Part 9

After a long day of shopping..(it is evening).. outside in the parking lot..

R: Muskaan chal mai tujhe ghar drop kar deta hoon..

M: (still trying to ignore Rahul.. to see what he would do).. Nahi mai Riddhima aur Armaan ke saath chali jaaongi.. kyun Armaan..

A: haan zaroor Musk..

Rahul steps on Armaan's foot to make him shut up..

A: Abey Rahul.. Mujhe kyun..

Rahul pulls Armaan aside to explain the situation to him..

R: Sorry yaar Armaan.. par Muskaan mujhse naraaz hai.. isiliye tumhare saath jaane ki baatein kar rahi hai.. please yaar kuch excuse banake uske mere saath bhej na..

A: o acha ye baat hai.. no problem yaar.. mai kuch karta hoon..

Coming back to the girls..

A: um who actually Muskaan.. mai aur Ridhimma.. kahin jaa rahe the..

Ri: (confused) kya Armaan.. hum kaha jaa rahe hai??

A: uh.. wo.. Ridhimma.. tumhare liye surprise.. tum chalo toh sahi (putting his hand around Riddhima's shoulder and steering her away)..

Ri: Armaan.. yeh kya..

A: (silently).. un dono ke beech koi misunderstanding hui hai.. un dono ko solve karne ka chance toh do..

Ri: o acha.. phir theek hai.. (loudly) Bye Rahul.. Bye Muskaan.. sorry. Par hume jaana hai..

Rahul and Muskaan are left standing alone..

R: um.. toh.. Muskaan.. chal.. mai tumhe ghar drop kar deta hoon..

Muskaan could not think of anything else.. so she agreed.. but she is still giving him a silent treatment..

Both of them make their way over to Rahul's bike.. On their way..

R: Muskaan.. theek se pakad ke baith. Warna gir jayegi..

Muskaan doesn't say anything.. but puts her hand on his shoulder..

Rahul thinks to himself.. kuch toh reaction milla..

As soon as they reach Muskaan's cottage.. she gets off.. and goes in.. leaving Rahul baffled as to what he must do to make it upto her..

At Rahul and Armaan's cottage.. Armaan and Ridhimma are there too.. as Ridhimma can't go home soo soon.. otherwise Muskaan will know..

R: Guys.. mujhe batao.. mai kya karun.. wo toh mere saath baat hi nahi kar rahi hai..

A: awww.. Rahul.. love trouble mai phas gaya..

R: (annoyed) not funny ok Armaan.. ab tu help karega ya nahi..

Ri: Armaan.. (gives him a partially stern look).. Rahul.. pehle tum batao.. wo gussa kyu ho gayi?

R: kuch nahi.. itni badi baat bhi nahi hai.. maine sirf usse jungle billi kaha..

Armaan cracks up on hearing Rahul's response.. while Ridhimma.. is trying very hard not to laugh..

Rahul is thoroughly annoyed now.. he gets up and walks into his room.. shutting the door behind him..

R: (to himself) koi helpful nahi hai.. ab mai kya karun..

Rahul is pacing his room trying to think of ideas on how to make Muskaan talk to him.. after one hopur of pacing..

R: hmm.. ye idea kaise rahega.. nahi.. yaar.. ye toh itna boring hai.. aur kya.. hmm.. o wow.. wo idea acha rahega.. (expression change).. nahi aisa karunga to Muskaan mujhe apni jooti se maregi.. kuch soch yaar Rahul ki dimaag.. sirf tu hi mera madad kar sakta hai.. (tapping his head.. trying to make it think)

Rahul falls onto the bed… tired of all the thinking and pacing he just did..

R: stupid brain.. kuch acha nahi soch saka tu.. (hitting his head lightly with his hand)..

Rahul is laying on bed for a while.. when suddenly he jumps up..

R: o wow brain.. awesome idea! Thank you soo much.. aur maine jo pehle kaha.. I did not mean it.. sorry ji..

With that Rahul gets up and runs out of the house in a hurry to put his plan to action..

He comes back after an hour to see a confused Armaan and Riddhimma..

A: oye Rahul.. kya baat hai yaar.. tu aise kyu bhag raha tha??

R: (too excited) I just got an awesome idea yaar.. ok now RIddhima.. can you please make Muskaan wear this dress and come to the gazebo in the park..

Ri: (confused) kya.. I mean.. ok.. I will try.. par kyun..

R: it is all a part of the plan! Please help karo.. ab tum jao..

Ri: Rahul.. tu mujhse madad maang raha hai ya mujhe bhaga raha hai..

R: o wo.. sorry Ridhimma.. par Im excited.. mai kya karun.. par jaldi karo na please..

Ri: ok ok.. mai jaa rahi hoon.. par mai kya kahu usse..

R: pata nahi.. but make sure she comes to the gazebo in 30 mins ok!

Riddhima gets home.. to find Muskaan on the couch.. flipping thru all the channels..

Ri: hey Muskaan..

M: o hi Ridhimma.. finally yaar.. mai to bore ho rahi thi.. ye channels flip karte hue.. so Armaan ke saath kaisa raha (wink)..

RI: o.. wo.. kuch nahi.. (thinking abt how to get Muskaan to go) o.. Muskaan.. tu bore ho rahi hai na??

M: haan.. chalna.. hum kuch achi movie dekh te hai..

Ri: um.. wo..

M: kya hua.. tum itni dheere se baat kyun kar rahi hai?

Ri: wo.. Muskaan.. aaj.. party hai..

M: kya.. party.. kaha??

Ri: uh.. wo.. wo park hai na.. uss mai hai..

M: o acha.. par mera mood nahi hai..

Ri: um.. Par mera mood hai.. chal na mere saath..

M: kya yaar.. tu Armaan ke saath jaa na.. aur waise bhi..

Ri: nahi Muskaan.. tujhe jaana padega.. dekh mai tere liye kapde bhi select karli..

M: kya.. dikha..

Ridhimma hands Muskaan the package Rahul handed her..

M: o wow.. yeh kitni sundar hai.. tune kab li hai?? Aur mere liye?? (to herself) daal mai kuch kala zaroor hai..

Ri: wo.. (randomly comes and hugs Muskaan).. friend ko gift dene mai koi time nikaal na hai kya??

M: (taken aback by this sudden affection).. ok .. theek hai chal.. tu bhi tayaar ho ja.. phir hum jaate hai..

Muskaan and Ridhimma go into their respective rooms to change..

Riddhimma's room..

Ri: Arey mai phas gayi.. ab mai kya karu.. mujhe koi na koi bahana banake Muskaan ko akela chod na padega.. Rahul Muskaan ke saath mai kya karungi..

Muskaan's Room..

M: ye Ridhimma suddenly aise kyu ho rahi hai.. shayad Armaan waha hone wala hai.. isiliye wo sharmaa rahi hai.. par mera kya kaam waha.. Armaan Ridhimma ke saath mai kya karungi..

Both girls walk out pof their respective rooms with the same thought in mind.. what will they do with the the couple..

Ri: chalein..

M:..haan..

As they are walking down towards the park.. (it is quite close by)..

Ri: wo.. Muskaan.. mujhe phirse ghar jaana hai.. mai kuch bhool gayi..

M: kya bhool gayi?

Ri:.. kya bhool gayi.. uh.. haan.. mai purse bhool gayi.. so mai jaake le aati hoon.. tum jao..

M: mai bhi aati hoon.. (in her head).. mai Armaan ke saath akeli kya karungi..

Ri: nahi Muskaan.. please.. you go on.. I will come ..

M: um.. ok.. tu jaldi aa jana..

Ri: haan.. (walks away quickly before Muskaan could change her mind)

Muskaan makes her way to the park slowly.. while in deep thought.. when suddenly someone grabs her hand..
