Swatiiii🤗

Doneee reading the whole thing!! All i can say is wowwwww!!! That was something just beautiful. All the 8 parts were total treats i have to say hands down!!

Starting of with the name of the fic...i have to say its a very charismatic, yup mite seem a misfit but yet i have to say a very beautiful name!! And the best part being the poem/verse u started off with. It was one amazing verse!! Kudos for it!!

Next....ur fic...itsjust so sweet, simple and yet u cant just help but feelost in it...i mean with such beautiful simple characters, the way u pen and portray them just kinda leaves u entranced. I loved the mother-daughter bonding babes!! And so is the bonding between AR developing just brilliantly!!

Like the last part for instance...the way she invited him home and later ultimately they ate out...it so very sweet and adorable...and yet u cud feel their bonding delve down deeper. Kudos girl!! U have me hooked!! And the promo sounds quite interesting. Looking forward eagerly babes!!

Love u loads!!

PART 9

Armaan was so surprised to see Ridhima nearly fleeing away from him. Had she not seen him? He thought. He was concerned about her health. She was pretty weak yesterday and was now not even paying him any attention. He went after her and after they had both covered a considerable distance he shouted her name. Ridhima turned around with a nervous smile on her face. She was not looking at him but was looking down. Armaan came up to her panting.

"Are you hard of hearing?" Armaan asked Ridhima amused at the way she was trying to go away from him. Ridhima mustered up the courage to lift her face and look at him .He was smiling at her in an amused way. Maybe he doesn't remember what happened yesterday .Which guy remembers anything anyway? She thought. She smiled nervously at him.

"No, it's nothing like that. It's just that I didn't hear you." Ridhima said stammering.

"Isn't that the same thing?" Armaan looked at Ridhima. This girl is really one of its kinds. He thought.

"Oh! Yes. I remember. Hard of hearing means that you can't hear. Get that." She said stupidly, meanwhile Armaan's expression changed from amused to shock. "Thanks Armaan, I will see you later. Bye" She turned around to go while Armaan was still figuring out what got into her head. He never knew that Ridhima was stupid. She hadn't behaved like this anytime.

*DING!* He remembered what had got into her and chuckled remembering what happened last night. That is the reason? Oh my gosh! She so cute!!! He thought while silently laughing at the way Ridhima was so damn nervous to come in front of him. While he had been working this out, Ridhima had gone away from there. She was walking in the corridor ahead of him, not even daring to look back at him, or even sideways for that matter. He decided to play along with her and did heed her much till they were called to the nurse station for their respective duties.

"Doctors, the duties will remain same as they were yesterday." Dr. Keerti said while Ridhima was praying that she would not get duty with Armaan. Just as Keerti said that the duties were to remain the same, she murmured a silent but loud enough 'shit!' due to which the other interns stifled a laugh.

"Any problem Dr. Ridhima?" Keerti looked at her sternly enough that she soon forgot the very reason due to which she was upset.

"No, no. Mam everything is alright." Ridhima replied nervously while Armaan was having a hearty laugh seeing the mess she had landed herself into.

"I hope that you have been keeping well." Keerti said waiting for an answer to come her way. When she didn't get any she repeated her question in a more bold voice that Ridhima was zapped out of her day dreams.

"Yes, Mam. I am completely okay now." Ridhima started to explain. She was still thinking about the moments she spent with Armaan the last night and was relishing the very feel of it. "Armaan dropped me home and took great care of me. I will do my duties without fail today." Armaan felt so nice when he heard that small acknowledgement from her mouth. A smile escaped his mouth and he looked down whilst others looked at him appreciating his concern for Ridhima. Atul seeing the immediate reaction of Ridhima's words shrugged his shoulders and smiled to himself. His friend was undoubtedly a changed man now and he had no complaints. He loved this change.

"I hope you all remember about the workshop in Chandigarh. You all have to work hard for that and let me tell you one thing it will be a great experience for you if you go there. Please work hard to not miss this opportunity." Keerti said and left saying, "Now get back to work and report to me at the end of the day."

The gang was looking at each other. All were excited to go to Chandigarh. Atul went towards Armaan and placing his hand around his shoulder he asked.

"How are you Armaan?" Atul was looking at Armaan's face keenly. He was smiling to himself. He had been doing so for about a day or two.

"I am totally fine brother." Armaan was looking at some files and turned his face towards Atul. "Actually, life is rocking!" Armaan gave Atul a wide smile that Atul too broke into a wide smile. He couldn't help doing so when his best friend and brother is so happy.

"Okay then. I will see in the break then." Atul said as he went off with Muskaan for his duty.

Armaan looked around to see that Ridhima had already gone off towards the general ward. He headed towards the general ward to find Ridhima talking animatedly with one of her patients. He went and stood beside her while Ridhima took no notice of him. He frowned. He went a bit ahead so that he could come into Ridhima's view but to no avail. She still did not pay any attention to him. She wasn't doing this deliberately but Armaan thought she was doing so. The girl to whom Ridhima was talking saw Armaan playing hide and seek and decided to intervene.

"What are you doing doctor?" The girl asked Armaan who was still busy catching Ridhima's attention.

Ridhima was studying some files when the girl spoke up. She jerked her head up to look at her and narrowed her eyes at her.

"What? I am studying the file. What do you see me doing?" Ridhima asked offended.

"No, no. Not you, that handsome doctor who is behind you." The girl asked and looked down, blushing. Ridhima immediately turned back her face to see Armaan who making faces at her. Ridhima forgot everything and asked him in a demanding tone.

"What are you doing Armaan?" Armaan, who was caught red handed tried to escape from Ridhima's wrath. He went towards the girl and sat beside her on a stool.

"Me? Ridhima, go and check up on your sense, okay? This is a hospital and I am here to check up on my patient." Armaan looked at Ridhima and poked out his tongue at her while the girl's face lit up as soon as he said that he had come to see her. The girl was a teenager and was really happy to receive all this attention. Ridhima gasped when he showed his tongue and was taken aback in shock.

"What is your name dear?" Armaan asked the girl while grinning looking at the expression on Ridhima's face. Before the girl could even answer, Ridhima spoke up.

"Anushka." Armaan turned his face towards Ridhima.

"Did I ask you?"

"No. But at least go and brush your teeth first. Look at your teeth. Yellow, yellow and smelling like..." Ridhima spoke disgustingly and held her nose with her hands as if blocking the smell.

"What? Have you ever looked at your face? It seems that someone didn't have a bath this morning!" Armaan said mockingly and did the same act which Ridhima did just a few seconds back.

"And you! Have you ever looked at your face? You look just like an owl with that big protruding eyes of yours. You could scare any normal being with just one look of yours." Anushka was looking at this silly banter with an amused expression on her face. She never knew that doctors could fight this much and like this. This was a first encounter for her and she was really enjoying this.

"Forget about my face. Look at your hair. They look nothing less than a broom!" Armaan was laughing like a maniac while Ridhima was trying to find some fault in him so as to fire back at him. She was trying really hard so and after spending a moment or two thinking her eyes lit up as if she had got the brightest idea in the world. Armaan saw this as it happened and did lose the opportunity to tease her.

"What happened? Tube light started glowing all of a sudden?" Armaan said grinning.

"Kam se kam meri jali toh sahi. Tumahari toh voh bhi nahi jalti! Hmph!" Ridhima said with smoke bellowing out of her ears. Armaan went quite at the mention of this. Although he was enjoying seeing Ridhima angry like anything, but being an intelligent man that he is he kept quiet. Who would speak anything when the red light is glowing? Ridhima seeing that he spoke no more and was quiet, started off once again.

"My hair looks like a broom? See what is here." Ridhima pointed her finger in front of his eyes and when his eyes were focused on her finger he bent her finger a little which was not pointing towards his nose. Armaan was visibly confused now.

"This little nasty thing of yours is bigger than a wretched witch with you see. If my hair is like a broom then they are of the male witch that is you!" Ridhima said with a winning expression written clearly all over her face. Clearly, she had won this battle. On the contrary, Armaan was totally aghast by the last statement. He was in a daze. He was staring at Ridhima as if she just ate a cockroach or rather, pushed one into his mouth! Having been defeated, he decided to say no more and turned to Anushka who was by now laughing her heart out. Ridhima also became aware of her surroundings and decided to back on her work. The people in the ward were looking at them like aliens, entertained for sure.

They quickly examined her and gave her the necessary medicines and turned to go out when she spoke up.

"Please, kal bhi mujhe tum dono hi check karne aana!" Anushka said all smiles. She really enjoyed being in a hospital where the doctors were no less than kids. And what better company could she get? Armaan and Ridhima nodded giving her a sweet smile and went to the towards the locker room. Both of them were suppressing their laughter, keeping it in hold lest any senior would see them. Why didn't I think of this before? We could have easily been seen in the ward. Lucky me! Armaan thought. Just as they were about to enter the ward, they looked at each other, the mutual expression on their faces and immediately broke out into peals of laughter. They went and sat down on the bench together, kept laughing for a long time and when they were over with that part they looked at each other and in unison muttered a silent sorry to each other. Ridhima had her hand around her stomach, completely aching with all the laughter.

"Armaan, if we keep on behaving like this na, then one day Sanjeevni will be known as a mental asylum, where the patients treat the mad doctors!" Ridhima said and started laughing on her own joke.

"And vaise bhi, we need to concentrate on our work now. We have to go to Chandigarh, remember?" Armaan reminded himself more than he reminded Ridhima. He always dreamt of being the best, and he was not going to miss the golden opportunity.

"Yeah, yeah. I remember that Armaan. You don't need t remind me. I am not a kid!" Ridhima said and turned her face away from him, pretending that she was angry.

"Really? Are you sure?" Armaan said grinning. "I don't think what you did just a few moments back is typical of an adult!"

Ridhima turned her face towards him and suppressing her smile, she said. "Armaan I want no more of it. I am sick of laughing, okay? If I keep on remembering all this na, my mind will not be able to concentrate. Then we will not be able to go to Chandigarh, then we will feel bad and then..." Ridhima ranted nonstop and Armaan was all the more surprised now. He covered her mouth with her hand and spoke. "Tum kitna bolti ho yaar! Kabhi toh apni rail gaadi par break laga liya karo. Try it. It will be good for you." He withdrew his hand and started laughing again, when he remembered that he had been challenged by her last night.

"And yes. How could I forget that? You challenged me skating right?" Armaan asked Ridhima who looked like she had just been caught. "What happened? Someone's afraid?"

"Armaan, I don't think I can come today. I am busy. I have to go shopping." Ridhima said thinking of more excuses to postpone the 'meeting' in the skating rink. She was sure she would lose this time.

"The same old habit of girls! Shopping, shopping and more shopping? Aren't you bored of it by now? And anyways, I know that this is a silly bahana of yours. Don't you dare try it on me. You are coming to the sports complex today at 7. And if you have some genuine work then you have a good 1 hour for that. Even I have some work." Armaan finished. Ridhima opened her mouth to say something but was cut off that instant by Armaan. "Stop that Ridhima!" He said with a firm yet a funny tone. "You are coming today and that is final. No use of making more excuses." Armaan said with a sweet smile on his face. Ridhima shut her mouth immediately and decided to go on with it. It wasn't of any use arguing with Armaan.

"See you at 7!" Armaan turned and walked away. Ridhima kept thinking of the arrangements she had to make for that 'meeting'. Not the ones for Armaan or something else, but for her. These were the safety arrangements. Thinking all this she went out of the locker room as well.

***********************

The duty was over and everyone was assembling in the locker room. Tired of the day's work, half of them were cursing Dr. Kirti while the more not-so-modern ones were curing their fate. Amidst all this Ridhima was very tensed and Armaan was having a near gala time, thinking about, or rather predicting what lay next. He stole a glance at Ridhima.

"Guys! Kya yaar tum aise muh latka ke baithe ho?" Armaan asked everybody.

"Abbe oye! You keep quite. If you are so interested in working then tell me. I will be very happy to hand over my work to you." Muskaan said grumpily.

'No please. Keep me out of it." Armaan said and walked out of the locker room giving a last glance to Ridhima. At that same moment Ridhima looked at him and he winked at her. Ridhima looked daggers at him. It was as if she was prepared to meet every challenge. There was a very confident look on her face. Bidding a bye to everyone, she walked out as well.

*************************

So this is the ninth part. I finally managed to write it down. I hope you all enjoy reading this part. I had really enjoyed myself writing it. This part is specially for Drashti Di. I wrote it only because of her. Otherwise you would have to wait a bit more for this. And yes about the skating part. I will definitely include it in the next part, without fail!

This has become a ritual now for me. Requesting you to please leave long comments. I had noticed something really weird when I posted the promo for this part. I get more comments for promos than for a part! May be I should start posting more promos so at least I come to know if whatever I am writing is worth reading or not.

Last but not the least. Silent readers, it has been a high time since you broke that silence of yours. Please break this maun vrat of yours!! =) I would appreciate that whole heartedly.

Love you loads,

Swati...
