I'm a huge Gulzar fan....he has to date hardly ever disappointed me with his lyrics.....

Have you ever heard the song 'O saathi re' from Omkara??? I think it is one of the most amazing songs ever....and that has a lot of these quirky metaphors.

I'm just WOWED by the imagery....it's so amazing.....'when the sun is tired and goes thru the river....once it steps on the green fields, it will slip'

The entire song is about not wanting the day to end....and what BEAUTIFUL imagery this man has used.....I can never get over it.

And he's talking about the sun the entire time....wow
