1) KANU, I never said I do the same. You are twisting my words. I said if I know how to dish it out, I know how to take it back too. I never said their way of dishing it out is exact same as mine. All I said was I take it back irrespective of how it is dished out and often, it is dished out way too low and below the belt by your dear friends - friends who used to send me multiple buddy requests over a period of time.

I think all the ruckus about details on my looks etc were a take on the couples' story I did on my MOTW. Read that first and then decide whether I did the same or not. There's humor and then there's humor. Can't be equating one to the other just because the take was on looks.

As far as the aanchal issue - since you dragged it here, things went out of hand there because middy did not show class while reacting to what was an innocent pun. She chose to throw eff-bombs left and righat and rest, as they say, is history. This, Kanu, is the difference between Gauri and all of them put together - they like cracking "jokes" but can't take one on them. Hence the desperation.

Since you dragged anchal comment here let me ask you one question - are you defending TNF because she is not the real author? Is she the ghost author? If not, then you should not be bothered for her taking the fall for what she herself wrote. No point in dragging empti to justify what TNF herself submitted for the contest.

2) Horse's vision once again! Chek that thread out, KANU. TNF herself went around calling herself "nangi". She started it and she kept that chain going. Only her friends joined her on those nangi rants. None of the other DMers were part of it and none of us called her nangi.

3) Just a few nuggets below - should show you who called who what. Wonder how you could use such rants as a defense for her! And why do you need to defend her? I don't think she needs to defend her thought process to anyone out here. Similarly, I do not think that any one aho objected to that thought process need to defend their objections to any one else here.

This is what you were talking about - she is not only enjoying this line of convo, she is contributing to it too. Wonder why you are so offended by it!!!

4) her own words once again - she seems quite fond of the words like nanga, nangi, rape etc. How is that other DMers fault?

5) And mind that, that was not the only thread where she went on with her nanga nangi rants. She does that a lot when she is spamming with her friends. Why would you use something that she loves pasting here as a defense is beyond my comprehension! But the least you can do is to give us all a guilt trip for something she posts all the time.

For the rest of your post, try being here more often and read what goes on here and then form your opinions. If you don't want to see both sides, then be my guest and form your opinions only on what is fed to you BUT spare us your judgment that you form based on backbiting from your "friends".

1) Please do not misconstrue or misinterpret my words out of context here. I am expressing my remorse here. Some very neutral and fair members of DM like Angie and Mister. K have been hurt or found offense in this story. Maybe it is just me; but I would have felt terrible if what I posted garnered this reaction from people. I have absolutely no problems with the author. In fact it was the author who questioned me over an innocent delay in posting. I had expressed my concerns of censoring, in the previous post. But now in light of people who have been hurt ' I should have taken the hit in the first place.

2) In my previous post (which you quoted partly) I clearly stated why I did not raise objections despite being offended. I did not perceive that there would be so many others, and maybe I was just sensitive. I'm not the one who first raised concerns over the author's integrity.

Although, I will add now - if one has unintentionally hurt sentiments why not apologize. It was all in humor, it was unintended, and I am sure the author did not intend it to turn out like this at all ' but I think if you have accidentally offended someone you can at least say sorry. But that is just my opinion.

3) Different people have different tolerance levels. We all think differently. Even the best of intentions can have unintended consequences. You cannot blame other forum members for having a different tolerance level for what is appropriate humor. But that is why, I did not reprimand the author. It was done in humor, but unpalatable to some. So I offered the author a choice to make changes or submit differently. The author has chosen not to address the unintended consequences.

4) Reports have been made and people who have made reports have also come up front and acknowledge it. If Summer did not like being asked openly, I apologize. Summer can PM me and state that he wants everything to be PM only. As for why I bring it here ' as I have said before ' I don't want people to assume I am acting on my whims. I put my own personal feelings aside to publish this story in the first place. This is unfair. In the past when I conduct things by PM people say, I am not being fair. When I try for more transparency, I am questioned again. Goes to show, you cant win em all.

5) I'm not sure what to say if expressing how one felt the story was is considered a dig.

6) IF COC lets people address something if they find it offensive, fictitious or not.

7) If this is about The Naked Face being called that, as far as I know she herself started it and her own friends carried it on. I could be wrong

8) Everyone wants that, but I think if someone is hurt even if unintentionally, they can speak up and seek redress.

Gauri: @ underlined: Let me assure you no one fed me anything. I don't know what can i do to prove that (RTH can check Inbox if she wants lol). I wrote all this last night and its only this morning that I have become active.

RTH: No need to apologize. Read my first two para and as I said there I have an excellent impression of you. Also I am not a narrow minded person nor do I have a small heart lol. I understand people are not perfect and make mistakes so even if you were to have issues with others I would understand.

Yes she is my friend and as I admitted in my original post that maybe there is little bias involved on my side. I am not ashamed of it. However I still made my point with honesty and I will leave it to others to judge whether I did a fair post or not.
