ok guys this is the edited version of my scene:
Mayank and Nupur are now friends. Both of them are getting bored at home so Nupur calls Mayank and starts chatting with him about any random stuff. Mayank quietly listens to her nonstop rambling with a smile on his face. He hears her mention something about having not eaten pani puri in SUCH a long time. He abruptly interrupts her and asks her to meet him at the park as he has to talk to her about something urgently, and puts the phone down. Nupur, worried, rushes to meet him at the park, only to find him grinning from ear to ear. It look as though he is hiding something. She runs to him and asks him why he called her here. He movies aside, and she sees a pani puri stall there. Nupur is surprised and asks him, "tum meri baatein sun rahe the?". Mayank replies,"of course. Dosti ki hai tho nibhani tho padegi na?"
Nupur smiles and then both of them go and eat pani puri. As Nupur is eating, a little bit of pani runs down her chin, and Mayank gazes at her wondering how anyone can be so innocently attractive. After she finishes eating Nupur thanks mayank and Mayank, in a completely Nupur-style, says,"Dosti mein no sorry no thank you!". They both start laughing, walk towards a bench and sit down. children are playing around and there is a lot of hulchul going on. While talking all of a sudden a family catches their eyes. The Family seems so happy, laughing and having fun. The topic is for some reason diverted to Mayank and Nupurs Family. They both talk about Nupur's mom and Mayanks dad. Both of them become really emotional and nostalgic as they talk. They have never been so open with anyone before and so they bond. Nupur has tears in her eyes and to hide them she closes her eyes and puts her head on Mayanks shoulder. Mayank is surprised at her action but understands her fears and sorrows as he too is going through the same. He slowly and gently puts an arm around her, comfortingly stroking her arm. He too rests his head on hers and both of them;for some reason unknown , wish that time stood still. They continue to sit in the same position, watching the family celebrate their joy while the sun sets. For them, they think that this is the start of a strong friendship, but people around them think othewise. In the background an old couple discuss how both of them look made for each other.
