What happens after the show?

I wonder what the future holds for the winner of DID 2? I mean once that person appears in a movie like promised, what happens after that? I mean judging from DID 1 I think most of them will get lost in the industry. I don't know what happened to Salman, Siddhesh, Jai, Alisha, etc. I mean Salman appeared for a dance number with Salman in that movie and then just dissappeared. Some have started their dance schools I guess. But none have really made a big impact on the industry. I guess with so many backup dancers, trained experienced dancers in the industry, it will be next to impossible for any contestant to make a big impact on the industry in the short term. I guess for all the contestants, the show itself is his/her 15 minutes of fame. I guess Zee will keep bringing some of them back to judge varoius shows and segments in the future.

salman didn't even appear properly, when i went to watch wanted in theatre i didnt seem him at all, he was just in a promo song for like what 5 seconds... that was a bloody joke, but whatever... what these contestants gain from show is fan-following, new skills, new network/friends etc, chance to open their own dance acadamies, go around doing shows as backup dancers or front line dancers in mini shows/parties etc, and if really lucky the odd break to work in bollywood assignments.

Jai had taht one movie, and then choreographed one gig for DID2, now hes judging lil masters
Siddesh will be in ZND
and Salman had that one song in Wanted which was not even really a part of the movie...

After the show they probably let people go to the toilet first before putting them on the bail gaarri to send them home. But I'm not really sure.

Well, honestly, I think Jai is the real winner of DID 1 because he has been getting the most offers. He became a choreographer and opened his own dancing school. Now, he 's judging Little Masters or Junior Dance India Dance whatever they call it and he also did a whole dance film. So yeah he really is the true winner. I never saw him get lost. Others really did get lost. Only saw them in the Zee Rishtey Awards. I don't understand how Terrence said that he didn't have such contestants before when Jai is simply so good.

Well, Jai already had his own institute. I bet he got more dancers after his participation on DID because of popularity.

Salman, never saw him after the Wanted song 😆

i think Jai got the best of the lot...Was in 2 movies i think. Plus, he's choreographing for DID Juniors!

Jai already had a dance institute before DID.

this goes to prove that the "winner" is not really the winner. People in the industry watch and have their own winners regardless of the public voting winner. I think mayuresh appeared in a hindi soap!
I would not be surprised if shakti gets a movie offer after this show.
In terms of dancing, these stars have a long way to go even after the show, especially to reach the level of our masters!
Khushboo is trying out her hands at acting too!! because lets face it: Not a lot of oppurtunities for dancing, especially during recession!
