Yeah you have to remove them when you shower and when you go to sleep

Its made of a polymer plastic but they also make them out of silicone now too

It can be serious if you use them while showering as the heat generated can cause the lense to shrink and stick to the eye, I fell asleep with them in and my eyes were a little sore thats it, but that could have been because it was only for an hour or so 😆

Before youre allowed to have lenses they check the health of ur eyes and give you an oxygen test on the eyes to see if youd be a suitable candidate 😛
