Chapter 6
"Sir,may I leave now?",Roli asked. "Yes,you may go Miss.Roli",Krishna replied while looking at Pratigya.Roli looked at Pratigya and smiled with an "All the Best"look on her face while Pratigya looked back at her with a slightly nervous expression on her face.
She felt a bit uneasy since she didn't really like the thought of being left all alone with a guy but she thought to herself "Come on Pratigya,stop being such a whoos!This is an office and you have to be very professional,after all he is your boss.So stop being silly and get to work".
Krishna noticed the change of expression on her face and smiled to himself. "Shall we get started Miss.Pratigya?",he asked.Pratigya snapped out of her thoughts and said "Uh!Yes,ofcourse".They went upto his table. "Please have a seat",he said. Pratigya sat down and took a deep breathe.
She took out the files regarding the project and they started discussing about everything related to it.By the time they finished their discussion it was time for lunch. "Well done Miss.Pratigya.I am impressed that you know so much about our project already especially being a new comer.Good job!",Krishna said. "Thank you sir",Pratigya replied back with a satisfied smile. "It's time for lunch,you may take your leave now",he said.She nodded and left his cabin.
She went back to her cabin,walked up to her table and kept the files on it.She sat down with a sigh. "What was that strange feeling I had when I met sir and shook hands with him?Wierd!Whatever it is I better stay away from all these men as much as I can,as if I don't know what they are like",she thought to herself.
There was a knock on her door which made her snap out of her thoughts. Roli peeped in. "Hey Pratigya!It's time for lunch.Let's go to the canteen",she said. "Ok Roli",Pratigya replied as she got up and they both left and made their way towards the canteen.

"What!!?Are you sure Pratigya?You weren't imagining things,right?",Roli asked her again since she was a bit shocked from what Pratigya had told her. "Yes Roli.When I walked in I actually found a boquet of orchids on my desk with a note attached to it",Pratigya replied.
"OMG!!Now we'll get to witness a new twist in your life!Office mein romance,how cool!!",Roli said getting all filmy as usual. "Bakwaas bandh kar Roli!Do you even know what your saying?",Pratigya said annoyed. "You know very well that I want to stay far away from all this faltoo romance and all.All this pyaar vyaar is just bakwaas!",Pratigya said in a harsh and angry tone.
"Sorry Pratigya! I was just kidding",Roli said with an apologetic look on her face.Pratigya sighed and felt bad about being rude to her sweet yet silly friend. "No I am sorry Roli.I shouldn't have reacted that way but you know how irritated I get when we talk about this romance and all na? I am sorry",Pratigya said as the both of them hugged each other. "It's ok I understand",Roli replied.
"I wonder who kept those flowers on my desk",Pratigya wondered.
