5 new khatarnaak words:

hostelry - A hotel providing overnight lodging for travelers.

Synonyms: inn, lodge, hostel

Usage: Three large rooms were assigned to them in the monastery hostelry.

macrocosm - The entire world; the universe.

Synonyms: cosmos, universe, world, existence, creation

Usage: Astrophysicists are concerned with the macrocosm, while nuclear physicists focus their research on tiny atomic particles.

shogunate - A form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.).

Synonyms: monocracy, dictatorship, totalitarianism, tyranny, authoritarianism, despotism, absolutism

Usage: The people had philosophical problems with the shogunate, but they had to admit that trade and commerce were flourishing under its rule.

febricity - The condition of having a fever.

Synonyms: fever, pyrexia

Usage: The doctor told us that his febricity was probably the result of an infection.

acquittance - A written release from an obligation, specifically a receipt indicating payment in full.

Synonyms: release

Usage: After years of haggling over debts and money owed, the two men resolved their dispute and drew up an acquittance.
