Yeah. I guess the main reason is his memory loss. Maybe at a certain level he felt isolated irrespective of the team being around. If anything went wrong people pointed fingers at his memory loss in no time. He had not built the personal one-to-one relationship with everyone. The fact that he forgot his past including his mother which led to her death made him feel guilty. He was all alone with no immediate family. Have you seen "THE CASE OF MISSING FATHER". In that case a son comes from a village after his mom expired looking for his father. Abhi Sir is so emotionaly touched, he did not want the child to be left alone in this world like he himself is now. Again very well enacted. You can feel how lonely he feels. But over the years, he found a new family in the CID team, friends who he could trust, regained memory about some parts of his past life, now the question "who am I?" did not haunt him. He made an identity of his own. I think this charatcer has been so well developed by Adi Sir, he lives the part and has given it small small nuances.

I couldn't see the talking parrot episode yesterday...but I remember how Abhijeet flirted with the kidnapper 'Aakash neela hota hai, lekin June mein baadal aate hain aur tum bahut khoobsoorat ho'. And then he says 'Tum mujhe chod do, main CID chod doonga' or something. And then he whistles 'Hum Tum ek kamre mein band ho'. It was soo funny.

What I liked was that in the end, Daya and Abhijeet for once have a very sweet handshake...😊

Yeah me too lovely moment but why didn't they spend some time showing what the team actually felt about Abhi Sir name being involved.

Today on SetMax a 1999 Episode - THE CASE OF DEATH BY DROWNING was shown. This Case must have been aired between Mar and Jun 1999. Viren's name is not there in the end credits, which means he had left by then. ACP was not there either so DCP took over, the same guy who wanted ACP go after he lost his eyesight.

I realised it only in the end...I was busy watching SONY. 😡 I saw the end title music and realised that there were neither Daya nor Abhijeet in that episode. So I suppose I didn't miss much.

Daya was there, No ACP and this is definitely from Pre-abhijit Era. Rest Asha, Sudhakar and Freddie (was called Fredriks not Michael) were there. And Daya Sir was looking so cute.
