Alright kiddo, ready for your first dozen. Here is my first set just as I have committed to torture every MOTW
1) Recipe for disaster: You have seen it before. You have tasted it. Now is your time to cook it. Pick one of your most favorite dishes and then serve it to us hot and spicy with all chopped and sliced members as ingredients.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cornstarch(WA)
3 pounds chicken*(TNF)
1/4 cup water(RTH)
1/4 cup dark soy sauce(Summer ji)
1 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger(MS)
1 teaspoon white pepper(Mister K)
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic(Gauri ji)
1 egg(SVCL)
1/2 cup dark soy sauce
1 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup white vinegar(OBJ)
1 cup salad oil (BI ji)
1/4 cup cooking sherry(angie ji)
2 cups sliced green onions(Meena ji)
1 1/2 cup hotchicken broth(shak bhai)
16 small hot dried peppers(krystal sis)
1 tablespoon MSG -- (SJB ji)
3/4 cup refined sugar(POH)
Directions:
*Dark deboned in chunks
I divided recipe portions (above) to make it easier to pre-prepare. To make Sauce, mix WA and RTH together. Add Gauri ji , MS, POH, Summer ji, OBJ and Angie ji. Then add Shak Bhai and SJB ji and stir until POH dissolves. Refrigerate until needed. In separate bowl mix TNF, Summer ji and Mister K. Stir in SVCL. Add WA until TNF is coated evenly. Add BI to help separate TNF pieces. Divide TNF in small quantities and deep-fry @ 350 until crispy and light brown. (Do not overcook; watch temp, stir fry or meat will toughen). Drain on Empti Bhai(paper towels). Place a small amount of BI in Cloddy Bhai(wok) and heat until just hot. Add MS and Krystal Sis and stir-fry briefly (Krystal Sis will give off acrid smoke..be careful). Stir Ice-Thinker(sauce); add to Cloddy Bhai. Add TNF and cook just 'until Ice-Thinker thickens.
Add RTH or RTH/WA if needed.
Serve with SolidSnake(white steamed rice).
