Ugh. When I find Dunga more entertaining than the game, you know you're doing it wrong. Piss poor performance by both teams. The lack of Kaka, Elano, and Robinho was reflected. Better possession by Portugal in the second half but hell if Ronaldo wasn't the only person making an initiative. Portugal's defense (Eduardo, Carvalho) was good and just about the only thing you could count on. ilu Brazil but WTH was that perforrmance? And god, can the ESPN commentators go to hell? I mean I like Ronaldo but even I'm not THAT obsessed with him.

I'm semi-disappointed CIV didn't make it through.

Spain better not disappoint me.

i was hoping for more action than that - but oh well, these were two good sides assured of making it to the next stage ... it could haave gone something like this;

BRA: take it easy boys, we're through, and we don't want any more useless last 10 minute red carded playmakers ...

POR: 7-0 was good enough ... as long as brazil keep their side of the pact and don't goal, keep toying around and time pass for 90 minutes... never sailed easier into the pre quarters now have we??!!!

*YAWN* - what a waste of a morning - spain chile better be more entertaining than THIS!

I hope Chile/Spain is more entertaining too. Chile is a fairly strong team though and they are technically already in -- 8 out of 9 outcomes support them going through and 6 outcomes out of 8 put them in first place. The only way Chile doesn't go in is if Spain and Switzerland win their respective games with a combined marginal victory of 3 goals or more. Hopefully, that creates more friction (that shows when they play!!) than it did in the "Group of 'Death'".

Missed the Brazil Portugal game but doesnt look like i've missed much. As expected both of them have gone through...

Looking forward to the Spain Chile game tonight..should be a good game especially coz Spain HAVE to win and Chile are playing well...

😆 I think that's EXACTLY how it went! Boring match! Didn't think i'd ever say that with a portugal vs brazil match 😲

Switzerland will only qualify if they beat Honduras by 2 goals.

Or if Spain lose and Switzerland draw, Switzerland can go through.

If Spain draw and Switzerland beat Honduras then Switzerland are through
