No one has ever let him grow up....He was always shielded...so he doesnt know how 2 deal with rejection, or when things dont go his way he lashes out....he is used 2 ppl just going by what he wants..akshara on the other hand has been a challenge 4 him...she doesnt give into his every whim...she tries 2 do right by every1...and most of all ..she does what she feel is right 4 him instead of what he wants...this is bound 2 cause friction ...but eventually they will be stronger bcuz of it...

It is a total double standard in our society.......its sad that even in the yr 2009...we r still stuck with age old labels..... 100 mistakes are overlooked 4 a man and 1 mistake can demolish a girl for the rest of her life....that one mistake will always be highlighted....small things are blown out of proportions 4 a girl, however even if a man commits a sin that is easily forgiven....common double standard!

I agree its double standards but why is the girl always held accountable, do you think that once we have children we wil be the same way. I always think sure i think this now because im not a MIL but what if when i have kids, will society have the same standards..i hope not

I think our generation is more open to change....I would like 2 think that by the time we become MIL times will change....i am not delusional 2 think that it wont exist....every1 is different and so is their way of thinking...i like 2 think we bring about change in our own lives..and we control how we move foward...we can definately be broad minded enough not to let this cycle run in our lives....

yeh but nandini starts crying at small things even today she started crying just cos they were looking at grooms for her. akshara probs didnt say anthing hurtful but nandini took it so and naitik knowing tht hissister has such a temperament and akshi being soo bholi dunno how he thought shed wanna harm his sister!
