What sort of negative attitude is this? Demeaning a character like Sadhna cannot do any good, any justice...
I love Sadhna's character, because I love Bidaai and it is continuously been shown by the CTs that why we should love Sadhna's character. Its sketched with utmost care and sincerity. Where is the fault f "Sadhna" or "Sara Khan" in it?

...

I can't understand how she refused to say one lie to save her BIL Ranveer but said so many lies to cover her tracks during the dance competition and Mamiji's surgery - this is hypocrisy !!😡

i didn't read the whole thread, but i did read the first couple posts. anyways...
bani, may i please make a suggestion to you yaar...? please stop letting others' comments get to you. i know you love sadi a lot, but there are other BIDAAI fans who don't, at least, not as much as you, and when they see something wrong in her, some make comments...its just the way it is...in fact, it doesn't just happen with sadi, .you have to remember that. happens with ALL the characters on the show, be it alekh, ranveer, ragi...so just chill yaar, and don't let it get to you. 😉 i think this is why you get so frustrated when ANYTHING is uttered or said against sadhna.
also, may i make a request please...? can we please stop with all the ram-sita comparisons...? i know in bidaai, references to them are made, and the characters are hindu, but that doesn't mean its a religious show. you see, when you compare real-life human beings (well, on the show they are real. lol. but u know what i mean...) to (i don't know what or who they were...according to hinduism, were they humans, or gods,or something else? IDK...) ram-sita, even further arguments will ensue. also, you have to keep in mind, there are a LOT of people here who do NOT believe in ram-sita here, and many, who don't even know their full story, like me. idk what ramayan is, i know very little of the ram-sita story, etc. etc.
please, once again, i'm not degrading hinduism or ram-sita in any ways. if you believe in them, great. but please keep in mind there are others who don't, so when you make comparisons to them, there'll be a LOT of people who don't know what you're talking about, nor will they believe the comparison is made to something that's true; cause i personally don't believe ram-sita is true, so when you make sadi compared to sita, to me, its like you're comparing her to something/someone that/who never even existed. it would be like me stating a comparison of sadi with Biwi Khadija, to someone who is not even Muslim, doesn't believe in Islam, and has no clue about Biwi Khadija...
do you understand yaar, i hope i didn't offend you or any others in any ways. 😉 if you wanna make references, then please make them with people whom we ALL believe existed and know are/were true...

Very nice post. I agree with a lot of things you said. Even though u are a Saalekh fan, u understand its alright that certain fans may have an opposing view...I am glad there are people like you out there.

Also, u said something that i had been feeling the urge to post about since a very long time. The religious comparison that this forum witnesses does not go down well in my books. To applaud a certain character for his or her goodness is understandable but comparing them to god, be it of any religion is just wrong IMO- not because certain people dont understand the gods involved but rather- we cant compare mere mortals to god. Also, there are some cases where we can do that- but this is just a TV show with fictional characters- to say a particular character has reached the height and goodness of GOD is quite demeaning to my religious sentiments. Its alright to appreciate someone, but to say they are flawless like Sita, Ram etc is just not right.

Just my opinion.

I agree with Isabel completely and Pricey, as well.....I agree that Sadhana is a beautiful character, but comparing her to Sita Mata is a little overboard....Just for the reason that No MORTAL can ever be equivalent to GOD himself, and again..God from any religion, not necessarily Hinduism or Islam....

Another thing I find is extreme feelings like....either people either LOVE the character of Sadhana or HATE her because of what she did to Ragvir....Either way, I think there should be mediocrity in our feelings..Sadhana is a well-cultured sacrificing individual, but calling her flawless is too overboard..I can find several flaws in Sadhana, apart from the slapping incident, like her losing the show for Ragi's sake and putting her marriage (a holy bond) at at stake.., She lying to Vinu Bhaiya about her money source....I am not bashing Sadhana at all, In fact I like Sadhana too, and I like Ragini ,as well, but comparing her to some divine form is just something, I find hard to accept.....Solely My Opinion......

So now-a-days people have problems with Ramayan also...

If anyone has a problem with Ramayan being discussed in the show, then please refer to the plot of Bidaai, which is in the form of Ramayan. And there are many instances, esp. from dialogues of Ranveer, when the Bidaai team confirms that this story is in the back frop of Ramayan. how can we not love Sadhna's character, it is shown in the show like that. If anyone has watched BIdaai fromt he beginning, one episode will steal your heart. When a guy was coming to see Ragini and Kaushi and all were tensed that he will like Sadhna. You know what Sadhna's character did..she let a pot fall on her feet so taht she cannot walk...noone including Rgaini asked Sadhna how did she get hurt...
when Sadhna's relations were takling her away to get the money from her father's accident, noone including Rgaini stopped her from going to her greedy relations, that character Sdahna just went away so that her jiji can get married without any problem...there are numerous examples which shows Sadhna's altruism and which can never be compared to any suffering of Ragini, Ranveer and Alekh. Although I admit Alekh did suffer also....
I have stated my POV in comparing Sita and Sdahna..if someone does not like, do not reply...
pls, dont insult and say that the inetntion was not to offend...

Comparison of Ramayana is done in the serial itself. Viewers are just analysing it. We are not the writers of Bidai and this comparison is depicted in the serial itself.
I dont think anyone's religion should come into picture here. It is just a comparison between the plot and an Indian epic. And I am sure, matured viewers dont have problems with any religion. I always feel all religions teach good, it is how we human beings implement it.
And liking a charcter (though virtual) like Sadhna, is quite natural. Not just because she suffered, but with these sufferings the way she gathered strength and positivity is beyond words.
One more thing, I again want to highlight. Tomorrow, in any other serial Parul plays a character similar like Sadhna's and Sara plays a character similar like Ragini's (though not by color issue), I would still prefer Sadhna's (played by Parul then) character. It is just the love for the character and not the actor/actress here. So, I dont think anyone who likes Ragini/Parul need to be offended by the appreciation of Sadhna.

Whatever it is, it is Sadhna only who got Ranvir out of the jail. And that too with respect and not by lying. Ranvir being a truthful person will be more happy coming out of the jail like this than by lying in the court. But did Vasu understand this? No. People like Vasu will never understand and it is waste of time to give explanation.

very good reply...we are always confused with the actors and characters...
same goes with me, if tomorrow Parul plays the character of Sdahna, I'll speak for PARUL, as I am fond of the character Sdahna and why not...the show itself proves the greatness of Sdahna in every way....how is Sdahna's character portrayed similar to Sita's its not my weird idea, but its being shown by the creatives.

Bidaai is now in the plot of Ramayan, where one is doing a particular character..very often, the CTs are making us aware...like the Ram-Sita milap verses and how Alekh came to meet Sadhna at the backdrop of the Milap readings, Nani ji explaining to Sadhna why she told Sdahna to read the Ram-Sita milap portion at that particular moment and that she was referring to Sadhna as Sita and Alekh as Ram, Ranveer calling himself now and then either Laxman or Bharat. These all are enough proofs to show that this a backdrop of Ramayan...
