Part 33 Muskaan's House
Her dad wanted to find out.. but at the right time, muski's mom called out... her dad left.. and muskaan went in the backyard.. ready to..... ATTACK!! =P
Mus – rahul ke bacche... tune toh mujhe rulaa diya, lekin ab hai meri baari
Rah – (stepping away from her) arrey muskaan, woh toh sirf mazaak tha... tu aise kyun mere pi... aaahhh (he almost tripped on the hose) mere picche padi hai?
Mus – toh main bhi mazaak hi kar rahi hu rahul (with a sweet smile)
Muskaan was holding the sandal behind her back so rahul could not see... now.. because of the sweet smile muski had put on, rahul thought that she wouldn't do anything so he stopped trying to step away from her, and he actually took steps towards her.. thats when muski took her sandal... and threw it in his direction... it hit rahul right on the top part of his chest...
Rah – aaaaaa!!! (he screamed while clutching at his chest with pain)
Mus – rahul... yeh dard jo tumne abh mehsoos kiya woh mere dard se kam tha... (she went near him) you know how scared i was! Mujhe laga hum kabhi saat nahi ho sakte...
Rah – galti hogayi meri maa (holding his ears) ab main aisi galti dubaara nahi karunga... uska natija maine ashen kar liya...
Muskaan was not angry at rahul anymore... she brought rahul back to the living room and because rahul was still in pain because of the "sandal", she kinda felt guilty
Mus – rahul... im sorry.. woh.. mujhe bahot ghussa aaya tha.. i mean..
Rahul interrupted her...
Rah – ssshh... its okay muski... mujhe pata hai tum mujhse bahot pyaar karti ho.. nd i deserved it...
Just then... muskaan's dad came
MD – oyye rahul puttar! Aaj raat tu aur muskaan saath main khaana waana khaao aur ek duusre ko acchi tarha se jaan lo... hum aur tumhaare mata pita ke saath tum dono ki shaadi ki taarik tayyar karege... theek hai
Rah – ji uncle (winking at muskaan)
Sanjeevani – Outside OT
Abh – get ready nikki.. we are doing our first surgery
Nikki was perplexed
Nik – what do you mean our first surgery? There's no senior doctors here... how can we go a surgery?
Abh – dekho nikki... dr. Rai cannot reach sanjeevani.. and agar patient ko bahot der ke liye yeh state main rakhenge toh patient ki jaan bhi jaa sakti hai
Nik – lekin how are we going to know what to do?
Abh – well the nurses will assist us and dr. Rai will also give us instructions over the phone
Nik – (she takes a deep breath) theek hai... lets go
They both prepare and get dressed for the surgery... abhi was about to enter the OT when he noticed that nikki wasn't with him... he turned around to call nikki and saw her with her hands folded and eyes closed
Nik – (praying) bhagwaanjee.. maine aaj tak apse kuchh nahi maanga hai isliye iss baar meri baat man lijiyega... yeh surgery mere aur abhi ke liye bahot important hai.. humme yeh surgery karne ke liye himmat do...
A small smile crept on abhi's face = nikki is soo cute and adorable...
Abh – nikki... chalo...
They both opened the door and stepped inside....
Abh – nurse... get ready for an open heart surgery
Abhi looked up at nikki and nikki nodded at him... and they began...
(abhi had already turned his cell on)
Rai – the nurses will already have put the patient to sleep so now, you will have to make an incision near the patient's chest
Abhi took the scalpel and put it on the patient's chest.. he was scared... he wasn't able to get himself to make the incision... nikki understood and put her hand on abhi's hand and made the incision... blood was rushing out so abhi quickly used the bovie ( a tool used to stop bleeding)
Nik – what shall we do next dr.rai?
Rai – now you will have to make sure that the patient's heartbeats are stable
Nur – check sir
Rai – ab dr.nikita and dr. Abhi... yeh sabse mushkil step hai... dr.nikita, you will have to make several incisions but this time you will not be able to use a bovie so your hands will get bloody.. i know you can do it so don't be scared.. and for dr. Abhi, you have to grab the other instrument and be prepared as when you will be able to see the heart clearly, you will immediately use the instrument and open the arteries
Nik – b..uu..t...(stammering)
Rai – dr.nikki.. no excuses.... start NOW!
Nikki was scared, but knew that she had the ability to do what she was asked to do... she took a quick glance at abhi... and although their eyes only met for a couple of seconds... his eyes gave her the strength... his eyes told her that he believed that she could do it... and then... she overcame her fear and started....
Nikki and abhi both completed the required steps successfully and the nurse used the suture to close the incision....
Rai – doctors... you ahve done well but now is the other hardest part.. if the patient does not respond in a span of 10 minutes, the consequences could be fatal...
Canada – Emergency Room
Arm – mujhe pata tha ki tum meri baat sun rahi ho... apni aankhein khol lo na riddhima.... please riddhima... (hesitating once again..) basket (he said lightly)
a sudden wind started blowing... (its DMG type of wind.. only armaan feels it) he knew that ridz was fighting to get up... armaan closed his eyes and put his hand on riddhima's hand... for once.. armaan was actually praying to God... when he felt movement...
riddhima's hand was moving slightly... her fingers enlocked with armaans... armaan called the doctor and the doctor asked armaan to wait outside the room...
*Riddhima's POV*
I knew he was here... right beside me... i want to get up but my brain is not allowing me to... im awake yet helpless... i hear doctors and nurses tellin me to get up.. but where is my jaan? Armaan? Shayad usse... (a sense of fear rushed in her thoughts)
I squinted my eyes... then i heard the worst possible news ever... the doctor said regretfully "armaan" i gasped and took deep breaths... this cant be it... no.. nothing can happen to him.. as long as im alive, he is too... agar mere armaan ko kuchh ho jaata toh main abhi zinda nahi hoti...
*Back to Normal POV*
It was visible that riddhima was trying to wake up... and then... her body shook and she rapidly opened her eyes and straightened up..
Rid – ARMAAN!!! (she literally screamed)
Armaan heard the scream and ran inside the room...
Arm – riddhima!! (he said as his eyes filled with tears)
Rid – armaan!
Armaan sat on the bed beside her... ridz surrended herself to armaan as he engulfed her in his arms...
Ridz started taking heavy breaths... she pulled out of the hug and was freaking out...
Rid – agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh armaan? Kya zaroorat thi aisa stupid si harkat karne ki? (her eyes were kind of watery) agar tum..
She was interrupted... armaan closed his eyes and pressed his lips on riddhima's.... they were unaware of the fact that they were being watched by.... not by dr.smith or the staff... someone else...
Arm – basket! Dont worry... main theek hu...
Rid – your so stupid armaan! Kabhi toh mere bare main socho (she said as another tear fell down her cheek)
Arm – oyye hoyye (wiping the tear) itni fikar hai meri?
Ridzy turned around... – jaao.. main tumse baat nahi karungi...
Arm – arrey basket.. itni badi sazaa?
Rid – toh aur kya armaan (faces him again and puts her hand on his cheek nd speaking softly) agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh mujhe kitni badi sazaa milti? Yeh nahi socha tumne?
Arm – accha baba... im sorry!! (he held his ears) aaj se main promise karta hu ki main kuchh bhi aisa karne se pehle teen (ridz rises her eyebrows) sunno toh sahi... ha.. aisa kuch bhi karne se pehle main teen sau (300) baar sochunga... bas?
Ridz lets out a forced smile...
Arm – yeh hui na baat (he said while nudging her on the shoulder)
Arm – aaj se main... yeh bhi promise karta hu ki tumhe aaj ke baad kabhi bhi hospital nahi jaana padega... until we have kids.. woh bhi teen
Ridz sweetly faced armaan
Rid – armaan! Hospital toh mujhe roz jaana padega na
Arm – (looks at her with surprise) riddhima!! Tumhe itne saare bacche chahiye??
Rid – armaan! If you don't remember... hum hospital main kaam karte hai
Arm – (puts his hand in his hair) oh ya... oops
Ridz leaned towards armaan and gave him a peck on the cheek
Arm – oyye hoyye
