Yes, you expressed similar sentiments a while ago when I brought up the question of "what will happen to the universe after one had realization".It gets really tricky there. From the point of view of the realized one there is no universe but from the point of view of the non-realized ones, there is a universe but from a neutral stand point of view (consciousness?) I have no idea.

True but you can explain the entire duality theory in the same way. The absence of one explains the other.Light and dark. True and False. Right and wrong. It seems we always fall back on one to explain the other. Relativity? If you agree that consciousness (I) has no reference, then you would agree that it can't be explained but can only be realized. That is where I am saying with conviction that the realization is not for us but for consciousness itself. It is the one which should realize, not us. We don't exist but in the dream world of consciousness.

That's an interesting take. Could you elaborate on that a little more? Is that your thinking alone or were you influenced by what you read on this topic elsewhere? Am influenced by many books ,peoples and different kind of realities in life...I believe reality is more magical than any dream...
Who is the subject and who is the object in the case of your inner self and outside "reality"? I believe 'Reality' is present!! but our mind can recollect just shadows, reflections of past...Sometime we don't see the real but we always see it colored with our own prejudices, ideas, our whole mind....Reason I am asking is because I am not sure if you heard of the subject-object problem of philosophy. Look it up on the internet. -- I will do...I just expressed my views n thoughts about reality....😊
"What do we know" and "how do we know what we know". watchfulness is best way to know the changes, present and the truth about life ...I believe it is not that first you know and thn you do something to change..cos truth is revealed everywhere, every moment....

Quite obvious you are seeking answers from all possible angles but you left out ghosts, spirits and aliens.😆

With non-attachment and other good qualities a person is able to calm the restless mind and concentrate in dhyanam and thereby experience realization. such dhyanam will normally last 4 to 5 hours it is said.
