Hats off GC, kudos to u!! I wholeheartedly agree no one & I mean NO ONE is at par with u in TV industry!! And DD u outdid urself today, both of u like always complimented each other.
Since today its very late & I am too busy & tired I will jot down some important points. Nissar & CV's pls take a bow, what an excellent landmark episode again! I was spellbound watching it!! Seriously I will say there is hardly any show that is at par with Geet now. No melodrama, no unnecessary uncanny music in important scenes, no zoom in of every Tom & Dick & Harry in the scene, no physical or verbal abuse..........I can't express in words how much I loved it.
The characters were consistent all throughout! I can so so see Maan & Geet reacting the way they did! I predicted it last week how furious Maan would be for the first couple of days & if love is blind then so is wrath! He won't be able to see through any of the logical perspective till his shock, surprise & rage subsides & only after that he will connect the dots from HP days to the present time & then only will be able to see through Geet's plight & pain! And once he does he is going to open his heart & soul to welcome her in his life without any hesitation. That is Maan! But his character is such that the first emotion that comes to him to deal with anything is wrath & that is what he is going through now. And when he is like this all we can say for him is ''Come not withing the measure of my wrath''!!
To him Geet's being pregnant is not the issue but the fact that she kept it away from him is the crux of his problem. He can't tolerate falsehood & deceit & at this moment all he can think of is he is again deceived & cheated in love. And that he just can't let go! He feels the myth of honesty & truth he saw in her eyes has been broken & thus all he is seeing is RED, a rage that is enveloping his very being!
I loved the way he asked her again what did u say & on her mentioning again about her pregnancy he just leaves her hands slowly, looks at the ring symbolising their eternal circle of love & walks back out. Not a word, not any reaction but that blank frozen look which hardened into black pots of coal reflecting how shattered & shocked he was. I loved that gesture of his finger, the way he stopped her & then turned back to leave! That is what I had expected him to do, just walk quietly away hurting badly! And Nissar u gave us that. 👏
Gurmeet all throughout u shone like the bright North star in the episode, guiding us all through this tumult & turbulence. Everyday I am seeing the depth of ur talent in acting & I am experiencing bountiful respect for u to portray Maan so effortlessly & correctly! U brilliantly portrayed Maan's
stoned facade that failed to conceal the tumult of his mind.
If Gurmeet was spellbinding then so was Drashti today!! The way she portrayed her helplessness & hurt to Maan when he left her was so heartbreaking! A girl's pain at a tender age that too for no fault of hers! She today took my breath away with her resolution to pursue Maan & make him listen & understand her story! Her self talk with Babaji was so emotional! Seriously all she had seen so far is neglect, humiliation, torture & torment from her near & dear ones. And when finally she was near to tasting the true love of her life out comes her truth & she is left hanging out there holding onto nothing.
But the commendable fact was even her failure to achieve that love didn't stop her from pursuing Maan & tell him the truth! Really Geet kudos to u! She for once didn't say why did I have to tell him the truth but on the contrary her reaction to him was truth & honesty is everything to him & he is EVERYTHING to me!! Any day he would have been upset hearing this & I will have to fix this situation by telling him the whole truth! How glorious is that! No holding back but making up her mind to make him her own, to keep him in her life, to taste that love he offered. Bravo Geet, amazing personality & determination! That is how we wanted her to be, strong & tenacious! She won't give up & neither would we want her to! Again we knew she will react this way to uphold her life, honor, decision & love for both the baby & Maan! She will not fall in love but will rise from it & along with her she will also make Maan rise in love! She will bring out Maan from his shell out in this world & will soften him & make him experience the love, joy & happiness that he deserves! In the story she is the North star guiding Maan along sailing in the right direction!
All along Maan had that primitive raw appeal but today we witnessed it on that cliff! He had to let go of the steam burning him inside, to scream to the world of the blemish he has suffered today, to question God about the injustice he had faced in the hands of fate, why the love that he craved for was not reciprocated, why the truth, trust & honesty in his love have been besmeared.............that one soul wrenching cry brought all this out in the open! Beautiful Nissar!! Every moment I was mesmerised to the screen.
Later Geet's persistence to come looking for him & finally seeing him in that devilish form of workout was again a splendid touch. We all know 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' but today we saw otherwise! Hell hath no fury like a man scorned......he proved it!! He had no control over himself, he wanted to feel hurt in all possible way so that he can forget the hurt his heart & soul was facing! Thus that blinding rage to overcome the mental pain & physically hurt himself so much so that the physical pain subsides the ache in the heart! We knew Maan would be hurting exactly like this & more so not only because of himself but because of Geet & her pain as well. That breaking of the bench gave me a serious fright, almost made me jump out of my skin!! I can imagine what Geet must have gone through.
And also it was known how he would try to keep Geet away from him, to tread far away to the other side of world, to bring the entire universe in between them & yet he was helpless in the hands of his heart which knew nothing but memories & moments of Geet! Not only Geet in person but her memories kept haunting him.
When Maan closed the door on her face her determination again deserves a standing ovation, if not today then tomorrow she would tell him! His attitude didn't deter her decision & courage to tell the whole truth to Maan.
I will purposely evade Dev today because his unnecessary following Maan around to confide made no sense to me other than his flaunting his bike & attire & share some screen space with the main lead!!
The next office scene was also a show stealer to me!! MSK back in his old shell of heartless & ruthless temperament almost on the verge to kill anyone crossing his path was a treat to watch, reminded me of old days. Again this was expected from him. He will be jumping down on every one's throat for nothing was also expected. And that grand entry like always floored me!! 😃 Poor staff!!
Again Geet's persistence was commendable, seeing him in that mood still didn't falter her courage! And she very nicely went back to 'Maan Sir' knowing she has lost the right to be called his soul mate right then. Even Maan's ignoring her to royalty didn't deter her in her mission. But his wound did that to her, then she got restless salvage his wound.
Even that scene when she was almost falling holding on to his hand made me happy! He didn't take away his hand from her but only after she was ok & apologised to him he snatched it away! Her apology in holding him made him more furious than her holding on to him. I loved, not for once, Maan insulted her verbally in private or in front of everyone. That is again his love for her which is making him react like this but right now he is too blind to even see through that!
Precap I will talk about tomorrow since they r usually misleading! But this attitude of Maan will remain till tomorrow I think & if Geet really falls then I think he will be the first one to come to her aid & once that ice breaks he will come around soon as well.
Nissar its difficult to create a character like MSK & its more difficult to maintain that character being true to his character & u achieved to do just that! And not only this u have made us understood his character so well that now we can even anticipate his actions, reactions & behaviour!! We can relate to him & not only him even Geet's character u have built in such a way that we can relate to exactly why, when, where & what she will do & how!! This is not an easy task but u accomplished this humongous task so smoothly.
I am happy I know my characters here & can totally understand where they r coming from.
I just read Doodle's analysis & like always u r absolutely bang on target! Yes Nissar we would definitely like to see the acceptance of Maan first as far as Geet is concerned without any condition & then later u all can bring the confrontation of Dev & Geet. Or else it might look like Maan is forced to accept Geet because of what his brother did to her, kind of making amends. No we don't want that, we want & need to see his unconditional love & support for her once he hears the whole story from her sans Dev's name. The consummation I won't mind if it comes after Dev-Geet confrontation.
And Doodle in ur entire analysis only thing I differ with, Maan is not someone who jumps into conclusion fast, no if he is proactive then he thinks 100 times before doing or saying anything. The only drawback is his anger which is always at the tip of his nose but no way I can call him impulsive in arriving in any decisions or conclusions. The way he is reacting now can happen to any sane logical person & they too would react & think the same way.
And Nissar another praiseworthy feature were the apt flashbacks all throughout. I loved all of them right from HP days to the current time.
Today's episode was fantastic! Keep up this good work!
