Abhijeet Sawant pens his biography

As a record of sorts, reigning Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant has already completed his biography and got it published in the very first year of his professional career. Titled 'Aapka Abhijeet', it is available in both English and Hindi.

On the release of the book, Abhijeet did confess that he had never imagined that one day there would be a book on his name. He credits his "big achievement" on the people who have been generous to him and supported him at every step in the walk of life.

The book brings to fore his lonely childhood that was spent with a passion for cricket and a terror of all academic achievement. It also has number of humorous incidents narrated in it, for example family's annual TV ritual of watching beaming merit toppers of board exams and of his parents' fantastic academic expectations from a son who falls ill at the very mention of exams!

Abhijeet has already begun his countrywide tour of the promotion of his book at leading book stores.
