am not lording it over my regionalism or being a southie stuff

but pavitra rishta isnt ekta's creation..she bought the rights froma south soap...

my mom used to watch it..and as far as I remember ..they are kind of a dignified couple..i dont think I ever remember the lead couple getting into a quarrel..she however is cheated into marrying this garage guy.. she knows he is not an engineer but a garage worker only on the wedding date..however..... she marries.... be ready for a lot of snoopy and weird relatives though

Yeah, I"d read in the forum that it's a copy of a South soap or something to that effect....even KMH apparently is the copy of something....not sure what :S lol

I mentioned regionalism because I find it considerably in I-F..I dont really care about it but eww I even found it in DID forums..

KMH was a movie! and it was okay! but this one was screwedup beyond recognition

^ That is the new promo? I don't know what to say... except any time in Indian shows when a girl starts liking a guy, and in the initial stages... Why does she catch the guy without a shirt? I have seen it in DMG, KDMHMD, and now MJHT. I'm sure this is the case in other shows too, but this whole deal with the guy without a shirt is so awkward. lol. Poor girl does not know, whether to stand and drool, or run out of the room. What else can she do?

GG: These are basically cheap tricks to raise TRPs....show the hero shirtless, all the fangirls will drool....ka ching! And the cash registers are ringing *rolls eyes*

Obviously no one cares for how/if this has any point to the storyline...oh excuse me "storyline" of MN in this show.

Anu - I agree with you. This really does not fit in the storyline at all. It is not like Mayank at all to walk around without a shirt on, and besides AB does not look all that great in the promo. The fan girls will still be drooling? I don't think many girls drool over catching a guy without a shirt, and these people just think TRP's will raise due to this. Anyway, why don't they show Sammy boy without a shirt? Now, that will be interesting. I would love to read Mohit fans thoughts on that :-) Besides I hope none of the guys watch some of these shows, and think girls drool over guys without a shirt.. nahin toh, a few days later we will catch every guy walking around without a shirt claiming it is the summer, hence very hot, and trying to patao the girl ;-)

LOL GG.....yaar the fangirls have been in hyperdrooling mode since this promo came out....and the way PD herself promoted this in her 'scoops', the intention behind this scene being put in is pretty obvious.....this is what the fangirls want, that's why it's being shown.

Sammy boy shirtless?? LMAO....that's all that's left now *cringes*.....I think Mohit fans have got their recent fill of him shirtless thanks to that Monaya photoshoot...so they're cool for now......hahaa

I don't know what to say. Really. I mean when AB was playing the geeky, sarcastic, and cool character in the beginning he didn't have a whole lot of fans instead Samrat had a huge fan following, since he was Mr. Popular, and playing a flirt. Now that AB is preaching on LOWE, and walking around like a LOWE guru he is up on the popular list. I think after this episode his fan following will increase even more. *shakes head in disappointment*
