Are you still searching for that second job? Because I suggest you stop, today was a killer, I have a severe headache. I guess that's partly because I didn't have a proper meal all day until now and was surviving on a cup of tea and a banana nut muffin all day. That led to a severe headache, plus got into an argument with my boss, and then came home and had to listen to my mom's outburst on how could I possibly go a whole day without a proper meal. Anywhoo --- point is, be happy with your first job.

Well im only doing 14 hours in my first job and obviously i need something more than that to keep me occupied. I might quit my first job if i get a full time summer job to keep me occupied for summer..anyways my first job is quite pointless...2.5 hours everyday is a laugh - only God knows how i managed to survive 9 months in there...im still searching, i had my interview about a week ago...i havent heard back from them yet..ach well..

why did you not eat all day? i read somewhere that you had an hour break between your first and second job? why did you not eat then silly? you should have packed yourself lunch if eating outside was not convenient...talking about not eating all day cos of work, i have been through that myself...i was like yourself just an year ago, that time i worked in retail and overtime was not a problem. I would work like 9-9pm 6 days a week and surviving only on liquid majority of the time..i lost about 2 stones under 4 months lolz..i have put my weight back on now though he he he.

So your working 8-5 about four days a week? my advice...dont kill yourself, pack yourself plenty of lunch and high energy drinks to keep you going...job should be for experience and for learning not for stressing or killing yourself...dont do that you to yourself again babes.

Oh - in all my rants, I forgot that I had a point here. 😆 So I checked my grades for last semester today and had some surprising shocks in store for me --- and I realized now that as much as I want med school, practically speaking, I'm not going to get it. There is so much competition that I think med school admissions officers will laugh at my application. I always believe that if you want something enough in life, and work for it, there is a high possibility that you will get it. There's also a low possibility that you won't -- and perhaps then it is best that you don't get it, and follow what fate has in store for you. I'm a big fan of OSO dialogues as we all know -- and one of them that I love with all my heart goes something like this ...
"Agar kisi cheez ko poore dil se chaho, toh poori qayanat usse tumse milane ki koshish me lag jaati hai".

What is your opinion/perspective of that in life? Do you think that hard work and enough will gets you what you want? Or does fate play a bigger role in life?

Life is a game, some are lucky and gamble nothing but win everything, basically the lazy ones that are born with all the wealth and wordy materialistic to keep them happy and they have whats called the ''easy'' life...the other type of people are the ones that gamble their everything to win but end up losing everything they have gambled - those ones are the ''stragglers'' of life ...now if you want to call this fate or destiny its up to you...all i know that the person that has gambled everything in their life are never the losers...they are in the sense true winners. They are the stragglers and they have struggled in their every path of life to mark a place for themselves in the world, they have struggled every second, every moment to survive. Fate is something that has God has written for us but as you said OSO dialogue, fate can be changed...its has been made to change....if you watch the tele and look around yourself, the many successful, bright names that are shining all across the world..where did they start from? nothing, they changed their fate and worked hard to reach their high status position...

True, very true...if there is something you really desire in your life, then you have to face all the struggles in life that come your way.

Ajnu, at this moment i know your sad cos of your results...but ajnu there is a reason for everything that happens in life...sometimes results are not as expected, we blame the fate, we blame everything around us...but do we ever blame ourself? Did you put in your every bit of effort to achieve what you wanted? did your passion ever drop? did you let the midnight candle burn? if you did all that, and still failed...then let me tell ya, you havent failed..you have learned. If you didnt do that then you made a mistake but still learned. There may be something else stored for you in the corner....fate may have some other decision for you...but never let fate overtake your passion...let the passion of your life burn anything that stands beside you and your dreams.

If you think positive, things would look positive. If you think negative, things would look negative. Its all about how we think. If you think fate decides everything for you, then fate would decide everything for you. If you think your passion could never stop you from achieving what you want in life, then your passion would lead to your dream
