I looked at everyone and noticed what I said. I clamped my hands to my mouth but it was the truth. I finally took the courage to say it and now I'm scared. Why? If they don't agree we'll run. Yeah run away. I looked at all their faces and let my hands fall to my sides. "you love sagar" mom asked. I nodded and run off to my room not wanting to see their astonished faces. I just ran to the terrace of the house. And stood their holding on to the railing and looking outside into the night sky. I should have just let Sagar go with his plan instead of this. His way must've been more logical. I closed my eyes and took in the fresh air and suddenly out of nowhere I felt someone tap my shoulder. I immediately turned around and hugged him. I knew it was Sagar. I can always tell. His presence is known to me by my heart his touch has written lines memorized by my heart and brain and his voice touches my soul. I hugged him not wanting to let go at all. I hid my face in his jacket taking in his scent. I felt him wrap his arms around me and I felt him nuzzling himself into my hair. He let his hands fall to my waist. We stood there just hugging and taking each other's presence in. His hands moved from my back to my waist holding me closer to him and filling in all the loose gaps. I bought my hands to his neck and looked at him in his eyes. He leaned in and kissed me, his lips grazing on mine softly and swiftly. Our lips moved in sync as if they were meant to be locked. He pulled away and planted a small kiss on my lips. He hugged my again and I hugged back immediately. We just stood there hugging each other. He pulled away lightly and held my hands. "Vidya I need to tell you something important" he said softly. He looked in my eyes so that I could process what he was saying with my heart. "After you left, they asked me questions the usual how, when, what. But I told them that it didn't matter to us what they felt all that mattered was that we loved each other more than anything. I also told them that my ms. Sher would be my mrs.sher and that we wouldn't sacrifice our love. I told them that we're going to be that Romeo and Juliet with a happy ending. And guess what?" he said moving his hands from my hands to hold my face. "They told me that I was the boy that they were talking about. So" he said kneeling down on the ground. "will you marry me Ms. Sher and become mrs. Sher my wife. That woman who I'll live with through thick and thin, will you have my kids? Will you grow old with me? Can I have you to hold forever? Will you be Mrs. Vidya Sagar Pratap Singh or what?" he said. He opened his arms as he was on the ground. I knelt down and I hugged him. I leaned in and gave him a peck. "Yes" I said as I looked at him in the eyes. All I could see was happiness and I was attacked with a hug. He hugged me and then picked me up bridal style and carried me inside. He carried me to my room and the whole way we kept looking at each other. He placed me on the bed and started kissing me. I kissed him but stopped. I pushed him away lightly. "None of this before we get married alright Mr. Sagar Pratap Singh." He pouted and walked to my door but turned around. " Good night. I love you" he said as he walked off. But before he closed the door I called out to him "Sagar" I yelled. He stopped in his tracks. " I love you too" I said, as I said that he smiled at me and left. I couldn't believe everything was going right. Everything was falling into place.

I sat on the bed hugging my knees close to my chest. As each minute passed my heart beat increased. As the time passed I became more agitated yet voracious. My mind raced back to the time at the mundit where I officially became his, when I became Mrs. Vidya Sagar Pratap Singh. And that was only 15 minutes ago but I feel as if all the happiness just flooded into my arms and embraced me in a bear hug.

Flashback

I walked down the stairs slowly keeping my gaze low; I could feel the sudden blush emerge on face. The girls were all giggling. Then papa came by me and let out a hand. I took it as he escorted me. "Today you truly look like a timeless beauty. Me and your mama would often think when you were little about your marriage but we never thought it would come so soon and how much happiness and sorrow it would bring us" papa said. I looked at him and I saw tears stream down his face. "Papa please don't cry. I'll always be your little girl." I stopped walking and embraced him in a hug. I let out a couple of tears. Papa let go and mama came over. "Beti they say that when a girl is wedded off it hurts a lot but I never thought it would hurt so much. Seeing you grow up in front of my eyes, seeing you become a woman and now seeing you getting married it makes me believe that only a daughter could bring such a feeling to her parents. Thank you" I stopped mama and gave her a hug and I heard her cry and I started crying too. Mama released from the hug and touched my cheek softly. "ma thank you" I said. I walked over to the mundit and saw Sagar. His eyes followed each step that I took. He smiled at me softly and I just blushed. I sat down and looked at Sagar while the rituals began. I looked at my hands that were covered with mehndi and I looked at Sagar and caught him staring at me. He winked at me and took my hand.

Flashback ends

That was 15 minutes back and now my heart was racing faster than ever. As the door knob turned I smiled.

Sagar stepped into the room. He observed Vidya from a far. After awhile he stepped further and Vidya's heart beat got faster. He sat down on the edge of the bed and Vidya got up and off the bed. She walked over to the balcony and Sagar followed her and smiled to himself. Sagar hugged her from behind and she turned around and hugged him. He pulled away and looked at her face and caressed it lightly and placed soft kissed on both her cheeks. She walked away and sat in front of the vanity. Sagar came behind her and took off her earrings. He kissed her on the neck softly as he started taking off her necklace. He left some kisses along her jaw line as he took it off. He then took off her bangles and kissed her wrist. He picked her up Bridal style and laid her down on the bed. He went down to her feet and took off her payals. He took her hands in his and kissed them. He leaned forward and kissed Vidya on the lips slowly and passionately as he was doing that he took off her dupatta. He slowly slid off a part of the blouse to reveal her shoulder. He kissed her there and slid it back on and kissed her on her neck. He kissed her lips softly and caressed her face. "I love you" he said. "I love you too" Vidya replied closing her eyes as Sagar took over.
