Chapter 1:


Samrat looked at the name plate outside the office door,which read, "Ms.Aha – Guidance Counsellor" and knocked softly as he licked his lips nervously. His first day at Excel was proving to be quite uneventful till now, with the Principal being extra-understanding of his sudden and mid-of-term admission to the college... He wondered if she would be equally nice as he heard a loud and irritated "Come in!!"

"Good Morning,maam" Samrat smiled at her, handing out his admission paperwork to the woman behind the desk.She looked up at him and gave him a smile which, to Samrat, seemed almost seductive. On an impulse, he moved back and plopped into the chair across her.

"Samrat Shergill...My,my...9 schools and now admission to a 2nd college!! Army brat??" She said, appearing to be interested...

"Well,kind of...my Dad...."

"That'll be enough!!" Ms.Aha cut him abruptly...Samrat looked up,slightly miffed at this.
She continued," Im sure you'll find Excel no different than your old college...."

PHAT!! A wet tissue ball landed onto the window behind her...She smirked...

"Same old shit and crap going on here too!!" she finished, pointing towards the window...

SHIT??CRAP??Had he heard her right??

"Im sorry...did u just say..??Am I in the right office??" Samrat burst out,unable to contain his shock..

"Not anymore, darling...Here's your time-table and the rest will be explained to you by Benji...Im sure you will find him somewhere in the college! Now scoot!! I have deviants to attend to." She dismissed him with a wave of her hand.

As if on cue, there was a knock at the door and Samrat bumped into the handsome guy entering the room...The guy glared at him as Samrat left hurriedly to look for whoever in this World was Benji...

"Aah!! Mr.Mayank Sharma...I see we are making these visits a weekly ritual..." Ms.Aha spoke to the guy,her voice laced with sarcasm...

"Only so we could have these moments together...Should I hit the lights??" Mayank retorted, just as dryly...

"Very clever, Mr.Sharma...It says here that you created a ruckus in the canteen, forcing Mr.Uday to gobble up 25 burgers...He passed out and hasn't been able to come to college since." She reprimanded him.

"It was supposed to be taken as a joke...That idiot took it on himself to prove it..." Mayank responded irritably...

"Well, next time, think before you make your silly jokes...Now scoot!!"

Mayank glared at her one last time before leaving the office... Stupid Uday!! Because of his pea-brained antics ,he had to listen to this nonsense...He made a mental note to himself to ask C.J. to stop seeing that idiot!!
