Koel Purie has been spotted with restaurateur Timmy Narang often for more than a month now.

This comes in the wake of the actress's split with her London-based boyfriend, and Narang's split with Gurpreet Gill, whom he was planning to marry.

Friend or boyfriend?

Are Koel and Timmy dating each other? Says the actress, "Why is it of interest to anyone? I don't want to discuss this. It's very personal and nobody's business. I have always been open about my personal life but it hasn't helped me; instead, it's gotten me into trouble. Timmy is a friend.

Coming from Delhi, I don't know too many people who can escort me around the social circuit here. I have also been going around with Moses a lot, but he's one of my really close friends. That doesn't mean I am having an affair with him."

Mystery man

Recently, Koel broke off with her London-based boyfriend, George. "We are not together any more," she admits. "I have come out of a very intense relationship, and right now, I need some time to heal my heart.

It's been an extremely painful time for me. I can't talk about the relationship, as it is still at a very tender point. I am not sure if it is really over... and I wouldn't want this to get back to him and hurt him."

Wants to do masala film

After White Noise and Nazar, Koel's last release was Mixed Doubles.

"Right now, I am shooting for the British psycho-thriller, Losing Gemma, directed by Maurice Philips, where I play a bohemian Indian girl who gets rejected because of her background," explains the actress.

"I have also completed Shotgun Movies' Mera Dil Leke Dekho, an out-an-out comedy. Prior to this, I shot for the Canadian film Look Alike, where I play a double role, and the British drama series, Trial And Retribution. Now I want to do a completely commercial film, with song-and-dance numbers."
