yup divs i do ..... have visited haldirams in delhi i couple of times .... i donno if dey r in mumbai though 😆

Kanz, just read the intro...its awesome 👏👏👏....i love the law angle...i guess its inspired by real life 😉 who else would have imagined Gunjan as a lawyer except for Kanz? its a superb intro...and different
fan fic seems so real...from the characters to the dialogues....the annoying seniors (deodhar and shukla)....the challenges of gunjan's work environment...
awesome!! it seems like there will be some majan scenes as well...yea :D

love how u maintained the essence of both Nupur n Gunjan....Nupur i assume is a fashion designer since she runs a boutique and supplies exporters with clothing (and has a good sense of style)? I loved the part when Nupur praised Gunjan but Gunjan said nothing....just tried to change the subject as she is not good at handling praises...she doesnt wanna make her talent public...maybe that can be related to her law career as well

Part 2

gunjan was actually glad she decided to stay behind ..... no doubt she had come her to spend time with nupur but being here in mumbai almost seem to be having a therapeutic effect on her !!!!

she knew being in delhi she would never have been able to find time for herself ...... she had actually picked up all these books over the past few months and never got around to reading them ....well this vacation this is precisely what she would do .... get back to her first love .... how she missed her childhood days when she would do nothing but just sit in her favorite spot in the garden ( under the huge mango tree ) n read .... at times even her mom couldnt find her !!!!

ring ringggggggggggggg ringggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

the sound of the doorwell brought gunjan out of her trance ...... who could be here at this hour .... ok mayb mumbaikars have a different sense of timing ... or maybe 8 at night isnt all that late .... gunjan get a grip ..... 8 PM isnt all that late be it anywhere in the world

gunjan hurried to get the door .... whooever was standing on the otherside of the door wasnt getting any patient having to wait for her 2 get the door.

samrat reached out to press the doorbell for the third time when he found nupur opening the door .... only it wasnt NUPUR ... huh

" hi is nupur there "

" am sorry shes not here at the moment "

" oooh is it .... well ok can you let me know when will she be back .. am samrat by the way and you r "

" hi am gunjan and nupur should be back in a week ... shes in delhi at the moment and samrat ....ehhh i think she tried reaching you before leaving for delhi "

" well yeah i was kinda busy running around with my stuff " said samrat and absentedmindly walked into nupur's apartment much to gunjan's bewilderment

" wait WHAT shes in DELHI .....how on earth ....." samrat was totally confused .... nupur's in delhi ...and there this strange pretty girl in her apartment while nupur is in delhi .. how on earth... was nupur ok ... why did she leave for delhi without informing him ..... and he had no clue why this gunjan was in nupur's apartment and .......

I got my first real six-string bought it at the five-and-dime played till my fingers bled it was summer of

samrat mental tirade was interrupted by his cell phone .... he reached out for it and NUPUR's name was flashing .... thank god she called

" gunjan please excuse me for a few mins ... i need to answer this call "

gunjan just nodded her head and samrat answered his phone

" nupur thank god you called where have u been ................. offcourse i know you are in delhi .. gunjan told me and i am standing in your apartment .... what i mean is why ........ i am not overreacting i just wish you had called me before leaving ................ i know you called twice i was really busy with the gig ........... am sorry nups ..... really ................nups sunno toh ....... listen atleast ..... nope i am not upset ...... its just that .......

gunjan couldnt help but smile .... nupur seem to be giving a nice dose to samrat .... she remembered how mad nupur was when samrat wasnt answer her phone ...... even then she had felt sorry for this poor soul .... nupur never liked being ignored howsoever busy one might be ... her motto was whats the point in carrying a cell phone if you arent going to attend the calls ...... offcourse at that time she had no idea she would get to witness it all ...... n samrat ..... hmmm he seemed like a nice guy espically with the way he was trying to pacify nupur on the phone ..... she had heard nupur mention him a few times over the phone and in person but had never met him ..... well today of all the days i had to meet him ... gunjan quickly turned around before samrat saw her smiling at him ... she couldnt help it

" ok nups you take care .....see you in a few days and seems like gunjan and i will have to end up eating the gulab jamuns i bought for u .................. what do you mean its not fair ... i got them for you .... u are not here ...someone has to eat them ..... ok bye am hanging up now "

samrat hung up on her before she started again .... boy was it crazy or what ..... having this conversation in nupur's apartment in front of her friend who for some strange reason was standing with his back to him

" gunjan "

quickly gunjan composed herself ..... gosh she would die of embarrassment if he caught her laughing at him and turned around to face him ( it took all her self control to keep a straight face )

" yeah "

" you in a mood for some gulab jamuns "

" yeah sure let me get the plates "

ok this is getting stranger by the minute .... am in nupur's partment having GULAB JAMUNS with this guys who by the way was the subject of my amusement a few mins back ..... thought gunjan while reaching out for the plates .... well asking him to leave would really sound soo rude ... plus he seems to be really gud friends with nupur ..... ughhhhh nupur why did you have to leave !!!!

nupur kept her phone and couldnt help smiling ..... samrat sounded sooooo hyper and confused on the phone .... well it wasnt my fault ... if only he had taken my calls he would have been spared of this

nupur burst out laughing ... oh god i wonder what gunjan must be thinking ... samrat ki toh image ka remix bann gaya aur woh bhi bilkul ghatiya wala

nupur had reached delhi today morning and already she was in love with this place ...gunji is such a whinner .... delhi delwalon ki .... wasnt there a popular saying something to this effect .....

ok so the weather was terrible .... so that didnt change the fact that the city was sooooo gripping ..... there was something in the air ... nupur couldnt quite place her finger on it ... but well she was here and would find out soon !!!

nupur thought about giving gunjan a call ....... hmmm mayb later

she reached out in her make up bag and removed her face pack .. no harm in looking extra nice for the presentation ... nupur thought and smiled to herself and headed for the bathroom .

" mayank yeh toh kya kar raha hai ..... gunjan ki friend aayi hai mumbai se toh toh kyun ussese milne jaa raha hai ... its gunjan's duty she should do it on her own ..." mayank cribbed to himself !!!

he really hated having to go out of his way to be all nice and sweet to people .... it just wasnt his style ..... even with his proffessional life he was always brusque and to the point ......well there wasnt a way out here .. gunjan would kill him if he didnt meet her friend ... what was her name again .....nupur .... mayank sighed and reached for the elevator door and pressed the 5th floor button

nupur in the meanwhile was curled up on the couch reading a magzine waiting for her face pack to dry up.

knock knock

nupur luked up from her magzine and wondered if she had imagined this knocking sound.

knock knock knock

this time it was firmer and louder ..... ok someone is definately at the door thought nupur and ran to get the door.

mayank was irritated .... already he didnt wanna be here and this girl wasnt even bothering to open the door .... WHAT THE HE

mayank couldnt believe his eyes

" aaaaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh "

" aaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh "

" tum kyun cheekh rahi ho "

" kyunki tum chilaye ... who are you "

" i am mayank .... mayank sharma .... gunjan's brother and i screamed coz you r looking so ...... " said mayank pointing to her face . He couldnt bring himself to complete the sentence ... she luked damn scary with all that pink gook on her face ... he had walked on on gunjan once while she had a similar pack on her face and she had chewed him alive when he had told her how scary she looked .

" Oh " said nupur and touched her face and realised that her face pack was still on . No wonder the poor guy screamed .... gosh she couldnt help but giggle to herself

" come on in ... i will just go and wash it off " saying this nupur invited him inside and went off to wash her face

mayank walked into the room with a bewildered expression on her face.

gunjan was amazed at how effortlessly she was able to converse with samrat ..... it didnt seem as if they were meeting for the first time.

" so gunjan am going to ask you a cliched question which you must answered a million times ..... did you always wanted to be a lawyer "

gunjan found this style of asking quite endearing and answered " ummmmm not really it kept changing while i was growing up .... sometimes i wanted to be a pilot ..... at it would change to being a doctor ...... you know how those years are ... but once i was in college i realised i wanted to be a lawyer so i joined law school ... what about you "

" hmmmmm me i always always knew i wanted to do something in music ..... theres nothing more satisfying than doing something you adore the most ..... so here i am having my own music bar .... ministry of sound "

" a music bar .. sounds interesting .. tell me more about it "

" ok v have gigs there every thursday night where upcoming groups get to perform ... its actually quite an experience for these guys ... at times i also perform with them as the lead guitarist but that just once in a while .....other times am too busy managing the place ...... gosh the effort it takes to run this place ... not that i am complaining ... i love running this place and offcourse i have the most amazing team working for me .... those the energy these people have ...... " and samrat went on about his first passion music and his BAR

gunjan couldnt help but think " hes so passionate about his work .....i wonder what that must feel like .... "

nupur came out of the bathroom to find mayank sitting on the couch looking slightly confused. She walked up to him and said " Hi mayank i am nupur ... gunjan's friend "

mayank found himself looking at her and the first thing he noticed how her were here eyes .... they say eyes are the windows to the soul ... nupur had the most arresting pair of eyes he had ever seen ..... there was something in them that he just couldnt help staring at her

He somehow managed to come out of his reverie and replied " hi nupur its a pleasure meeting you ... so gunjan told me you here to meet your clients "

" yeah my client insisted of having a meeting here ..... i feel most upset at having left gunjan back in mumbai but it would have been worse dragging her all the way back to delhi .... especially since shes in a dire need for a break "

" well if i can be of any help to you just let me know ... heres my number "

" sure will call you in case i need anything "

" in that case i should get going you have had a long day ...will see you later .... take care "

mayank nodded and let himself out of her room and closed the door .

is there something wrong with my face ..... did the face pack end up having some reversed effect wondered nupur. Nupur went to the mirror and found herself looking normal ...she couldnt fanthom why would anyone behave this aloof and for some strange reason mayank's behaviour really bothered her. " Hmmm mayank sharma ..... naah ... i think mayank sadoo sharma suits him better " nupur thought ... so sadoo it is then .

" mayank that wasnt rude at all ... u sat with her for a few minutes ... gave her you number and the whole welcome to delhi speech ... what more could you do " mayank tried to justify to himself that his abrupt departure from nupur's room was totally justifiable ...... but in his hearts of hearts he knew he hadnt behaved nice ... oh god gunjan finds out and she will totally screw up me for this ..... he still couldnt understand why he had acted so wierd .... he left things at that and headed home .........

ok gunjan what was that .... you barely know him and gonig for some gig with him ..... what where you thinking ... gunjan got really worked up .... she didnt know why she said yes ...... seriously what was she thinking ... this wasnt in the plan ... oh yeah now she had a plan ... yeah she had a plan enjoy her break and just take it easy ... which is preciously why she had agreed to go out with samrat ... ok so she was going out to this music bar which sounded really interesting .... she deserved to enjoy herself ....... gunjan left it to that ... she knew she would go crazy the more the thought about this !!!!

samrat couldnt help but smile after leaving nupur's apartment ... gunjan really seemed like a nice person and he was glad he aasked her out for the gig .

NOTE: i dont know how many of u liked the idea of having mayank and gunjan as brother and sister but its something i wanted to experiment with ( i dont intend to irk the majan/ non majan fans here 😳 ) .... gunjan and nupur r sisters in the show ...... i dont think i could have done a better job with them ... and somhow nupur and sam werent fiting in as siblings ..... so anyways i hope you all still like my FF 😊
