Mayank, a guy who have done MBA, was coaxing his family to send him London for some higher studies, he used to chat with a girl, ID black beauty, he was somehow attracted towards girl, and one day she showed him her pic along with two friends. That girl was Suhaani, whose two friends were Nupur and Dia. They are medical students, One fine day Mayank saw the trio outside college and fall in love with a girl, Nupur, love at first sight, who according to him was the Black Beauty. Then circumstances let them meet for the first time and Mayank went to London after meeting Nupur once, and taking promise that she would wait for him. But when after 3 years he came back, Nupur was engaged to someone, who happened to be Mayank's room mate in London. Mayank was really heartbroken coz he had always loved Nupur and Nupur only, he wanted to get Nupur in his life at any case so he kidnapped her and made her sign marriage certificate. Nupur was not willing to do this, but having no option left she signed. Nupur never loved him before but now she started feeling something for him, getting to know who real Mayank is, though first she used to be get scared of him. Now she loves him coz he is her husband. No one is aware of Mayank and Nupur's marriage except Nupur's friends Dia and Suhaani. And on other side Sameer and Nupur's marriage date is getting final.

Chapter 21


"What's wrong with you, Nupur?" Dia asked, confused at the way Nupur was behaving. Since morning her behaviour was weird with everyone; she was getting irritated, peeved and hyper on trivial things, even at the hospital staff. Definitely something was disturbing her and she must have had an argument with her mum. Otherwise she was the sweetest creature with every possible person around. Suhaani and Dia were trying to make out what could have happened and reach to different hypothesis but actual reason only Nupur knew.

"Dia, please, I am telling you na I don't wanna talk to anyone now." She groaned and stopped to heave a breath to calm her down. "Please Dia, tum jao abhi."

Dia looked towards Suhaani and who simply shrugged oblivious to reason of Nupur's uneasiness.

"Listen Nupur! U can tell us, after all what's that disturbing you. Is it something about Mayank? Uss ne phir se kuch kia?"

"Nahi Dia, he didn't do anything" She spoke irritably and added under breath. "And only this is the problem, he didn't do anything yet."


"Aunty ne kuch kaha?" Suhaani came up with another possibility. Nupur didn't say anything, not even opposed so that was it, something has happened between her and her mum.

"So yehi problem hai, would u care to tell now, reason of your stupidity?"

"Excuse me Doctor Dia and Suhaani, you both need to report at emergency ward and Dr. Nupur patients are waiting for check up in general ward as Dr. Shishank isn't in hospital at the moment." A nurse came to call them before Nupur could tell them anything. Moreover she was not in mood to talk but Dia and Suhaani both were bugging her a lot to tell them the reason of her being so upset. That was what she hated about her friends, whenever she wanted to be alone, her friends would never leave her alone until making her smile, though sometime she had to fake the smile. And also the reason that they both were her best friends who cares a lot for her and treat her as her sister even more than that.

"We are leaving now, but don't you think we would leave you like this, get ready with reasons you are gonna tell us for having an argument with aunty" Dia said moving towards door with Suhaani but stopped at door to look back at Nupur and said after a while "Though I know what it could be."
Nupur heaved a sigh, and closed her eyes leaning at the back of chair as they both went out of her office, both Dia and Suhaani permanent place after duty hours along with Nupur.

"I am damn sure it's about her marriage thing with Sameer but will have to ask k aakhir actual main hoa kia ha?." Both dia and Suhaani were passing through corridor of hospital, talking to each other, only to dash with Mayank.

"Hey Suhaani, Dia, whats up guys?" Mayank said recognizing both friends of Nupur.

"Oh Mr. Sharma, what are you doing here in our hospital." Suhaani asked being amused at Mayank's being in hospital.

"Well, I thought you knew what hospitals are for, aren't you." Mayank said, smiled.

"Of course I am pretty much aware but how come you here?" Suhaani winked naughtily. Mayank chuckled at her question."

"Well Mr. Mayank we are in hurry right now, but we suggest you not to go where you are willing to." Dia said, as she tried to drag Suhaani with her.

"Kia main poch sakta hun what is the reason of so much solicitude?" Mayank asked knitting his brows, mused but confused why they were saying him not to meet Nupur yet.

"Of course, you can, Mr. Sharma." Dia smiled. And Suhaani completed her sentence, "That's because of the horrible mood of Mrs Nupur Sharma."

Mayank laughed out but happy listening Nupur's name as Nupur Sharma. Everything seems so complete being Mayank and Nupur's called as one. "Thanks for your concern but I guess I am pretty much used to Nupur Sharma's horrible mood." Mayank said with satisfied smile on his visage.

"Well best of luck then." Dia said and headed farward with Suhaani by her side. They were happy for Nupur and Mayank too. It was obvious how much Mayank loves Nupur and even now they were aware of Nupur's developing feelings for Mayank.

Nupur was sitting in her office, her head resting in her palms, with elbows on the table. She was being worried about her morning conversation with her mum, she was really rude to her mum but she couldn't help. What her mum was saying she just couldn't do that. Her mum was telling her that today Sameer's parents were coming to decide the date of her marriage and she wanted Nupur in home. Nupur simply denied to stay in home saying to have an important surgery in hospital. Her mum as always found something fishy so strictly asked out what her problem was, Nupur always had behaved like this whenever someone from Sameer's family came and even don't attend their phone calls. And in all this conversation she told her mum clearly that she didn't wanna marry anyone. Though she wanted to tell her about Mayank too but that was really difficult even impossible for her as only she knew what was her mum's condition was after hearing that she didn't want to marry Sameer. Her life was getting difficult with every passing day.

"Buhat ho chukka Nupur, maine tumhien har baat ki azaadi de rakhi hai, iss ka matlab yeh nahi tum apni life ko hi as a joke lo gi. Shaadi main kuch hi din reh gayye hain aur tum keh rahi ho tumhien shaadi nahi karni. Aaj k baad aisi koi baat sochney ki bhi zarorat nahi tumhien. Aaj Sameer k ghar wale aa rahe hain, tumhari aur Sameer ki shadi ki date final ho gi Aaj hi"

Again and again her mum's words were echoing in her mind and were making her go insane. She was feeling as if someone was pressing her skull with mallet. She was trying to think what to do now, how to tell her mum and baba about her and Mayank's relation. Why the hell Mayank wasn't doing anything? What he want to do now by creating so many problems in her life, this all was happening only because of Mayank. It wasn't that she was cursing him for coming in her life; she also knew that Mayank was not less than a bliss in her life but the way he did all this was not right, because it was only Nupur who had to face everything and everyone. She was lost in her own thought, getting apprehensive when suddenly got up to go in general ward for her duty because her head was paining thinking bout all this, she knew she will have to talk to Mayank about this, thats it. No option had left for her now.

Mayank was infront of Nupur's office, thinking twice should he enter or not? What if she would pour out all her anger on him as always? But he was Mayank after all, putting aside all thought, he smirked and raised his collar assuring himself that nothing is impossible for Mayank Sharma and he knows how to make her smile and how to vanish her anger.

Mayank heaved a deep breath and pushed the door inwards only to hear a shout of pain which made him realize something has happened. At the same time Nupur was also about to pull door inwards and door struck with her forehead badly. For a second Mayank couldn't interpret what happened.

Nupur's was feeling her head spinning because of sudden blow with door and spoke out furiously without looking who opened the door, "By God, Can't you see?" her eyes were closed and her hand was on her forehead, she winced, "Ahhhh, mera sir."

As Mayank saw Nupur holding her head he rushed towards her, spoke out impulsively, "Oh, my........ I am sorry, I am really sorry Nupur........" He said being worried for her like hell and reached out his hands to her forehead. Nupur jerked it off annoyingly as she saw it was only Mayank who hit the door to her forehead.

"Don't you dare!!!!! Are you blind? Tum dekh nahi saktey thy? Ahhhhh, mera sir, mera sir torr diya hai tum ne." Nupur winced in pain but at the same time shouting at Mayank loudly. Mayank was also expecting the same, her pouring our all her anger on him, but he never imagined that it would come out this way.

"Wait, Nupur......." Mayank said trying to see her forehead again, "Nupur, let me see."

"What let you see, that how hardly you have hit me." She bellowed.

"Arey Nupur, I didn't do that intensionally, It was just by mistake........."

"What by mistake, huh? You always want to hurt me, that's it." Nupur said shoving him back while rubbing her forehead. "ahh Mera Sir, Kahin blood to nahi nikal raha?" She pouted and as if was just about to cry, she was behaving like a baby, who can say she was doctor, crying out at small hit.


Mayank was surprised how she was making a small thing such a big issue, but it was fun. "Arey ofcourse blood nikal raha hai." Mayank said hiding his smile as he decided to play along, "Chalo let me see now how much blood have wasted." He moved her hand off her head. "You must have white blood na, red spot to koi nazar nahi aa raha." Mayank mocked and Nupur was steaming. Looking Nupur's glare he continued, "Ok ok, i am sorry, can i help now."

"Noooooo, main khud kar lun gi, but couldn't you see I was at other side of door." Nupur said moving away from him, she actually was little bit short tempered, but sometime even trivial things blow her anger to maxima. Same was happening now.

"If I could see across the door, I surely have waited for you to open it first, but I can't you know." Mayank said making a puppy face, hiding his grin. Nupur saw him making fun of it and yelled even harshly, "But you could have knocked na.........???"

"Point!!!" Mayank said pretending to ponder at what she said and spoke out, "I would knock next time, promise." Moved towards her, and saw her still rubbing her forehead, so asked out, concern reflecting from his eyes, "Zorr se lagi kia?"

Nupur looked at him astonished, she was kneading her forehead since then and flinching due of pain and he still was saying "Zorr se lagi?"

"Nahi to, main to mazak kar rahi thi." Nupur said sarcastically, clenching her teeth and looked away from him.

"Thank God, I thought sach main lagi hai." Mayank said acting relieved and moved towards chair across the table.Nupur mouth hung open at Mayank's carelessness towards her. How he could think she was pretending? She stomped the foot and came towards Mayank,

"Why you came here? Huh?"

Mayank looked towards Nupur, her forehead was bit red from the spot which was hit by door, and a little swollen too. He wanted to caress her forehead to relieve her from pain but she wasn't allowing him to even touch her forehead. Whatsoever it was she forgot all she was worried about a minute ago Mayank came and hit her forehead and now was annoying her with his irritating acts as always.

"Main yahan kion aayan hun?" Mayank spoke looking towards Nupur.

"I think I have also asked the same." Nupur said, smirked, miffed off at his behaviour. Mayank chuckled, got up, moving towards her he spoke out, "Wo actually, kal raat......"

He was about to continue but stopped as he noticed the red crept over her cheeks as she reminded the yesterday's night walk, that dancing in rain and their holding eachother's hands. She was having that wierd kind of feeling in her stomach an abruptly lowered her gaze avoiding eye contact with him. Mayank smiled as he saw her the sudden change in her, from hot red in anger to blushing reminding all what happened yesterday night in their long walk to home. So Mayank spoke

"Kia hoa?"

"Wo, main......." Nupur was fumbling with words as she felt her hands getting and her cheeks turning from warmer to hotter . "Mu...........Mujhy general ward jana hai." She said trying to escape from the place before Mayank mention anything about their long walk.

Nupur passed across him, but Mayank held her hand. Nupur's heart beat quickened at his touch. She was stunned not able to look back at him. Mayank moved upto her and saw her still lowering her gaze not even looking up at him, her hand still in Mayank's grip and with other hand she clenched her dupatta tightly.

"Wo main," he stopped so does Nupur's heart beat, "Wo main tumhien yeh wapis karney aaya tha." Mayank said handing her the keys of her car which she gave him last night to go back home as it was too late.

Nupur darted her gaze from Mayank to keys in her hand and then back to Mayank. Thanking to God he didn't mention anything else. Nupur lowered her eyes, Mayank smiled reminding how she was shouting at him a while ago and now it doesn't even look like she even know how to yell at someone.

There was awkwardness in air, they both were standing few inches apart, silence between the two was making Nupur uncomfortable, realizing this Mayank smiled naughtily and spoke out.

"Arey uncle app? Ayye na....."

Nupur abruptly turned at 180 angle, horrified at what her papa would thinking, looking 'em standing so close. She forgot her father was at home because today Smaeer's family was coming to their home. Though she was thinking a bit far from facts but this was the Nupur, always thinking about the things, what, if, why, how etc etc rather than what is it in present.

She heard Mayank laughing so turned to face him furiously, forgetting all about her uneasiness, all this was what Mayank wanted at the moment, to make her feel comfortable. "What's so funny in it?" She knitted her brows.

"Hmm, nothing, nothing....... Main to bas yunhi........" he again burst out laughing, "look at your face Nupur.......agar uncle hotey bhi, so what? Kia ho jata jo tum itna darr gayi." He chuckled.


"You have returned me keys na, so go now. Mujhy bhi duty per jana hai." Nupur said making faces, nettled at the way he yet again was making fun of her.

But being really unexpected he started again, "Arey wowww Nupur, I just noticed, We have dill se dill ka connection." He winked.

"What?" Nupur asked confused narrowing her brows, confused from where this came now.

"Of course na, look, matching matching. We both black n white." Mayank winked pointing towards his and her clothes. Nupur was wearing churidaar of black n white color so was Mayank in black jeans and white brazier, and white shirt underneath looking as always irresistible. Nupur couldn't help but giggled out at his randomness. Finally she smiled and Mayank was alleviated.

"You look good smiling, Nupur, hasti raha karo." Mayank smiled, making Nupur blush yet again by his compliment.


"Umm, I think you should go now." Nupur said avoiding his gaze at him which was making her uncomfortable yet again."Mujhy general ward jana hai." She said looking away.

"Hmm, so you are blowing me off, am I disturbing you?" Mayank complained. "When did I say this?" Nupur spoke out abruptly. "So I am not disturbing you, that means I can stay here. Right?" He quipped sitting on chair and leaned back, relaxed.

"Now WHEN did I say THIS?" Nupur said as she shut her mouth which was bugged at his self analysis of her words.

"Arey you said right now na? didn't you?"

"No, I didn't." Nupur said cyanicaly, but seeing no reaction she heaved a sigh and continued, "Ok fine, I am leaving then. You sit here and enjoy! ok"

Mayank quickly held her hand getting up from chair as she turned to go.

"Ok ok, fine, main ja raha hun."

"Hmm, good for you." Nupur commented as she unknowingly caressed the place where the door hit her. It was less hurting now, but still she could feel something have knocked her forehead badly.

Mayank did notice her touching her forehead, closed his eyes and opened as he leaned towards Nupur, kissed right at the spot where door had hit her on forehead lingereing his lips there for longer, almost two inched above from her eye brow leaving Nupur stunned. She didn't expect Mayank to do this, even in her dream but he was Mayank, unpredictable. Current passed through her being as his lips touched her skin; she closed her eyes by a reflex. Mayamk moved back and looked at Nupur lovingly, who was standing infront of him, her eyes closed feeling the heavenly touch of Mayank. He smiled looking her so close to him, she indeed was world most beautiful girl, his fairy. Her shyness, timidity, her modesty made her even more attractive. Mayank couldn't thank God enough for bringing Nupur in his life, who completes him. Nupur was still standing at same spot, her eyes closed, but she could feel the heat of Mayank's intense gaze at her, which was making her go weak by her knees.

Mayank inched towards her and whispered close to her ear, "Ab dard nahi ho ga!!!"

Nupur opened her eyes as she heard Mayank, so close to her ear. Instantly, she moved back with swept move, looking around shyly, confused, perplexed, her heart beating insanely. Even she couldn't comprehend why his closeness make her go weak by her knees, make her heart beat as it never did before, even at the time of her ever first surgery when she was hell worried.

"Take care, Nupur." Mayank smiled and turned to go. Nupur saw him moving towards door, she wanted to stop him, but why, even she was clueless. Mayank stopped at door and turned around.

"I am really sorry, Nupur, for hurting you." Mayank said, "But trust me, it wasn't intentional."

"Nahiii, its ok." Nupur finally spoke as she heard him apologizing, she she didn't feel good hearing that from Mayank. She wasn't angry at him, not even she could ever in real. "Infact, I mean I am sorry, I was over reacting I guess."

Mayank smiled, and stated, "Of course you were over reacting." Nupur mouth hung open and eyes popped up, he could have atleast say something else then stating back she was over reacting though she knew she was but still.

"And by the way, I am not sorry at all, I was kidding, just wanted you to admit you were indeed over reacting." Mayank laughed out and disappeared from there before Nupur again shout at him. Nupur was standing there, with incredulous look, "You are the limit Mayank." She pouted faking anger, and turned to pick up her stethoscope and lab coat, when Mayank voice again distracted her.

"Arey Nupur, I forgot to say something"

"Now what?" Nupur asked out feigning to be furious folding her arms across her chest.

"That, tum gusse main bhi buhat achi lagti ho." Nupur smiled unknown of fact she was smiling but her visage turned red at his next statement, "And I Love you." He winked showing her his best dimple smile and shut the door leaving a blushing Nupur at other side.

Nupur looked away shyly, though Mayank had said this so many times before too but now it did effect her, now the word seems meaningful, now it did feel like this was all she wanted to hear, now it did create some unknown feeling in her stomach, now it did make her shy.

Her smile suddenly disappeared as her cell rang, showing her mum's name on screen. How could she forget everything, she was to talk about this to Mayank and he came there to meet her, she had a great chance to talk to him about their marriage thing but how come she forgot everything whenever Mayank came infront of her. Now how would she talk to him, the most stupid thing was she hadn't even his cell no. Never she asked nor Mayank gave her his contact number She smacked her hand at table and picked up the call.

"Nupur tm aaj phir late aayi, main poch sakti hun kon? Padma, Nupur's mum asked out, she was worried by Nupur's behaviour now a days towards her in-Laws.

"Mum, I told you na, it was emergency, if you aren't believing me then you can ask Suhani or Dia."

"Mujhy kisi se kuch bhi pochney ki zarorat nahi hai, tumhare papa thori de pehle hi out of town gayye hain, aaj ham ne tumhari shaadi ki date fix kar di hai. Sameer ki family wale chahtey thy shadi jald se jald ho jaaye."

Nupur, for a second felt that ground had shook under her feet. She wasn't able to think what got into her mum to say this.

"Mum, you are kidding? Right?" Nupur managed to say as she get back to her senses.

"Yeh tum ho jo apni shadi ki as a joke ley rahi ho, ham nahi." Padma said annotingly, she still was angry at her due to morning argument and was hoping she won't start again. "Aik week k baad, Sunday ko tumhari aur Smaeer ki shadi ki date final hui hai, mujh to smajh nahi aa raha itni jaldi sab kaise ho ga."

The whole world spun around Nupur, she was feeling her head heavy like anything, standing there like a statue she actually seems like to have forgot to blink even breath.

"Dekho Nupur, main janti hun shadi k baat sun ke tum preshan ho, tumhare papa bhi nahi chahtey thy k shadi itni jaldi ho, lekin Smaeer USA jana chahta hai isliye wo chahtey thy k shadi jald se jald ho jayye." Padma said politely, placing hand over her head, caressing her hair.

Nupur was not able to even move, she was too numb to feel anything, her eyes became moist and words choked in her throat, "Mam..... Mama, aap......" All she could manage to say. Before she could summon up some courage to speak her mum spoke again.

"Tum jaldi se tyar ho jao, Sameer tumhien lene aata hi ho ga, uss k doston ne shadi ki date fix honey ki khushi main aik part di hai tum dono k liye, aur wo tumhien wahan ley kar jana chahta hai." Padma said taking her purse and file from her hands.

Nupur moved a step back, "Mujhy kisi k sath kahin bhi nahi jana" She spoke out loudly protesting to go with Sameer as she realized what her mum was saying. Her mum tried to make her understand calmly.

"Nupur beta, aik haftey main tum dono ki shadi hai, uss se milo gi to uss k bare main kuch jaan pao gi, aaj tak aik dafa bhi uss ki call tak attend nahi ki tum ne." Padma tried to coax her.

"Mama, I am not going anywhere, I am telling you." She bellowed.

"Dekho Nupur, yeh argue ka time nahi hai, main tumhare kapre nikal diya hai, jao aur tyar ho jao. Smaeer aata hi ho ga." Padma said and went upstairs talking her purse and files with her, not waiting for her to say anything else, leaving a lifeless Nupur behind.

She didn't imagined even in her worst dream she will have to face all this today. How she can go with Smaeer to some party, How? She was deceiving so many people, especially her mum and papa, who were most important persons of her life, who were her reason to live. And now Sameer and his family too. How she was gonna tell everyone about her marriage with Mayank? What people will think about her? What her mum, papa's reaction would be? What they will ask why she have done this? Who would believe her? And after all how she will tell 'em this?
Her marriage with Sameer after a week, She plopped on sofa behind her and hidden her face in her palms crying over her fate.

Bas bas bas, itna hi kafi hai aaj k liye, as per ur demand its a LONGER update. And cliffhanger too........🤣 so many questions, what will happen now, But Guys Intazaar is all what you can do......🤣

This was probably the most difficult update for me to write as i was not able to connect with it anymore.

Hina, Jess and many other, you were asking abt Sameer so here he is😉 I think you were missing him.😆 Hina as You said i wrote almost a century ago 🤣 that Nupur and Sameer's marriage is after one month probably as here is it ow after a week.......

Hmm so nups was in tension becoz of her mrg issue with sameer.

she was thinking how to tell the truth oh her n maynks marriage ti her parents.

ye maynk bhi na - alwz try to irritate my nups.

awwwww nups got hurt- and was behaving like just a kid
and our hero enjoying her childishness.

haye Rabi the most beautiful scene was when mayank kissed on her forehead
and after that our nups felt relax and forgot all her pain.
