Part 4-

Arjun calmly entered his house, and kept his bag on the sofa as he ran to the fridge to grab a bag of chips before calling up mohit, without even bothering to close the front door.

He wasn't in his senses, his thoughts were whole-ly fixed on rati, he wondered whether rati would call again, it was his birthday after all, but than that he wondered when mohit would call him updating him on what happened after he left.

He waited for another 3 minutes before he finally got a message from mohit-

Bhabhi aa rahi hai, tappori bhaiyya picture dhekhne gaye hai.

As mayank finished reading mohits message, he heard the doorbell ring.

-Ting tong-

He quickly turned and found himself face-to-face with rati.

Oh hell, darwaaza to kholne deti, thoda to ready ho pata before opening, shit!, but before he could finish cursing his stupidness, rati interrupted.

Rati- urgh hi arjun.

Arjun- hey rats.. ummmm tum... tum yahaan?

He asked with all the innocence of the world in his voice.

Rati- wo bhaiiya movie dhekhne gaye hai, aur ghar pe bhi koi nahi tha, isliye socha tumhaare ghar aa jaoo. You don't mind.. right?

MINDD!!?!?!!?!?! WHYY WOULDD I!?!?!?!

Arjun- not at all rats. Aao na andar aao. Ummm tum mere kamre mein jao, main darwaaza band karke aata hoon.

He said, as he quickly turned to the door making a contempt attempt of closing the door, watching rati going to his room through the shadows.

As soon as he saw her enter he ran to his dads loo, and started setting his hair.

When he was done, and satisfied with the way he looked he ran upto his room, where he saw rati standing beside the window with a picture in her hand.

Arjun quietly walked upto her, as he noticed the picture in her hand, of him and rati on their first outing with mohit, to adventure island.

It had been so much fun, and at the same time suprising seeing that rati had never ridden any of those swings before.

Arjun- ummm rati kuch khaane ko logi?

He asked as rati turned around bewildered.

Rati- TUM? Mera.. mera matlab hai arjun tum waapas kab aaye.

Arjun- just now, when you were looking at the pic.

Rati- oh.

She said as she turned scarlet.

Arjun- haan ya na?

He asked as he inched closer to her, sensing her discomfort.

Rati- main..

Arjun- haan ya naa rati?

His voice more seductive this time, as he inched closer to rati nailing her to the wall.

Rati- main... wo..

Arjun- bolo na rati, haan.. yaa.. naa?

He whispered in her ears as his hand slightly touched hers, making her shiver.

She felt her blood pressure rise, as he felt his hot breath on her lips. He had never come so close to her before, and this was something she hadn't expected.

Arjun pulled through the remaining distance between them as he felt ratis heartbeat increase from 78 to 100923 beats/minute.

Her breaths became shorter, as his lips trailed all over her hair, and then the next second he was standing 2 inches away from her looking sheepish as he asked- kuch khaane ko chahiye ki nahi? Haan .. ya na?

As he asked her the same question again, the realization struck her, it wasn't what she had been thinking about.

But then what had that been? The intensity of his eyes that she had just felt? Was that all just a joke or.... but her mind refused to think about it.

Rati- naa. Umm.,, nothing

She said as she felt arjun smile at her, making her smile monotonously.

It was always this way, he would smile, and she would end up smiling without any more ado.

And she loved that about him, i mean its hard so control yourself when you see those adorable dimples flashing on his cheeks, she thought.

Arjun- ahem...

Arjun cleared his throat, bringing her out of her thoughts as rati suddenly looked up.

Arjun- ummm lets ummmm.. sit?

Rati- ummm.. wel.. ok.

She said, refusing to look at him, knowing she would just end up going weak in her knees when she looked at him.

As they sat down and started to talk, arjun couldn't help but go back to his insane wild side, which did nothing but imagine rati, and now that she was sitting hardly a few centimetres away from him all alone, on his single bed, he just couldn't stop himself.

As arjun wandered in his rati-land, he felt a beep in his pant pocket, he hated that vibration on his thighs, it was so ticklish.

Arjun quickly snapped the phone out and ran out of the room as he picked up mohits call-

(arjun- A, Mohit-M)

a-heyyyy...

m-aurr mere bhai, kya ho raha hai?

a-kuch nahi bas rati-

m-rati ke saath hai, wo maloom hai. Aur yee stay uska wahaan bahut der tak hoga, ye bhi mujhe maloom hai.

a-matlab?

m-bhai, maine tera ghar bahar se lock karke, chabbi tank mein pheink di!

a-KYAA!PAGAL HAI KYA!USKE TAPPOURI BHAIIYA AA GAYE TO!?!

m-chill mere bhai, uska khyaal rakh rahi hai na tanvi!

a-lekin dude! Rati kitna uncomfortable feel karegi!

Mohit went silent at that.

a-aur main rati ko hurt nahi karna chahta! Tu jaanta hai na!

m- arree bhai mujhe mat kos! Ye idea solely jassi ka tha! Ussi ne bola mujhe darwaaza lock karke , chabbi ghumaane ko.

a-uffffff guys, ek baar mujhse pooch lete!

m-arreee yaarr, maukaa mila hai na! Rats ko apni dil ki baat bol daal!

a-haaan haan why not! Bas phir se uska chamaat system shuru ho jaayega

(*cupid winks*)

m-darpok saala! Arre yaar, birthday hai tera. Rati nahi maaregi tereko!

a-aur agar maara to?

And the line went dead.

Mohit! You're dead dude!, he thought, as he headed back to his room, where rati was hugging a pillow looking lost.

He slowly went and sat beside her not wanting to disturb her thoughts, when suddenly the lights went off......
