@Geet - You seem to think that I'm saying that the married actresses do not get any offers at all. All I'm saying is that their number and choices come down, and gradually they fade away. Period.
I watched Pink Panther 2, and seriously don't understand where she did skin show ? She wore normal western outfits, and no scene would I deem as 'skin show'.
I'm not talking about how many awards Kajol won for Fanaa, I'm talking about the extent to which her character had an impact on the audience. Play 'Mere Khwabon mein jo aaye' now and you will have masses cheering for the bubbly, cute yet sexy Kajol. Play 'Des rangeela' and it will not stirr any emotions in them.
P.S - I have not been following any actor's news. I happened to come across these rumours from a relative of mine who lives in a small village and reads those small hindi magazines. If these rumours can make their way so deep into the masses, I can't imagine how someone wouldn't know.
@plasticpolaroid - Rani may not be the kind of gal who does these kind of films, but she always had the 'choice' to do one if she wanted to. ( Here, I'm not talking about the movies she was offered but the movies she could do ), on the other hand, married actresses do not have the liberty of that choice.
We're back to square 1, debating whether these rumours affected the offers she gets or not. Maybe the rumours did hinder the number of offers thats she got, it might have been a factor. But from here, it simply depends upon your perspective.
Again, Like I said before, I'm not denying that her choice in films has been lousy, but these rumours just proved to be the end of the straw.
