My brief viewpoints of CB !!

I feel that starting today? the show has already taken a turn for the better, even though it doesn't seem so.... The reason I feel this way is because some major things have happened compared to all previous epis... Even a month ago we wouldn't have dreamt radhika becomig a sevika, Vish flying off to Bombay, leading to babuji's dil ka daura..... But just loved the moment when Dev tells babuji that ~ "radhika mil gayi hai", and the hopeful sitar playing in the background.... It was priceless !!

Also rem ? when Dev "decides" with this firm resolve on his face, and tells radhika when she walks away ~ "par tumhe tumhare babuji ki baat to manani hi padegi.... Here, I believe he says that after carefully listening to what guruji said earlier ~ "bhagwan ke saame haath phaila? do to kisi doosre ke saamne haath phailane ki zaroot nahin padti".... As a big fan, I had to pause and echo those words in my own mind, and the depth in his words... Also, it seems quite obvious that Guruji already "observed" deep connection between Dev and sevika Radhika...

And the answer is .... BABUJI.... Now what remains to be seen is whether or not kanha hears radhika's prayers, esp when He's babuji's kanha first and foremost..... In an odd sort of way, I wonder if you all feel that starting tomorrow there are going to be a host of scenarios, dramas, poojas, pravachaans at the ashram, being the? battleground of what's to happen, what's to come, what all needs to be resolved and how ... How, when and what decisions, nirnayas, are going to be formed??? Will there be discussions between these 2 maharathis re their respective crafts, moh maya struggles versus renunciation ??? Who knows .... ashram may become the platform for these two great actors to not only show their prowess, but also their shuddha Hindi jugalbandis.... It's going to be a tough act to follow... IMO....

Guru knows radhika only for few days now, while babuji knows his daughter, her sacrifices, yes, her weaknesses and why she has them all her life... Both Dev and Radhika "know" how babuji is going to shape her destiny from this point forward..... Along the way, babuji will even suspect his own amma that she had something horrible to do with radhika leaving home..... He also knows that radhika cannot live under the same roof with the wretched fat? witch.

Babuji may even take severe steps to ask amma to get the hell out of Vrindavan along with her ugly mouth (was itching to say that !!)..... Radhika needs shakti from her kanha tenfold now than ever before. Lot of Q's, will she or will she not leave the ashram ?? My prediction from past experiences..... emphatic and resounding ...NO, she wont.... Guru will wield big influence on radhika's nirnaya.... As usual, there's lot on the CB plate, including Vish / purab / Bombay /daadi / vaishali, and rest of Delhi clown clan..... For 2-3 days at least, is Bombay going to be yet another platform for some untoward plots coz of Mrin's bure iraade.

Maa is slowly but surely speaking up, and saying certain truths that she avoided facing until now.... She's becoming more and more forthright, now trying her best to do her patni dharm better than ever before.... even standing against amma's wild shenanigans..... even trying to be honest with herself for spoiling Vish (naam ka zahar) ... no more covering up for Vish, even claiming accountability for her own part in it... But of course, as per precap, as usual amma's going to change the direction of the wind... she's going to plot and concoct yet another yojna, and is going to win and no one else, again, for now !!

Lastly, I think the long-awaited bhoomipooja (groundbreaking ceremony) is really going to break some grounds.... I'm just curious to know its significance in bigger scheme of things and in what fashion it's going to shape many different outcomes in coming weeks... If some of you would like to enlighten us on that subject... would be great... perhaps .... anukapoor.... and perhaps what kind of rivaaz, rasams will directly impact the lives of our RaDev jodi...

That said, I have to slightly disagree, M, regarding radhika's kartavya, because I somehow believe that she (writers) knows that while in ashram she has no choice but to say those words to dev ~ it's like ~~~ marta kya na karta ~~. Prior to ashram, the only way she could do her patni dharm (in delhi) and in absentia in Vrin, was thru all sorts of vat savitri, hariyali amavasya, akhand deep, etc. etc. Ittefaaq se even vibhuti was applied (epi May 6) by dev's "patni"..... All her life she's been a mere puppet at the hands of the evils around her (who shall remain nameless coz we know who and what they are).... As a person with zero self esteem and total oblivion to her own needs, she has been wondering thru her life with no direction.... All her life her kartavya towards babuji has been nothing short of exemplery, but it abruptly stopped when the puppet was thrown away by that evil force.... Ashram scenario changes everything, lock stock and barrel....

kbedi, your wonderful comments are great, but my 2c believe that in radhika's world of servitude, she cannot exactly carry out Mahabhart's big lesson of karmanye ma phaleshu... Still one karma she has been doing against all odds is .... just giving and giving.... Sorry if my views differ, guys !!!

BTW, I read your thread Karam Bhoomi in the morning and as I told brishti (thru PM) I had been having major virus problem with my computer off and on for 3-4 days now.... hence haven't replied to some very interesting posts including yours yet.

So these two great thorough gentlemen, coupled with ma with renewed vision, who even changes the bed sheet (oh my, how touchy can that be...) ye jante huye bhi ki bitiya hamesha zameen par soti aai hai... that touched me immensely, immediately following baap aur beti ka milan ... I actually cried ... and the way Dev ke chehre pe sukoon jhalak raha tha, watching the two embrace, and such a faint lovely smile and happiness? on his face.. just priceless...

Today the kind of confidence and conviction Dev imbibed was in many ways much more stronger, more powerful than before ... it's as if these adversities are an opportunity for him to realize his own belief and human vulnerabilities that we can never be as powerful and "in control" in front of god's infinite wisdom and that our destinies are already carved out by him.... And he says ~ par main ab janta hoon, tum khud ghar wapas aayogi, ab main kuch nahin karoonga, jo bhi karenge kanha hi karenge, aur tum to janti hi ho ki jab kanha ki marzi hoti hai, to woh baat ho ke hi rahti hai...And this time he really puts her on the spot, as if challenging her resolve again..... Dev now realizes that us homo sapiens cannot change the tide of times as HE is the ultimate power..... Ek na ek din hum sabko uske upar chhodna padta hai.... We cannot always control the circumstances. The circumstances control us, coz kanha's designs are different from us mortals.....

Now, what's going to be really interesting to watch (isn't that the case every day !!) from tomorrow is what action, more like inaction Dev is going to take, i.e. leave everything to kanha and let HIM guide radhika along.... At least now we will see a different, a non-dejected lover, a positive Dev, no tears for good, only smiles....

While makers didn't have to show whatever discussion took place between babuji and his steadfast daughter, I felt odd that she could so easily convince babuji..... Agreed that JD and other senior sevika painted a rosy but true picture of how happy radhika appeared in ashram activities and chores, we saw a look on babuji's face that clearly indicated that he would only take his beti back to same paristhitiyan, and obviously was thinking about his own evil fatso witch-like mother.... Sadly my prediction 2 days ago that that old hag, as usual, will win in her yojna, came tue.... Except she didn't even have to "plan" anything..... Of course kanha didn't listen to her 108 mala jaap either.... Kanha is doing all this, IMO, to make these two lovers, evolve and recognize their own strengths, grow in their own maturity, stand up for themselves, esp radhika... for which she needs her own freedom, bloom within herself before she can face worldly cruelties she grew up in.....
