Episode No 533 Wednesday 15/7/09

Viswa comes to meet maniac. Maniac is actually happy - now
that every thing is out in the open. Viswa says that he met maniac's
rowdy friend who accidentally spilled the beans -" u are the one who
hired him to kill me !! I will go to the police " Maniac calls Kumar, the
rowdy and puts him on the speaker phone -" will u betray me?? Police
kitte pottu kuduppiyaa??" The rowdy is a better person than maniac -
has no devious plans - says that he will never betray !!! So, now maniac
is 1 on 1 with Viswa - to add fuel to the fire, some child by name
Megala walks in to the room - maniac gets to know the name and
says " I love u Megala..what a lovely name.." gives a sly look to Viswa -
( sariyaana maanga - ippo thaan he gets the picture - maniac loves
Megs nnu !!!) Maniac says that Viswa can go and fly kite -"yaar kitte
vena sollu, no one will believe u" Viswa says that he will talk to those
who matter and leaves. Maniac's brain wheels are spinning - what next???

Tams - is upset that the first night festival diid not go as scheduled
because of her - narrates to all and sundry - keerai kkari, dhobi...
every one - that she is upset. Nandhu tries to stop but Tams is heart broken.

Maniac shows that he is one up on Viswa - calls Megs and sulks big time -
"Viswa came here , told me a lot of rubbish, namba punithamaana
friendship ai purinjikkame thappa pesittar... this is the last time ..I wont
see u or talk to u .... I will leave my job..go somewhere..." Megs frets...
"sir sir..." But maniac knows that he played George Clooney convincingly
and disconnects the phone. Megs is angry with Viswa and leaves...where??
Roja has no clue. Namba Viswa aadi paadi megs Office kku varrar -
receptionist says that Megs left just then. Destination - like Roja she
has no clue !!! Viswa leaves.

Bangalore - COD is getting ready to leave for work. Paatti and QBS
are there. QBS gives some coffee and goes to see of hubby...falls
down the front steps..cries...paati asks for transport " hospital..do
not worry..all will be ok.."

Episode No 536 Monday 20/7/09

Well, folks, I missed 2 days - looks like QBS has delivered a baby
boy -looks cute - but too big for a new born. Durga, Mr.Durga,
paatti and Tilaga - admiring grand son. QBS is asleep. Paatti
says that the baby looks like Kalai Arasu - Durga is not happy
to hear that ! Paati goes on to say that the baby should be named
after his maternal grand father - Tilaga beams ( ayyo da, Odi pona
purushanukku ipdi oru beaming??) Durga says that naming is not done
so easily - "horoscope paarthu, apram thaan " Patti samalichufies -
"yes yes , I just said some thing in excitement " COD comes -
asks Tilaga and paati to go to the hotel room and rest -"amma
will take care of the baby" After they leave Durga vents out to hubby -
" we all came together !!! Maamiyar ai epdi gavanikkaraan??" Sadasivam
says that COD is just taking liberties with them, Durga goes on to say
"paatti sandhadi saakule sindhu paadittanga - Kalai per for my grandson??
no way.." Not sure if QBS listens to all this. The police inspector visits
Danda household - mainly to say that Viji is around here only and asks
moron to behave. Moron seems to have some chest pain - says some
lukewarm replies. Inspector leaves.

Hospital - doctor visit - QBS is fine- sleeping?? Durga talks about
Odi pona Kalai Aarasu - " cant name my grand son with that name -
I have dreams of bringing him up !!!" The couple leave and looks
like QBS heard this after all !!

Muzhi and Kavi leave to meet Viswa and Co . Anitha Visits Megs
learns the whole thing and is able to "appreciate" Megs' situation.
Asks Megs to do as Viswa says - " I will take care of maniac - will
tell him that I am stepping in for u.." Megs is happy.

Episode No 537 Tuesday 22/7/09

Hospital - QBS , COD, Parents - usual stuff about the kid -
Tilaga comes after freshening up - Calls Megs to find out
if all is ok with Viswa & co. Megs says that all is fine. COD
happily announces that he has named the baby - D.S.Shiva
D for Diwa, S for Sakthi and Shiva - the clan is happy to hear the
name. Patti digs of course -"horoscope...name.." Durga says
that the father of the child has named -'why question? and the
name is fine.." COD happily asks QBS for her opinion and she
is lukewarm about it -"what is the hurry, now?"

Muzhi and Kavi reach Viswa household - they are discussing
maniac - Lachu says that he lured Megs and Co by money -
she does not mean any thing bad but Muzhi hears half of the
conversation and jumps -" injustice to my akka..blah blah..."
Viswa asks him to leave - after giving him a tight slap. Anitha
goes to the hospital to see maniac - hospital is allola hallola
pattu fying - maniac has scooted leaving a note behind - " I am
unhappy , I take responsibility for my health..blah blah/..." Anitha
reads the note and is told by the doctor that maniac was upset -
"orphan nnu romba varutha pattar.."

Back to QBS and COD - they are alone after a long time. COD is
happy to cootchi coo - tells wifey that all men are waste -" when
u suffered to get the child in tact... habba.. i was worried.." QBS knows
exactly when the iron is hot - is back to her own immature self - " I do not
like the name - D for Durga - S for Sadashivam and Shiva - again yr dad's name...
do not think that I am a fool - I suffered and delivered ..and nee nogame unga
appa amma per vaippe?? Thappu panrathu ellam nee...but u always call me the
sandai kozhi..." COD looks his usual castor oil bathed banana self... well QBS
did hear Durga - verbatim !!!

Episode 538 Wednesday 23/7/09

Sara and Amutha - long time no see !!! - Amutha looks weak
and Sara says that she should not strain herself - as they walk,
Amutha drops the shopping bag - rice is all over the road - both
are trying to collect. Moron comes in the car - sees the duo -
makes a vote of apology - " I am reformed now... sorry for all
what I did...come, stay with us... let us all be together ..like before.."
Amutha hesitates..and moron says that he knows how to make
them come back " koopidaravanga kooppitta varuvinga.." leaves.
Amutha and Sara can not believe their eyes...

Megs shouts at Muzhi for his cashew nut behaviour - "yen da
ange poi adi vaangine?? unnai adicha athu ennai adicha mathiri.."
Sezhi grunts -" ange pona he slaps... inge u scold me.." Megs
asks them both to go back - " i will take care of my problem.."
Anitha comes with a "ghost stricken" face and informs about
maniac scooting . Megs tries to call him but he does not pick up.
She calls the office and is told that maniac is very much there -
"but , no he does not want to talk to u..he is leaving for S'pore"
(aanna oonna S'pore or Malaysia thaann - we are just 3 1/2 hours
away !!! athaan reason aa??? or MAS has drastically reduced the air fare
- athu reason aa??ennavO , engalukku kashta kaalam !!! )
Megs and Anitha decide to go to the office and meet maniac.
Well well, Lachu and dhadi time it well - as Megs and Anitha succeed in
getting an auto, they both land and demand megs' time - "the rift between
u and Viswa is widening..let us set right things.." But Megs is in a hurry
and tells them that she has an urgent work - "let us talk later, ok?" Anitha
promises to remind Megs. Both leave. Lachu fumes that what could be more
important than Viswa and foronce dhadi can not make excuses for Megs.
Lachu decides to call Tilaga - she calls COD's number ..'get me Tilaga" -
Tilaga is told about Megs - "hmm onnum solrappile illai.." Tilaga gets
ready for a RKO.

Megs is told that maniac left for the airport - by the office receptionist -
"en kitte sollittu poittaar " Anitha is informed - both plan to go to the
airport. Kirtana's finace talks about Kalai's family -"odi pona appa...
Megs vishayam..ellam theriyuma appa??" Appa counts only money -
does not bother much about any thing else - amma listens - enna use??

Episode No 539 Thursday

The auto Megs and Anitha came gets in to some trouble and
both the drivers are fighting - Megs is fretting..tries to call maniac
who sees her number and cuts the call -now Anitha also frets..
Finally she calls by her mobile and maniac condescends - picks
the phone and talks - Maniac says that he does not want Megs
to suffer because of him -" her affection for me is pure and
people around her do not appreciate that - I am an orphan blah
blah..." talks as if he is Bhuddha, Jesus and Gandhi rolled in to
one avtar - tells Anitha that he does not want to talk to Megs -
" I know that u both are together.. do not give the phone to her..
i will cry.." - Megs asks for the mobile from Anitha but she respects
maniac's wishes - does not part with the mobile. Finally maniac
says that he is off to S'pore - "bye bye Ani chellam.." Anitha cries
and tells Megs - " oru uthama purushan manasu odainji poraan, he
does not want to talk to you..lest he cries..." ( Avan paranthu poraane..
Megs ai maranthu poraane... drama panni alwa kuduthu ttu Odi poraanee...
- BG by Roja) Kavitha's dad is on to biting and spitting words - he got a
doctor appointment for daughter and she did not honor that - he confronts
athai angrily but she is cool -'ask your daughter, why me??" Words fly
around, Kavi's dad asks her to get out of the house - athai says that this
order has to come from Muzhi !!! Leaves Sundaram to bite and spit some
more - to his wife

Hospital - Tilaga is leaving - to solve Megs -Viiswa problem.
COD says that hismom will take care of QBS and the new born -
"dont worry athai..here is the ticket..." Durga and Sadashivam
come - Durga has a bad cold..as she goes to lift the baby, QBS
says that the doctor warned about infections -"u have a cold..
and so.." (for once she was polite and nice...!!!) Paatti looks at
QBS and nods her head "vendam vendam.." but QBS speaks her
mind - (nothing wrong , the baby needs to be protected after all !!)
Durga comes out of the room and angrily snatches the paper from
hubby -" listen, let us go back..I am not allowed to touch the baby..
I will infect the baby aam.." Hubby is at a loss for words..Tilaga listens
to this and tells COD that she will stay behind. COD comes to know
the situation - goes in to confront QBS - but QBS points out that she
only said what the doctor said. COD sees the point and comes out
to pacify mommy ( ayyo paavam ppa nee, intha tennis match between
mom and wife le nee thaan ball )

Lachu wants to go back to Tiruchur - she is very angry... Viswa tells
her that he pities Megs and not angry with her - " I am out on bail,
cant leave any where now - have to go and sign in the police station..
we will convince Megs, marry and then we leave, ok?" Lachu is not happy !!

Episode 540 Friday 24/7/09

Just a few lines - this merits only so much - As Anitha and
Megs are lamenting about hurting a uthama purushan, Viswa
comes - gets the news and says that the obstacle is out of the
way and now they can get married - Megs asks him to get out
saying there is absolutely no remorse !! Viswa is hurt - leaves.
Just then the TV flashes the news of Maniac's plane crashing -
no survivors - Megs cries some more. Viswa and Co learn the
news and Lachu decides to pay a visit to Megs and Co. Lachu and
dadhi go there - Megs shouts at them saying that they should be
happy now - " vettai nai mathiri avarai thorathi thorathi ippo
konnuttenga.. U are the reason for his death..." Megs as usual
does a kathakali with her hands... Lachu has had enough -
"enna thullare?? unnai vitta we cant get a girl for my darling son?"
Megs morachifies...

Friday Oppari sentiment thaan - maniac is like a cockroach -
athellam avvalavu easy aa saga maattan !!!

Episode 541 Monday 27/7/09

Megs shouts at her would have been (??!!!) parents in law -
saying that a uthama purushan is dead but these people
can not think beyond themselves !!! Tilaga tries to pacify
but Megs says "avanga poi tholaiyattum.." Lachu is livid -
goes to Megs and says - "my son, who is in the jail because of
you ..does not matter, eh??? Ok, we are done.... but you will
pay for all this " storms out - dhadi in tow.

Kavitha's house - Kavi and Muzhi walk in. Pounu says that Sundaram
is upset - "he got the doctor's appointment - city le the best doctor -
but you both did not go there !! Kavi is pregnant and we need to
care more for her. Also, your athai's attagasaam is growing by the
second - your maama just asked some thing -and your athai
said that she is ready to annul your marriage !!! She does not respect
my hubby ...u better do some thing.." Athai is listening to all
this - draws Sezhi alone and says that she has a reason for all
this -"believe me, whatever I do is for your good.." Sezhi plays his
usual ba ba black sheep act.

Kirtana's would be MIL calls Sezhi and tells him that they are doing a
mistake - 'wont u check every thing before u give your girl away??
Your sister will suffer....." as she is talking her hubby cuts the phone.
Beats her ..sonny boy comes and is educated on the latest happenings.
Son is worried that Kirtana's family may get concerned. Daddy asks
sonny to get ready -" we go to sambhandhi's house and set right things"

Moron is thinking about beating Sara and sending them out. Feels
bad and wants to bring them back. Requests Loosu to come along -
"nee koopitta avanga varuvaanga, let us go and bring them back.'
Loosu agrees...

awwww COD and QBS are back to fighting - your mother did this and so
I said this - blah blah. - uh huh frustrating - COD raises his hand, nurse
comes and chides both, paatti tries to put in a word...QBS shouts at paati..
uh huh uh huh

Episode No 542 Tuesday 28/7/09

Athai and Sezhi in conference about the phone call - wondering as
to how to deal with it - Well, Karuna's father lands up with his wife
and preempts - "we got a call about Kirtana's family.... QBS running
away and marrying, yen thambi Kalai running away...You have some one
who is your enemy and does not want your girl to get a good match??"
Athai and Sezhi are relieved - Athai says that they also got a call about
Karuna's family - differences sorted out.

Loosu goes to Sara and tries to convince them to come back to
Danda household.

Lachu curses maniac - "avan pannina paavathukku avan body
kooda kidaikkathu.." Maniac is laughing somewhere - with a
bandage. Asks Samy to go as an envoy - to convince Megs that
he did not die after all - "a plausible story, ok??" Samy agrees.

Episode 543 Wednesday 29/7/09

Athai gets to know about maniac's death and feels bad.
Says that it is the raasi of Megs - Kavitha further says Lachu
came and fought -"no more Viswa" Athai is happy to hear all
this - tells Muzhi that though she does not like Megs, she never
wanted her to suffer. Plans to go and console Megs and Co.

Loosu and Angu - Angu talks about moron's reformation. Wants
Loosu to go all the way - moron overhears this conversation - cries after
Loosu sleeps.

Muzhi checks the papers, calls the airport and infers that maniac
is alive. Goes and informs a crying Megs - all look happy ..

Episode No 544 Thursday 30/7/09

This serial is plunging down the drain and Roja has no
patience left - to hear the same things over and over -
and Megs needs lessons on using her hands - big time !!!
She thinks that it is enough to do a Katahakali with her
eyes and unfortunately, the only family which can appreciate
that Kathakali has been dispensed unceremoniously !!!!

First part - Muzhi confirms ( Rojaaaa, intha serial le ellarukkume
muzhi thaan !!!! ithile entha muzhi nnu, can u be more specific??)
Sezhi muzhi confirms that maniac is alive after all - Megs and Tilaga
cry for that also - enna da kodumai, ellathukkum azhuvingalaa???-
Samy lands on the dot and says the dialog written by maniac - "he
could not take that flight as he was called for some clarification in his
passport, flight missed, did not want to bother Megs , drank some
poison ( yeah sure, serial family nna grocery list will carry a poison
bottle for sure !!!) fortunately I saved...a visit from Megs will be good,
he did not want me to inform u all..." Megs immediately leaves with
him ( Roja theriyaame thaan kekkaraa - so much of confusion connecting
Megs and maniac and Lachu calling it a day has just happened. Tilaga,
wont u go along with Megs??? How do u send her alone???)

QBS - ayyointha kodumai athai vida mosam - intha ponnu enna
kirukka?? - QBS discharges herself from the hospital and goes
somewhere along with paati - she did not inform COD - the car
breaks down on the way and paati tries to put some sense - well
all the sane talk falls in to deaf ears - QBS is ready to ditch paati
also half the way - paati begs and gets her back in to the car. COD
goes to the hospital and learns that darling wife scooted with sonny
boy and paati. Shouts at the doctor who claims no responsibility.
Calls dad and tells him the news - dad promises to do some thing.
Durga cross questions hubby and for once the man is angry - asks
her to leave him in peace and goes out.

Intro of a new character - romba mukkiiiaaammmm - This Karuna
has an elder brother who is a drunkard - comes and shouts at dad -
by the way the dad is Balu - Karna manhandles, Meenkshi pleads
with both sons - what we learn from this is that Balu has
murdered one girl - possibly the drunkard's wife - son no 1
now knows that Karuna is getting married and has come to plead
for that unknown girl - we all know that it is Kirtana... Son no 1
is necked out...Balu shouts at his wife for producing a son like this...
