It looks like it is sort of a love-triangle. But I think it mainly focuses on the forbidden love story between Charu (the lonely housewife) and Amal (her husband's cousin). Then I think it deals with Amal's guilt over betraying his cousin and then the husband coming to terms with Charu's betrayal. Since Rani mentioned that there was another heroine along with her and Shahid, I'm thinking the idea for the remake was to switch the characters and possibly make Shahid the main character (i.e. Charu) so instead of this being about a lonely wife, maybe he would have played the husband whose wife ignores him and he falls in love with her cousin? My question is which character would Rani have played? The wife or the cousin? And which actress would have played the other heroine? This is my guess from Rani's quote about the film. If this is true then, I would love for Shahid & Rani to play the main leads and for the love story to focus on them. [/QUOTe]
