just read dis.bloody awesomeeeeeLast week, the media grapevine was abuzz with rumours about television star Karan Singh Grover's first Bollywood film. It has now been confirmed that Karan Singh Grover will debut in Vikram Bhatt's Bhaag Johny. The film will be directed by Deepak Tijori and Karan will be seen romancing three girls in the film.
Tijori confirmed the story. He said, "We have been looking for a lead actor for sometime. We wanted an actor who could carry off the film and carry out a romantic sequence just as well as comedy or action. Karan's agency heard about that role and got in touch with us. When we met him, we thought that he was the right choice and he was signed on for the film. We are also introducing three girls in the film, Shruti Agrawal, Natasha Suri and a foreigner Vaughn. It's a cast full of newcomers and I am very excited and looking forward to this project as Fox is also complete now. It's a thriller and we are going to have lot of fun on the film."
His choice of leading man also has his daughter's seal of approval. He added, "My daughter and her friends are hooked to Karan's show (Dill Mill Gaye) and I had also seen him on the reality dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa."

Deepak Tijori's new film 'Bhaag Johnny'

He has just completed the big-budget film FOX, staring Sunny Deol and Arjun Rampal in the lead. And has moved on to a relatively smaller project, in scale. It's called BHAAG JOHHNY and surprisingly, this one will star newcomers in principal roles - one hero and three new heroines. That's Deepak Tijori's new baby.
"It's a hardcore thriller. Vikram Bhatt [he's producing the film] and I've been keen to work with each other for a long time, but we couldn't lay our hands on the right script, to begin with. But when we heard the concept of BHAAG JOHNNY, we decided to lock it then and there," Deepak smiles.
Deepak is working with rank newcomers in BHAAG JOHNNY, immediately after working with some well-established stars in FOX. "The script did it for me. Plus, Vikram is a good producer and I trust him implicitly. Besides, the demand of the script was fresh faces," Deepak reasons. The film will be shot in Thailand extensively.

After Johnny Gaddaar and Tera Kya Hoga Johnny, there is one more Johnny-titled flick in B-Town Bhaag Johnny!
The thriller is produced and written by Vikram Bhatt. Bhaag Johnny has Deepak Tijori as director and stars Muzzamil Ibrahim in the lead along with two female newbies.
Decades ago, there was also a Johnny I Love You and a Johnny Mera Naam.
Says Tijori, "I have always had a fancy to the Johnny title. It is something that has endured.
Bhaag Johnny fits perfectly to the storyboard."
The film deals with the subject of what happens if a person has a choice to lead two lives.
As Tijori puts it, "The protagonist is a Johnny who makes this choice and what happens to him unfolds in a series of events."
It is learnt that the filming of Bhaag Johnny will start in June. At the moment the makers are scouting for locations.
"It is a start-to-finish schedule with most of the shoot happening abroad, most probably in Singapore," informs Tijori.
About Muzzamil as his choice of hero, the director says, "My decision was based after seeing him in Dhokha. I had made it a point to see Pooja Bhatt's film."
Tijoir is also directing the Sunny Deol-Arjun Rampal starrer Fox for Zee.
