Did Gautam Gambhir's decisions cost Team India the series?
Part One
He felt the feather-like touch of soft fingers on his forehead. A smile crept up on his lips and he recognized the touch. Of course it was her.
He slowly opened his eyes and discovered a cute princess sitting besides him on the bed. She looked as fresh as always. Her tiny grey uniform was draped around her little structure. The toothy smile on her face made him melt. He stared at the beautiful face. Her golden curls were bouncing around her head. Her hazel colored eyes were reflecting her innocence. She was simply adorable. The exact copy of his bhabhi maa, he thought.
The serene atmosphere played along as the little girl greeted the man sleeping on the bed.
"Good Morning chachu!" The glow on her face made her look so nave. He pulled the girl closer to himself and made her sit on his stomach. He returned her a love filled smile and pulled her cheeks.
"Good Morning baby. Ready for school." He pulled her closer and placed a sweet kiss on her chubby cheek.
"Yes, but mujhe daar lag raha hai." The innocently confessed. Her face instantly fell and this made him sad.
"Kyu? Aap toh bahot strong ho naa? Phir daar kyu lag raha hai?" Prem sat up in his bed and placed the little girl in his lap.
"Who aaj first day hai naa. Please aap Mamma ko kaho naa ke mujhe nahi jaana. Mamma always listens to you naa." She had this pleading look on her cute face. He couldn't help but smile.
"Yes. Par iss barr naa Mamma manegi aur nahi Chachu." His heart ached to disappoint her.
"Par aap toh mere best friend ho naa. School achi nahi hoti. Aggar koi mujhe bully karega toh. Mujhe bahot daar lagta hai." Her plan off acting adorable and making him understand wasn't working. Knowing her little natak for not wanting to go to school, he decided to explain to her the importance of attending school.
"Bina school jaye tum kaise keh sakti ho? School bura nahi hota beta. Aur agar koi bhi tumhe pareshan kare toh mujhe keh denaa. I promise, tumhe school bahot accha lagega." When he finished his lecturing, he saw her give in. She trusted her Chachu dearly.
"Pakka?" The sugar sweet girl asked. She held out her 3 inch long hand in front of him.
"Pakka!" He smiled at her and held her delicate hand in both of his hands.
"Accha jaldi se aap nah lijiye. Verma Mamma aapka aur mera khoon kar degi." She giggled as she said this. He looked at the time and panic struck every single nerve in his body. It was already 7:00 am. He has a meeting as scheduled at 8:00.
"Arre baap re. Tune pehle kyu nahi uthaya?" He placed her aside on the bed and ran to his closet to get his clothes ready. The little girl laughed at her Chachu. He appeared to be a little tense. But the expression on his face cracked her up.
Hearing her giggle, he stopped what he was doing and looked at her. The look told her that he would tickle her so much if she didn't stop laughing.
She instantly shut up and ran out of the room.

After taking a warm, relaxing shower, he came out of his bathroom and dressed up. He hated wearing formal clothing but being the CEO of Juneja Hotels, he had to wear lavishing suits and blazers. Today was an important meeting with the foreign clients and he knew that he would get the deal.
He wore a plain white shirt, a shiny, black blazer, and matching dress pants. He had recently gotten a hair cut and the look made him look serious as well as sexy. His hair wasn't too short; it was just the perfect fit for his lovable face. The slight stubble added to his serious look. He sprayed on some Calvin Klein cologne, adjusted his collar, placed his cell phone in his pocket, took a few files, and headed out his room holding onto his undone tie.
As he rushed out of the room, and was heading towards the door out. As he walked down the huge steps leading to the first floor of the mansion, he felt like cursing the person who made these never ending stairs. He was getting late and he had to hurry.
How would it look? Prem Juneja, the CEO and the managing director of Juneja Hotel, coming late to his own office.
His gaze rested on his files and when he looked up, he saw her and instantly stopped. She was giving him the 'I-told-you-to-wake-up-early look.' She then looked down at the tie he was clenching in his hand.
"Yeh tie bhandni bhi hai ya phir haath me hi rakhne wale ho?" Her tone was sarcastic and when she saw the look on his face, she cracked up.
He saw her smile. How much he wished that he could seal that smile on her face forever. As she walked up to him, he noticed the cream colored sari that she wore. The only jewelry that adored her body was the studs that sparkled in her ears. Nothing else. She looked plain and simple.
It hurt him to see his bhabhi maa like this. Tears welled up in his eyes as the event in the past flashed back into his mind. She didn't deserve this. His brother didn't deserve this. His Komal didn't deserve this. But as he came back to reality and saw her taking his tie, he pulled back his tears and greeted his Aarti bhabhi with a smile.
She returned him a smile and started tying his tie. She decided to give him his motherly advice and today was an important day for her devar.
"Presentation acche se denaa. Tum chinta mat karma. Deal tumhe hi milegi." She gently caressed his cheek.
"Best of Luck." She said as she pinched his cheeks. He bended down and gently touched her feet. He felt his bhabhi soft hand on his head and he got up.
"Aur haa. Pata hai ke dair ho gayi hai. Issiliye office se kuch khalena." He smiled at her concerned look.
"Thanks Bhabhi maa." Saying that, he headed towards his hotel.

Prem was so excited. He finally got the deal and now, he would be able to establish and open his hotels in Shimla. But even though this was a thrilling news to get, he was feeling terribly depressed. A hotel chain in Shimla meant being away from Aarti bhabhi and Komal. And at no cost would he leave them alone.
