This competition is more of a contest for stage performance-hence, voice alone is not the criterion. Why do you think Farah Khan is on the judges' panel? Not to judge the pure singing talent. In fact, she has really put down Meenal(a good singer!) on more than one occasion for lack of performance.

Again, I maintain what is important in this contest is 'a total package'. Also, Panna is not a bad singer - I would rank him in the middle order amongst the current contestants.

Well if you see the indian idol closely there is a dispute among the judges, Sonu and Anu most likely looking for true singer not a true performer, since farah is a dance directer and have a lack of knowledge about music, she is more likey looking at performer.

He's da best.. his voice iz full of masti n soooo amazing dat u wud go on lisenin to him forever.. jus sayin plz HR fans dont start but i personally fink panna sang jhalak diklaja much better den Himesh... i use to hate dat song but wen i heard panna singin it believe i had to download it n put it on my nano (ipod) coz i woz jus in luv wid it...

for a chnge i wud lyk to ask u ppl dat y dont u lyk Panna's voice?

Panna;s voice is the best n he is a all rounder n best to be an indian idol 2 😉

You mean to say-Abhijeet Sawant/Qazi/Rooprekha-are all going to be known as legends? If so,then Panna will too!

Yes...i do think that Abhijeet Sawant in the future will be a legend bcz he was the FIRST II.....Qazi and Rooprekha r already gone in the wind...😆😆 and i didn't mean to say that Panna is a bad singer.....as u said v r looking for a "complete package"......so u think Amey or Karunya r not complete packages?? they don't entertain u??

Listen! I didn't even go there. I thought we were just discussing Panna ; If I say Panna is good, it doesn't automatically imply that Karunya and Amey are not. Let's not start misinterpreting things.

OK. Amey , I think, is the top in singing talent; but lags behind in performance. (a li'l). Karunya is excellent in both- but, still lags in performance behind Panna. Overall, my preference- in descending order-Panna/Karunya/Amey. Just a subjective taste.

His voice is ok...I like the performances he has given so far...he has sung well...

But he doesn't have a pull in his voice you know, its not a very powerful voice...like when Amey sings, you want to drop everything and just listen...its mesmerising...
And Panna hasn't shown much variation in his voice either...
