Maan's POV

i have not forgotten you geet. i never could have. I still wait for the day when you will return.

Maan walked into his cabin. Blank, in a crappy mood as always. He looked at the messed up files at the table and looked angrily at sasha who stood at the door in her mini dress.

"Fine!" He said examining one of the files on his desk... Who the hell is this client? he wondered....
"Sasha!" He called...
"yes mk?!" sasha replied who was about to leave the office...
"What is the name of the client?!"
"Woh toh tab hi pata chale ga jab unka plane yahaan land karega..."

Geet's POV-

The only reason i'm going back to that place to work with K.contructions is only for mehta uncle. I don't know how i'll face you maan. But i know i have to.

She landed in delhi with her daughter. It was 12 in the morning and geet could feel her heavy head. Her stomach twisted and twirled and she silently prayed "babaji! please, just this time. give me courage to face up to him. That's all i need right now!"

The day had been tiring, and since it was sunday, geet spent it sleeping. Mr.Mehta had arranged everything for geet in delhi.... A house maid, a car, a driver, a big mansion.

"It used to mine.... i used to live in delhi with my family... my wife and my kids." he used to say whenever geet asked about his family.
"I miss them terribly." He used to say... obviously. Like geet missed her mom, her dad. Her little brother. But with Mr.Mehta the case was very different. He was an old aged man... and he had lost his wife and kids in a plane crash.. "you are the only one i have now" he used to say with a pained smile.

Geet felt much more comfortable with him. After pinky's dad, he was one of the most understanding. Almost fatherly.

Maan walked into dadi's room. And silently sat beside her bed. She was awake...
"Dadi..." maan said... in almost a whisper...
"maan!" She said getting up...
"dadi! please mat utho. You don;t look well. I called the doctor for you..."

"I'm fine maan. How are you?"
maan chuckled a surprised chuckle. "I am always fine."
"no you are NOT maan. " Dadi said firmly.
"I know you threw dev out of the house when u came to know about what he had done with Geet. But u never bothered telling her that the guys who ruined her life is served justice. You returned without even letting her look at you maan. This is not you. You should have fought for what was yours..."

"and what if she didn't come back dadi?! What if she had another guy with her?! who she loved the most?!" maan almost shouted... tears in his eyes...
"You are giving up before trying Maan. Don't do this."

"i wish i could have changed things dadi. But that is not in my power..." Maan said, leaving the dark room and his dadi....
