You Belong To Me ' Part 20

The morning sun has welcomed into a new day, clearing the sky for the people to enjoy their happiness. Khanak opened her eyes slowly and caught a glimpse of sun light reached into the room through the window. She smiled at her husband who was sleeping next to her, keeping his arm across her waist. She touched her empty stomach which started to growl in hunger as she didn't eat anything last night. She got out of the bed and stopped near the window to look at the beautiful view of the sea at the other side of the hotel before going to take a shower.

'Shantanu, please wake up' Khanak called her husband who was still in deep sleep. He murmured something to the pillow and turned to the other side enjoying his sleep further more. 'Shantanu?' Khanak called him again, by spilling water drops onto his forehead from her wet hair. 'Khanak, you have ruined my beautiful dream' Shaan said turning to her. 'You look beautiful' he murmured and tilted her hand to make her fall on top of him putting the strands of hair away from her face. He touched her ear lobe and removed her earrings and threw them away. Khanak tried to get up but he has trapped her so well under him, she was unable to move.

There was a buzz on the door and Shaan freed her in one go, hating the room service Khanak has ordered a while ago. He covered himself with the bed cover and kept still, not wanting the waiter see him on the bed. 'Good morning ma'am' the waiter greeted as he entered into the room with their breakfast and set it on the table. Khanak closed the door when he left and called Shaan to get ready to have breakfast.

They walked along the beachside in the afternoon enjoying the cool sea breezes and the warm sea water touching their bare feet. Shaan was mesmerized in the beauty of his wife who was dancing ahead of him leaving her fragrance in the air for him to smell and her silky hair waving at him. She called out his name into the thin air that was almost a whisper for him, only he was able to hear it soft and soothing to his ears. They sat down on the beautiful sand there, staring at the waves talking to each other continuously for hours.

'Khanak, I want to see you like that' Shaan pointed at a young lady who walked across the beach in a beach wear. 'No way, never' Khanak refused him directly then and there shaking her head. 'Nevermind, you look better without'' he teased her as he ran into the beautiful sea water to swim. Khanak watched his muscular body moving along the water, sometimes looking up at her, brushing his hair with his gentle fingers. He was so good at swimming and he enjoyed swimming in the beautiful Indian Ocean, in front of his lovely wife.

She stared at him without a single blink, admiring his torso and biceps, which proved how much he loved to keep his body firm and strong. The water drops were still hugging on to his fair skin never wanting to say good bye to his body. His hair was neatly arranged by the water, making him look more innocent and adorable than ever.

Shaan and Khanak finished their honeymoon and returned home on a Wednesday evening surprising their family. 'Shaan beta, you came so soon' Daadi greeted them surprisingly as they were supposed to arrive after two days. She then gave her blessings to both of them and told them to go and get some rest as they arrived after a long journey.

Khanak opened the gift kept on the bed and saw a light green sari attached with a note 'I would love to see you in this sari on your first day to office- Shantanu.' She smiled and looked at the simple yet beautiful sari gifted by her husband. She got ready to go to the office wearing the green sari and placed matching earrings and kept her hair down. 'You look so beautiful with open hair' she blushed remembering his compliment to her when he first saw her with open hair. She looked at her reflection at the mirror for few minutes thinking whether she was ready for the office or not.

Khanak drove to the office with the driver and she tried to hide her nervousness trying to concentrate on the outside view. 'Ma'am, we have reached the office' the driver opened the door for her to get out of the car. She wondered about Shaan, who promised he will be outside waiting for her, as she stepped out from the car.

She opened the door slowly and was shaken a little bit when all the staff started greeting her. 'Good morning ma'am, please come with me, I will show your cabin' Raj helped her to go to her cabin. As he opened the door she widened her eyes and opened her mouth in surprise. The table was full of flower bouquets and on the wall a banner hanged saying 'welcome to the office, Mrs.Shantanu Kandelwal.'Raj closed the from behind as she entered into the room and walked away.

Shaan hugged her from behind surprising her 'welcome to the office, my beautiful wife. You look fabulous in this sari and thank you for wearing it for me' he said congratulating and complimenting on her beauty.

Thank you Ruky...It was short because I had to rush as it's too late and didn't want to include Natasha and the rest today.....just wanted to write her first day at office...will write soon

i dont think its short there is a lot of detail gone into it dont matter abut natasha i loved the romance and will wait patiently for the next part
