Vidya POV

Sagar was laughing along with me that's new. He looked hilarious. "Vidya you look funny" sagar said to me pointing at me up and down. " yeah well pointing is rude" I said putting his finger down"and you look funnier" I spoke back. "yeah well you should've seen you face when that guy dropped water on you!. It was like ahh and ahhh" Sagar said. I laughed. "you love imiating me don't you, but when I crackeed that egg on your head-genious!! You looked really scared, like you were about to wet your pants!" I said laughing. "I'm potty trained Vids!" Sagar said laughingly back. "me too...WAIT did you just call me Vids? wow thats new" I said in amazement. "yeah so,? but remember when that lady and that manager...." Sagar said. "yeah he was all urghhh disgusting get out now,, and we were like o.k" I said laughingly. We both looked at each other and high fived each other."lets go now, and get cleaned up" he said offering his hand. I liked what ever this was, was it friendship or enimety in a new light? but what ever it was it felt right. I looked at Sagar who took me to the car. We both sat down. this time he kept talking and talking and I was silent. What was it? Are we friends now? I wish whatever that was stays, because whatever it was, was a start of something new and good in my life, deffinitely. "Sagar, are we friends now?" I asked curious keeping my head down. "Uhh Vidya, we laughed and all but that doesn't mean I'm ready to be your friend. Just by laughing with someone isn't friendship. But whatever that was meant that we don't have to be enemines. I mean you can be my acquaintince." Sagar said. Every word hurt, it stung and I don't know why. Maybe because he's the first person who doesn't want to be my friend.Where'd did I go wrong? He doesn't even understand, why can't he be my friend. I can't take rejection from him like 3 times in a day. what the hell, I don't even care anymore. He doesn't care why should I? But I guess being an acquintence means having a comfort zone, and thats a start. I won't stop untill he's my friend. "okay" I said. we got home and he opened my door.I got out and thanked him. He grabbed my hand. I felt something. I don't know what. His hands were so warm and it felt good. He started running untill we were at the backyard. He let go and disapeared. "sagar where are you?" I asked. It wasn't even funny, I hate it when people do that, but I love it when I do it. Wait a minute I;m such a hypocrite in my mind, not even joking. Suddenly I got sprayed with water. I turned and saw Sagar. "Sagar!" I screamed. I took the pipe that was in his hands and sprayed him. His shirt was wet showing outlines of his muscles I looked away. I looked down at myself to see that my clothes were wet and were showing a bit. Sagar noticed and went away.He came back with his eyes covered my his hand, while in the other hand he had a towel. "here" he said. I took the towel and wrapped it around me. "thank you" I said and ran off, inside the house. I quickly took a shower and changed my clothes, but my thoughts were all Sagar. I came out of my room and went downstairs to the living room. I saw everyone sitting down.Even Sagar. I sat down next to Sagar since the only seat was by him. everyone looked serious ecxept for me and Sagar. "whats going on?" I whispered to Sagar he just shrugged signaling that he didn't know.

" Sagar beta, Vidya beti, shaadi" uncle ji said. I jumped up, " I can't get married to Sagar!" I said. Suddenly they burst out laughing. "no,no not you two, that would be like the end of the earth," uncle ji said. "It's Diya and Jay, we want them to get married since Jay is done University and he passed with excellent marks. He'll be joining the Company and since Diya only has 2 weeks left. We called your parents and they said yes." he said. "oh okay" I said. I saw that Diya was blushing. suddenly something hit me "shit exams! and then universities going to end.!" I got up and ran to my room. I picked up one of my books and started studying. When Sagar came to my room. "hey" Sagar said. "hey" I said back. "need help" sagar asked. I nodded. He took a seat beside me and started helping me. He explained me everything clearly that I got it. Then he took my next subject book and helped me with that. He told me little tricks to remember formulas and everything.We went through all my subjects. Then we just started talking and out of nowhere I went asleep.

2 weeks passed by real fast.

Exams were over and the results were in. I was sitting with Sagar, but we aren't friends yet. I looked stressed out. The teacher posted the marks up and I ran to see them. 92%, 89%, 90%, 96% and my best mark 94%. I looked at Sagar and he was amazed. It was all thanks to him I gave him a hug. I kept hugging him. He didn't hug back. I let go and remembered we weren't friends. So I started walking away when someone hugged my from the back. I knew it was Sagar so I hugged him back. "friends" he asked. "finally" I said. I let go. "what were you're marks.?" I asked. "90%, 88%, 90%, 94% and then a 90%" He said. I nudged him "I got better marks and you taught me everything" I said doing a happy dance. He picked me up and twirled me around. We hugged. "finally" I whispered.

The whole lot was sitting down discussing wedding plans for Diya and Jay. Diya by now was tomato red. Jay just seemed zoomed out.

Amar: I was thinking beta, that the wedding should take place at our old farmhouse, in punjab.

While Amar said that he looked at Divya who blushed.

Vidya noticed their odd behaviour

Vidya: uncle ji, well I;m going to call you papa, alright. So what happened at the farm house

Amar: pyarr

Vidya: OooOoOoO Thats so sweet! Where you're love bloom, Diya's love will begin. I likey!

Sagar: I agree no better place for the wedding.

Vidya: well we have to talk to a pundit for the perfect date don't we?

Divya: baath ho gayi, the wedding will happen in 3 weeks. We agreed that you're going to plan everything else Vidya.

Vidya gasped.

Vidya: what!So fast, abb tho waqt bohut kam hai! We have to start all the preperations soon. We have to leave soon as well. Then we have to go shopping, catering decor and oh my gosh.!! I'll die doing this alone!

Amar started laughing

Amar: then don't do it alone, Sagar why don't you help? Tum dono aaj kal dost bangaya tho ek dos re ke madhat kar lo.Problem free.

Sagar who was drinking water spit it out.

Sagar: main? Mujhe shaadi ka a-z nai athi!

Amar: exactly so Vidya can help you and you can help Vidya and in the process both of you will learn.

Vidya: alright, what say Sagar.

Vidya said stretching out her hand

Vidya: partners?

Sagar: Partners

Sagar replied shaking her hand.

Vidya: So everyone pack your bags we're leaving tomorrow!

Vidya excalimed clapping her hands and jumping up and down.

Next Day

Vidya was the first one up and it was her job to get everyone up so far everyone was up except for Sagar. She went to his room.

Vidya: Sagar wake up

Vidya said. Nothing

Vidya: Sagar wake up

Vidya said shaking him. Nothing

Vidya sighed

Vidya: I love you

Vidya said jokingly and Sagar just smiled in his sleep.

Vidya: Well if this is the way it's going to be well I don't play by the rules either.

Vidya took out a whistle from her pockets.

She whistled nothing happened.

Then she went out the room and bought a bucket of water and a blow horn. She tried the blow horn nothing happened. Then she tried the bucket of water. She picked it up and out it came splashing on Sagar. He woke up and since he was wet his eyes were blurred and grabbed Vidya . They both landed on the ground. Sagar still couldn't see so he remained on top of Vidya. Finally he cleared his eyes and opened to see Vidya whose mouth was wide open.

Vidya: I-am-never-waking-you-up-again

Sagar was kind of embaressed. so he trie to ease his way out.

Sagar: well HellOooO there?

Vidya huffed

Vidya: what are you doing get off of me! Get ready in 10 minutes we're leaving and if I were you I wouldn't want to be left behing for my sister's wedding!

Sagar sighed.

Sagar: what If I like this position

Vidya screamed. He finally got up.

18 hours later they reached their pind.

Vidya blew a whistle and everyone who wa sleeping woke up.

Everyone stepped out the car.

Vidya: I figured out that the house has 5 rooms. But we cannot use one of the rooms because thats the suhaag raat special couple room. So that leaves us with 3 rooms. So Mama and Papa get the room downstairs. Then there are 2 other rooms, one with the balcony one without. Guys with Guys, girls with girls. Whoever reaches the balcony room reserves it got it. Then ofcourse our Mama and and Papa get one room to theirselves who will joing us tomorrow.

Vidya took the keys and opened the house.Divya looked at it and smiled. The Sagar started running and Vidya's eyes went wide.So she started running.

Vidya: I am so getting that room!

Amar and Divya smiled.

Everyone entered the house. Amar and Divya went to their room. Leaving Jay and Diya behind.

Diya POV

It was just me and Jay. I can;t believe I'm getting married to him. It feels so werid but I feel so happy. I started walking when suddenly somthing held me back. I turned around seeing Jay holding my hand. I blushed and looked away." app kya" I was cut off my Jay. " I don't know what it is, but whatever it is it's attracting me to you. It's pulling me towards you. Vidya said it's love, Sagar said it's love but what I need to know if it is love and I love you, do you love me?" I was shocked by what he said. " i don't know what to say. I'll start off with I don't know whats with you that keeps pulling me towards you. Ever since you started living with us something, somewhere in my heart went off. I guess what I'm trying to say is I do love you" I said. I heard whistles and cheering. I saw Vidya and Sagar and blushed. Just then Vidya pushed Sagar and ran off with her luggage. Sagar followed. I looked at Jay" I think they would make a good couple" I said. He smiled and nodded. Then he hugged me. I took in his cologne. Then I heard something crash. I looked at Jay worried. We both ran upstairs and saw Sagar and Vidya wrestling to get to the balcony room, then I realized how dumb the were. "guys I though you wanted the balcony room? Its not there it's all the way there" I said pointing to a room exactly opposite of the room. I saw Sagar trying to go but then Vidya grabbed his arm. I knew what she what she was doing. She got closer to him and he froze. She got really close, she grazed her fingers on his face and started leaning in forward. She then steppen on his foot and ran off to the room. She got the room leaving behing a stunned Sagar. I left the room.

No POV

With Sagar and Jay

Sagar didn't move from their and Jay tried everything pulling him as well.

Jay: don't tell me you love her.

Sagar gave no response.

Jay: she has such an effect on you

Suddenly Sagar came back from some world of his.

Sagar: huh no me and love, no way thats the last thing I would do!

Jay: yeah well you sure got excited

Jay said pointing down.

Sagar looked and got embaressed. Jay started laughing.
