thought I would jot down a quick thought.
The "slapping" epi never made sense to me previously. especially as it was self imposed by Archu who would shortly have no connection with this house. I could not understandwhy she would allow such humiliation for Manav and Vandu who had already forgiven her, now trusted and respected her.
Today's epi now gives me some insight into the CV's process. the potential of that scene was not the immediate effect or reaction rather the potential of a buildup to today's self-realization on the part of sav aai and even maybe kaka(who has not really thawed fully to Archu).
I think the intent was that Archu's "self imposed" humiliation (from this physcial, cruel and violent act) in combination with her jhansi ki rani rescue of her aai (Sav aai) were intended to diminish to a significant degree (if not totally) a similar humiliation felt by sav aai during the jail beatings. After all wasn't the jail humiliation (and the resultant death of sachin) the core reason for her recent hatred towards Archu??
Ok glad I noted this down. On a more self-depreciating note, I can feel a sense of logic returning to my gray cells now that the lingering effects of yesterday's shocking disappointment and the accompanying stupefication are rapidly vanishing.
Now that is written, it does not seem like such a quick thought, does it?đłđł
