Also I remember some driving experiences, involving my motorbike, that I take out on weekends. Overtaking cars etc can already give that strange sensation. On one weekend when I went for a ride, everything was going fine. But then I reached an intersection. Suddenly one car came rushing down from the perpendicular road, broke the red light and cut my way.

I slammed my front brakes and slightly the foot brake thats for rear tyre. The rear tyre started to slide with screeching noise. I just managed to miss the car and somehow saved a fall despite of my rear tyre sliding. The car didnt even stop and, I am not sure, but it appeared that the guy inside just waved a hand and went away. I also think that I was lucky because usually I slow down a bit before every intersection and always check what is going on. However, that car came very fast, broke the red light and the intersection was almost blind.

After that I stopped on the side, checked if everything was ok with the tyre, took a pause and then moved on. I dont think that my jacket could have saved me if things were slighly more haywire. Sometimes, I think that once I get married then I will have to let go of my bike that is actually like a gf. Touchwood.

That is terrifying for sure! Skidding tires make me nervous too. I detest that feeling of helplessness --- of not being in control. My Navigator sometimes skids when it's raining and tends to get out of control -- especially if I take a sharp turn during heavy rain. I am okay as long as everything is hunky dory but when it skids, I have to pull over and wait for my heartbeat to slow down. Since it is such a gigantic truck, I am worried about all those itsy bitsy civics and corollas that would not be able to handle even a flying kiss from my Navi.

As far as the roller coasters are concerned - I am totally crazy over them. Luckily my husband and older daughter share my passion too. Little one is terrified of them but she is only 10. Hopefully, she will grow out of her fear too. My hubby and I used to take a day off, drop our girls at their baby sitter's and go to Astro-world when we had one here in Houston and our girls were very young. This is how much we love the rides.

Motorcycles scare the crap out of me. Karan, be careful and avoid your bike as much as possible. Not cool, not safe. Do you wear a helmet?

Regarding the bolded text - hehe - your wifey will not be happy with your gf. 😆 I had a coworker before who used to be in tears because her husband was in two horrible wrecks on a bike and was severely injured, but for some reason would not stop riding it. Don't know what's up with people and their bikes.

One thing about Navigator could be that perhaps its center of gravity is higher than other cars? I think the center of gravity plays a lot of role in the balance of a car.

Another point is that if the rear tyres slide then sometimes its manageable. However front slide in a car or on a bike would be more dangerous.

Lol When I was 6, The gates for the house were open through the front garden area. My aunt and mom were in the roof and I was waving at them and I felt something behind me, hugging me . I looked up and I saw some huge dog basically embracing me I was shocked and ready to cry 😲😭 but then he left yeah that was weird but not the most scary lol Today I almost lost my camera well Man I would've been in soo much trouble hehe

Ok will think about your advice:) and yes I wear helmet always. In fact, I wear most of the protections.

I think people like bike because of its sensations and thrills. One feels completely in touch with the surroundings and it is a unique feeling when one travels on a scenic route. Bike is like freedom itself and it is actually something like love.

Bikes are dangerous irrespective of which tire slides. My hubby wanted to buy one so that he can use the HOV during peak hour traffic. I put my foot down😆

Motorcycles can be very dangerous. It takes a responsible reasonable person to ride bikes safely. Hopefully, you are one of them. I have seen some pretty ghastly motorcycle accidents. One of my best friends from childhood is now paralyzed and severely brain damaged due to a motorcycle accident. 😒

That being said I don't think marriage means giving up your bike. There are several women who do enjoy bikes. Me, my sister, my cousins, a lot of us completely love bikes. One of my bosses a silver haired older woman rides her Harley to work during summer. You just need to find the kind who wants to sit behind and hold you tight.

*sigh* I want to buy a Ducatti someday. I wonder what Ajnu will say to that.
