats not the truth. An honest reply would be that I love her, she loves me. We both love each other. Alot.
But life is not that simple. It hasnt meant to be this way. There will always be this other love in her life, another priority, someone whom she will always worship, and I sigh, knwoing that nothing is as true as this. My wife is undeniably another man's too.
Its this realisation that dawns upon me that Armaan will always love Riddhima, and Riddhima will always love Armaan.
I look at them, their eyes, the love that pours through them, the concern, the pain, the worry, the promise, the magic, and I know I am not wrong.
