Character bashing is not a new rule. It's always been around.

You don't need to bash a character to discuss something and neither is Shifali telling you guys to just talk about Arjun or whatever.

Bashing has never been tolerated on I-F. Whether it's a character or an actor being bashed. You guys are however, allowed to criticize. Criticize a character and analyze instead of bashing. The two are very different from each other.

And as for stuff like "ashleel buddha", writers add that to make scenes more entertaining. And you guys are allowed to discuss the phrases used but when you guys start using it in a negative way to describe a character, then it's called bashing.

@Shifali : If kids are coming to KMH forum to read, that means they watch kMH too and if they are watching KMH they should be hearing these words used , in the show. If they dont mind show ppl using it they shouldnt mind us using it too 😊.

If VS comes to reads us , our posts at adda I have seen ppl call him sanki , budda and all. Ppl got those words from the show. Arjun punj , Karan Singh in the show call him that. He reads that scrpit and he very well knows what the other characters in the show are calling him, if he doesnt mind that , he shouldnt mind us ppl using the same word to put forth our wrath too. Actually he should understand that ppl are hating him because of his characterization and what they write abt him is because of their love towards AA.

As far as my interaction with KMH team goes ,they do take these things in humor and love reading ppl's posts at adda. If whatever u were saying was true, if they getting hurt , they wouldve left reading Adda long before. I do agree sometimes ppl did go overboard abt a certain character, but that was just for a day or two and everyone came back to normal. So you asking ppl to report posts if they find anything offending to them is going to create a big havoc. For example I at adda write very very lengthy posts, I sometimes show my frustration with sharp comments, what if someone feels offended?. Just because that one person felt offended and reported , will u be deleting the whole post which many others enjoy?. Its just ppl's perspective to take things, that may get them to be offended. Someone likes hiten, so bashing KS character they may not like. Thats their view, I agree no bashing Hiten the actor, but no bashing KS the character? No and how are we going to gauge the amount of bashing allowed?. Isnt it going to hinder ppl's thought process. Lets take myself, I sit to write my post and when I start typing, now I have to consider will me using this word or this line going to offend anyone?. If thats how its gonna be , many will stop writing their straight forward views.

I feel Actor bashing is perfectly not allowed, Iam with u on that and I do keep telling ppl at adda to not bash or talk abt Actors and their personal stuff at adda. But character bashing is something which you should let go off. Its really going to trouble a lot if thats a rule.

"Kameena is esp NOT allowed to be used" Shifali ppl started using this word only when the show writers wantedly used to describe KS's character , so if the show and their writers can use, why cant ppl at IF use that describe or talk abt KS?. I wouldve agreed with u on this if , if ppl wantedly created this word instead of getting it from the show. Now show uses it so do ppl. I dont think thats going against rules .

Guys bashing isn't allowed. Is it necessary to allow character bashing to discuss? Can't you guys discuss without it?

@Shifali.. lanuage and descripter part of that criticism and analysis.. and where r u drawing the line? The examples you are providing are really bouncing off me.. HP is not a buddha? then what is he? a young man? K.S. in the "script" is a kameena and we are not allowed to use that terminology? How is that bashing? He was trying to use the date rape drug on aarohi or was that laasi? stealing her song. Yup. that is defiintely the height of mahaanta. He is not a Kameena... not at all.

I agree with u on the bold part , its to entertain ppl , the viewers. So do ppl posting here want to do . They would like to entertain all the frnds around with making use of those very words used in the show and putting forth their wrath and frustration. I am sure everyone who reads Adda and KMH forum by now got to know how each and every person writes their views and Iam sure using those words to let go off hatredness against a character wont hurt or offend anyone .If it does too those ppl will be in minority . Now Just because couple of ppl from the whole 10000 odd clicks on Adda are offended will u be taking action?. How are we supposed to gauga against hatredness towards a character?. Hate doesnt have limits and if someone hates a charater they will vent out it in a very harsh way, That may offend some but thats just a reel life character some one is venting his/her frustration on. Its "Freedom of Speech" that attracts ppl towards IF . Ppl without any inhibitions put forth their views and restricing their views by saying "No ove rthe board character bashing" is not going to help. For me a certain word can be overboard, for some one else it may not. Who is going to adjudge the words?.

For example: I put 2-3 hrs in post writing , by the end of the day someone feels one word from my post Offending , what are we going to do?. I didnt feel the word overboard I used it, many dint feel it so they liked it, one feels offended they reported it, then?.

@ Anu: Freedom of Speech, I-F gives everyone the right of freedom of speech, but I-F doesn't permit anyone to use such bad words. Writers are using it, but does that mean that EVERYONE has to use it? 'Kameena' isn't that like the B word in english? If we aren't allowed to use the B word on I-F then I thnk we are aren't allowed to use the K word either
