And they say that we are poorly-behaved.I have seen that to. Ase khate hain jaise ghar mein khane ko nahi milta😆😆. Whenever I go somewhere, I feel bad eating a lot(unless I'm really hungry) And I've seen the American kids, so cocky. If they don't want to eat something, they say I don't like it in front of your face. Plus, Americans have whole lot of problems with this and that and.............the list continues. So, you see, no one's perfect.
I am not saying that anyone is perfect. All I am saying is that we should take good things from different culture. And, as far as eating goes, it has nothing to do with Indians or non-indian. And, on face thing I will say Goras are more polite then us. They come on time and even they want to say bad things they will put it very nicely. I have seen Indian bosses try to micro-manage all the time. And, I always try not to repatthat. But, I am not saying that I am perfect.😆😆
And what about them taking good things from us? Or do you mean to say that we have no good things in our culture?

I don't know which country the thread maker is on about, but here in the UK, Indians are known for being a successful, hard-working minority community.

I haven't come across desis trying to put other desis down infront of non-desis, nor the other things mentioned by others.

And what good stuff should we take from them??? Suing a person for droping coffee on you? Or very exposing clothes? Or making out in public?

One good thing they learn from us is to being social and help eachother. Friendship, relation, trust these are our strong points. We do have so many great things. All I am saying is that we should be open to all ideas and information. We shouldn't just say...nonono...we have rich culture and we are perfect..what ever we do is right...there is always room for improvements.

Who said that? No one in this post did. You're right and I agree with you. BUt at the same time, we can't change ourselves for their sake. If they say "Jump", we aren't animals who'll listen to them. They are cordial and all, but all I'm trying to say is that there is good and bad in each and every culture and that's what mankind is all about. We learn from each other.

I never said that Indians are not successful. I have seen few incidence where desi behaved differently in front of desi then Gora. There are so many desis who are born outside of India. They feel bad when they see all this.

It's not about changing for their sake...it's about changing for better...there is always room for improvement...there is no harm in passing one smile when you see some starnger...no harm in holding the door for some one...no harm in saying thank you....

Why are people not quoting each other properly? It is hard to make out where one's post ends and other's starts.

buddy, have you been to India, people DO do that. It's just on a much smaller scale. But look at our population and America/UK's population and how the education system is so stringly witheld, they are developed countries and India is a developing countries.
