We have inverters at home, and yes you are right voltage fluctuations happen quite a bit....our poor inverter had to be repaired twice.....
Kanch, we are better off actually, smaller cities face around 12-14 hours of powercut in the summer...

after june things will get ok....coz monsoon will be in full swing in most of the country

Hmm jab power nahi hota to kya karte hai...good question, pehle we curse jee bhar ke😆 uske baad if its daytime to get back to whatever work that can be done without electricity...and if its night tab so jaate hain😆 actually hamare ghar mein inverter hai, to at least light aur pankhe ki pareshaani nahi hoti hai...so book padhkar time pass ho jaata hai

Nahi monsoon mein situation gets better, but after june...see South Indian rivers are dependent on monsoon to raise their water levels, because they are not Perennial or glacier fed rivers like North Indian rivers...so in summer water levels go drastically down, and power stations don't have much water to generate electricity...also there are few alternate power options like thermal or nuclear power....

so when Monsoon hits Southern India on June 1...depending on how much rainfall we receive by july mostly the water level is raised, and power generation is back to normal....

The initial month of monsoon witnesses a lot of cyclonic activities..like in past 2 weeks we have had 2 cyclones...one in east coast and one in west coast...so wind speed at this time goes up to 120km/hour even in cities like Bangalore, which are nowhere near the coast...so as a precautionary measure, power is cut...since a lot of trees get uprooted, and affect the electricity cables....by july when monsoon becomes stable all these problems reduce.....

hehe wah wah... u know waise India is quite well know for its minimum consumption and min wastage per number of people... India is always used as an example by all these environment awareness people... but i guess unhe nahi pata ki india mein its not people being environment conscious but haalat :)
but i think in a way its nice... it gives u this time away from the normal day to day life ... no net, no phone... u get to read and reflect on things more i guess... yaha tou its 24/7 net, TV, phone...

Haha, kaafi India gyaan ho gaya na😆 ab bas karti hoon, and yeah, its really funny when India is labelled as pro-environment...I mean yes there is lot of awareness, true...but lack of development also has contributed in us being environment friendly😆
